@Dark. I am thinking turn based, as this seems the best way of introducing more complexity. I would be using BBC BASIC for Windows, so it would be for a PC.I am influenced by old games I enjoy playing including, Alpha Centuri, Birth of the Federation, Homeworld, Freelancer, X 2 and even Sea Dogs.Escape From Cyberdyne was a first attempt at using speech and sound and investigating types of interfaces, but I will still be learning and trying new things.You probably won't hear from me for a while, but I will return with something.

Good for you! That's truly an amazing achievement! Your questions, the ones I know the answers to, anyways:1. I haven't gotten to Rusty yet, but from what I read upthread, yes, his health and attack scales with yours. At least you can wipe out lesser foes with more attack. 2. Attack and defense can only be raised until they add up to 750, but health can max out at 1. You'd need a hell of a lot of bits to get it that high, though.3. No idea. Quite a few that I know of, but I don't know the total.4. I have yet to beat My Music in the required time, and that's the one I'm most likely to complete provided my arms don't start giving me problems (I have to give myself a break because sore shoulders). 
 My Videos is a tough one, I agree. Maybe with high enough attack you could race through it.5. Rays ignore defense, and I'm not sure if they do more damage based on your health, but your best bet is to raise your health as high as you can. At least, that's what I was told.7. I believe you have to have stats equal to 500 to unlock the sound test thing.Also, if anyone can tell me what I did wrong to not get the "Foolish Character! Received a total of 2000 damage from items" and the "killed 100 enemies in the same level!" accomplishments, I'd love to know! I was running that trap item in Windows for over an hour and didn't get the accomplishment, and I've already come so far on this character that I really don't want to over-write the save now. I also thought I'd get the 100 kills if I ran the viruses in Downloads and then let one get past me a few times, but it didn't work, and neither did running 100 birds.
  I got the "Extinct Species" accomplishment, but not the "100 kills" one.

And now I really hate that level. All the obstacles are so close together!. I manage to keep ahead of the fire but inevitably I land on a spike that hurts me worse than any spike I've encountered before, a delete ray that strafes me because I flew too low or an electrical barrier that fries me on contact. I lost over 100 lives on that level alone yesterday and gave up. I'm trying to get as far into the Windows folder as possible without dying or at least without dying over a hundred times. I need all my lives for Rusty. I always quit the level and start over when I feel my life reserves are too low and never go in there with less than 255 lives to start with. I've run that
  extra life item at the beginning of My Videos so so many times ...

Depends on the manamon in question. Garganchan, for instance. I put all his points into strength first, so if he survived a hit, he'd wail whatever he was facing and probably kill it. Then I switched over to HP, and he's getting a bit bulkier now. Still not awesome, but definitely tolerable. Personally I tend to pump attack/special attack, depending on the manamon, and then speed so that I have a better chance of hitting first. Pandourbit though...his speed is awful, so there's no point. I pumped attack, then started shoring up his special defense because it's lower than his defense.

That sounds awesome. I'm afraid I've not tried cyberdine since       I couldn't get the google drive download to work, (it winjed about me using xp). oh, and yes I will be getting the so called upgraded windows machine later this year now that there are actually interesting things that require it rather thajn just because "microsoft don't support it" and prefer to break backwards compatibility and bugger up the interface than actually make something as good as what we had previously.either way I'll be looking forward to seeing the game.

Just look for it in your start menu. There should be a shortcut there. And if you're on 8 and later, go in to the midi mapper tab, and you'll find the Windows Media Player default device there.

Hi,Here's quite a long post but man I think another idea would be awesome, like Lirin's:I'd love to see  propper side scrolling beat em up with combos and such, a bit like Final Fight. Right now we have beat-em-ups that let you mash space as fast as you want to punch, where as final fight actually had a sort of small timer so it wasn't like a super human punch. Also, our beat-em-ups don't really have combo systems currently, or even special attacks. It's more like pick up an item, use number row, and use weapon of your choice. But in the arcade, it's like one button for attack, one for jump and you can press attack and jump to do special attack, or you can use directions with attack button to do different things. Also if you pick up an item, you can then press the attack button to start swinging it around and it will either disappear if you are knocked down, or, in the case of a gunn, if it runs out of ammoe. Sometimes, if you ar
 e knocked down the items literally fall on the ground again, meaning that you can either scramble to pick them up or enemies can do the same. Or, sometimes they might even break.Also, how about another mechanic? What about knocking down shelves by punching them that make loads of items appear?

