I'm not going to sentence all my players to certain death by coing to the wrong map. Thus, no radiation poisoning. What vending machine bug? Wasn't aware there was one, or forgot about it.About that email thing, I want to suggest that something be done in STW store. when you purchase things, the ID must also be sent to your email. When it involves money, most people will keep complaining in the game if they do not get the ID. so until Sam get online to solve the problem, the complain will never end.What I see here, there must be some professionalism involve in the setup so that people feel confident to buy things, not to mention the good impression that you appreciate your players who contribute to the game.

By the time everyone is talking about the new update, you guys should seriously look into security. If someone can unbanned themselves from the game, what meaning does it bring? 5. about staying long in the gas station or giftshop, if people do not like it burning, there can be another ways to prevent those. 
 You can just limit items to be picked up by users in a day, or implementing a taxing system. this can be equivalent to modern days scenario for staying in a motel or something similar, where if you stay at a specific place too long, you have to pay. in STW, tax should be automatically collected