How do I use image recognition? Also, how do I associate? This sounds intriguing and I'll see if my Dad will let me try it on his phone. Also, can I even go even further? Let's say I go to Feel The Force Day, and take a picture of, say, someone dressed up as a character from a film. Can I make the picture say something like, Aaron with C3PO or Aaron with Princess Belle? This could be great for stuff like that!

unfortunately the phone does the associations, but if you associate a photo with a contact it can recognize that face and say instead of photo with 2 faces it will say that the contact is in that photo.

[[wow]], in Snowstar city in the stadium ruins, there's a fair haul of hidden items near that chest in the packed snow.In the very top-right corner there's a spirit staff v 2.0 And a level up herb a bit diagonal from the chest, southwest or eastish. That staff looks nice, might be the only one available in the game. It wasn't in the guide. Also the ice crystal eluded me but I finally found it hiding in the ery northwest corner of the area.

@Aaron, crytically the problem and the major difference between Streets of rage, golden axe, final fight, alien vs predator, and even more modern games like dragon age as compared to audiogames like superliam or the zompocalypse demo is one of perspective.Audio 2d games have mostly worked on effectively a one dimentional plane, ie you hear it on the right and move up to it. Even the jumps through the air have been effectivelygiving your character the property to move along that one dimentional plane whilst not effected by ground based dangers such as pits for a short time while the bup arrow is pressed. A true 2D game like street fighter or mario would as we've said before make far more of the second dimention, indeed in games like guilty gear or night stalkers, character's movement through the air can be a deeply complex thing.What made the walk along beatemups difficult, is that they were, as one person described, 2.5 dimentional. I'll try and

If you begin on the letter a you could attack right to an enemy on the letter s, or you could move upwards to the letter q, and attack enemies on the letter r, or downwards to the letter z and attack enemies on the x key. You could not directly turn either up or down, you are always facing left or right and can only attack left or right. when you hit jump, you would move up into the air above the a key and could say attack an enemy on the s key with a jump kick, but you couldn't attack an enemy on the q key above you. Now however is where things get complicated, and where the tactics come in. suppose for example you are on the a key and see an enemy coming up the upper row above you, and one just above you on the q key. Well what you might do is hit diagonal up and jump, and 
 jump from the a key to the w key, then use a special attack that hits on both sides to take out both the enemy on the q key, and the incoming enemy on the e key. Now however your at the top and enemies are coming up from the bottom row, from the x and c keys, so you need to move down and get to one side to hit them. This is what made the walk along beatemups so challenging. both you and enemies always had to maneuver into a position where you could attack effectively, using jumps which would sometimes put you temporarilly out of danger. R bear in streets of rage 2 for example is a tough boss because though he has a very short reach, he runs in small diagonals around you, plus has the ability to jump from somewhere above or below you right onto you in a diagonal pattern when he uses his body splash move. Adding to it RPG eements, speels and large selection of items it would be extremely fun and avesome.FPS? well, this problem exist in audio games for ever. For me, making a First person game in audio without using 3d bunaural audio is something like making a fighting games without ability to attack your enemy and maybe this is why I never enjoyed Swamp and probably never will with full respect for Aprone.

For me, making a First person game in audio without using 3d binaural audio is something like making a fighting games without ability to attack your enemy and maybe this is why I never enjoyed Swamp and probably never will with full respect for Aprone.

The iOS 10 is great. I love it.What I have noted so far is that the keyboard feels more accessible and your fingers seem to find the right place when you are typing. Also, the dots on the Braille keyboard appear to be more stable and responsive.The magic tap works better when answering or ending calls. It responds faster than in iOS 9. In fact, one of the major bugs of first releases of iOS 9 was this bug with magic tap which would respond extremely slowly. The music app seem to work faster when switching from one song to another.Arranging apps is now easier than never before, but I would like to see that actions menu in many instances gone from the homepage.Now, whenever there's a switch button, especially in services such as wi-fi, bluetooth, or do not disturb, when enabled/ disabled from the control centre, Voiceover will say: "Wi-fi, switch button, on."The keyboard sounds are also changed, and the sounds will now also apply to brail
 le keyboard.There are more voices in the speech section!I personally like Ava, that was the voice that should have been there a long time ago, but I think I will stick with Daniel (enhanced) for daily use.Photo description was not as amazing as I was imagining. I have a picture of my dog and voiceover was not capable of describing it. However, if you have multiple photos, you can just search for the word "Dog", and it will look for a dog in your photos and will show it to you if one is found.All in all, I like this upgrade of iOS. It is quite less buggy compared to the first days of iOS 9, and it feels a little more accessible than the previous iOS versions.

I don't use a braille note taker, but I have played twilight heroes. it was fun, though i think I liked Kingdom of Loathing and metroplexity better.Indeed Twilight heroes (and indeed metroplexity), are both based upon kingdom of loathing source code, so if Twilight heroes is good for braille note takers, probably the other two would be as well.

@claw you can customize the sounds of your what's app notification from inside the app, go into settings and notifications. I just updated to the latest version and it appears that what's app calls now go directly to my lockscreen like normal calls. this also means that magic tap works for answerring and ending the call, this is an amazing feature, I always wanted to be able to do this with calls outside the phone app.

 were no longer accurate.I'd also like to note that email and ftp accounts should be back online, so if you need to do work on the server, you should be clear to do so.Anyone who has made submissions should be aware that your directory is now empty, so if you want files to be present in your folder for whatever reason, you'll need to re-upload them (all submissions were downloaded before the server switch).

Just press the power button twice in quick succesion. The first press will silence the ringtone and the second one will reject the call.I've been using this ever since I got my iPhone 4S which I need to be upgrading shortly, and I find it so convenient that I never even really noticed there was in deed a reject button on other screens.Lukas

Good news, guys. The battery issue seems to have had something to do with the update process itself, because it's fine now.I'm really happy about the magic tap working better, too. I really hated that it would often not work, especially since finding the end call button is usually something of a chore.

True that. and having said that, I wasn't pointing that answer at you specifically... more as a general point that many people in the blind community are zealously loyal to apple because of what they consider apple's charitable goodness and how much they are willing to help us. And like I said, I'm sure that to a point, there are some higher ups who do care. It's just idiotic to tout that as the justification for sticking with Apple... and so many blind people act indeed as if they think that apple is just so good and generous and forget that marketting and good will matter. I'm not saying that they don't care, just that accessibility is not a priority for the same reason people believe., necessarily. But again, I don't care about their motives... it doesn't effect me. Just so long as I have an accessible product... I hate Apple's ecosystem and being locked into it much more.

So, teleport. I get that it takes you out of battle except in tamer fights, but so does flee, and everyone gets access to that. Is there any reason to use teleport over flee? Is there any reason for teleport to occupy a move slot? Perhaps it's just one of those moves added in to put a monkey wrench into the process of catching it, but has little use outside of that. And berserk. This seems like something that's useful only in tamer fights later in the game to stop them from using healing items. That and in online battles to annoy people I guess. Does it do anything other than just make you use random moves from your list for a few rounds? I usually ditch the berserk stuff and try to get one hit kills. That stops them from using healing items too.

Teleport has no uses at all once the manamon has been caught.I think the berserk status is useful in some situations. For example, if you encounter an opponent with an attack that your manamon is weak to, and you can hit before they do, you can try to make them go berserk so that they're less likely to use that move on you again and again.

I personally have never used the Berserk status deliberately. Berserk Branch has a chance of giving it to the opponent, and that's cool and helpful...but it's not something I'd rely on. Too much randomness and luck involved.Random observation, but I feel like with many of these manamon, the "four moves of the same type = good" mentality has been used.Here's what I mean.In pokemon, some not-so-good battlers would do something like Ember, Fire Spin, Fire Blast and Flamethrower on a Ninetales (a fire type). This is a ridiculous moveset because you should pick one, maybe two, of those moves, and use other options.Well, many manamon have basically nothing but moves of their own type, and they can't learn anything externally, so they end up being one-trick ponies as I've discussed before. The manamon who are ultimately going to become useful are either 1. the ones who are so strong that it doesn't matter what they
 9;re stuck with, or 2. the ones who have other coverage besides their own type, coverage that they can use well.I wonder how much Aaron and Damian played pokemon, and whether or not they were the type of player who'd put three or four fire moves on a pokemon because it looked cool. Heh.Someone asked earlier if Dussoket learns any physical electric moves. Yes it does. It gets Sparking Tail and Zap Slam. Zap Slam is kind of bad, but Sparking Tail is pretty good, and Dussoket hits like a truck.Teleport is ripped straight out of pokemon. Wild Abra have it, and it just makes them harder to catch. Once you've caught the pokemon, Teleport is a wasted moveslot and should be done away with ASAP.

@grryfindore you can still move apps and creat folders the old way.There are quite a number of bugs being reported on Applevis non that are too serious however. One I've noticed in the contacts app while using the table index still exists this was in IOS 9 too but you can move by headings as a work around. I also am not a fan of page 1 being the search but its something I guess I'll get used to in time.

This game is murder on keyboards and hands alike. It is badly balanced and murderously hard, and I don't think it's being supported anymore.My advice: play another platformer.I tried this one. I had a little fun with it. The concept is quite interesting actually. But after I kept getting murdered left and right, after my hands began to hurt, I decided a game was simply not worth injuring myself for.

@Jayde, yes, it's hard, but it's also fun, at least for me. I usually stop to rest for a bit if my hands or arms start complaining. When I get a challenge like this, I want to overcome it. That's part of how I roll. I know the game is no longer supported, but it is complete, it's the best thing I've seen made in BGT and it's inspired me to get back into coding in that engine because I've seen what can be done with it. I may get sore shoulders sometimes, but I don't begrudge the 180 mb I used to download this game.@Amerikranian, I meant does the damage required to get the achievement scale up if you raise your health? I know you get more damage from the items if you raise your health, which is part of why I did it. I wanted to get the achievement faster. It does not seem to be working, however. I don't understand why I cannot get the received-a-total-of-2k-damage-from-items accomplishment when I've run the trap item at the be
 ginning of the Windows folder dozens of times and losing 50 + health each time I activate it. According to my calculations, I should have gotten the accomplishment long since.

I've got high hopes for Mortrex. My Aperishian at level 47 had a fair bit of HP, bad attack, fairly bad defense, decent special attack, good special defense and decent speed. And of course, it gets a bit of a bump when transforming. I just don't know how big.So, uh, I don't know if this is new, as I've never once seen a tamer use it. But Aperishian gets...Daring Comeback. A ghost and shadow type. Gets a physical move meant to sort of even the scales. I mean, this is a really neat concept since I think Mortrex is fast, and it could really turn the tide. But how exactly does a ghost attack with all of its might? It's a ghost! This just made me chuckle.I'm gonna have to breed a good Spirost and then get one of you good people to help me transform it.Discovered this afternoon that Matt's Sacroloon has exactly 218HP, which with both screens is actually pretty damned tankish. Might take the cake for the overall best holy type in th
 e game, barring the mythical of course.

Imo misses shouldn't take usage points since they can take up several turns, as I just missed a move 4 times in a row. So technically the one time it hit was worth 5 usage points and about 15 hp, because that's what I gave up for that kill. I should have only used a single usage point, and lost zero hp. Maybe I should be using skill drinks to recover those wasted skill points, but before mineruff tunnel? I doubt it. I could go back to the hotel, yeah for usage points. I guess it's close enough. I'm not paying gold to be healed. Not for misses. Still continuing on with the strategy of building for misses. All hp and defense to see how it goes. That first strike stuff where I put all training points into attack and speed only works if I'm striking first. A miss isn't that. That only takes off zero hp and has none chance of inflicting no status. Nope, I need hp, and defense, and lots of it. Let's make the misses hurt less.

See, this is tricky. Logically speaking, if I fire a lightning bolt at you and you dodge, I still used that lightning bolt. So I only have the energy to use, say, four more of them before I'm exhausted. So that would make sense from a logical side.I think the simple answer here is to make 100% accurate moves the norm, and only make particular attacks inaccurate.By 100% accurate, I don't mean like Aura Master or Sonic Missile, which always always hit regardless of accuracy drops. I mean like Superspark or Earthquake, which will hit (barring immunity) every time except for accuracy mods.As it stands, I agree that the game is essentially too luck-based for a competitive metagame to emerge.

ok so i removed AAC from my computer and  redownloading my stages, this just happends to be one of them... i'm stuck on a level where you have to use knife only to get rid of viruses, i kill a lot of them, but then there's this low rumbling thing to my right that kills me in one hit, which sucks. i'm posting this because this is really, really getting on my nerves. thanks for your help, and i have no idea how you can know which chapter your on.
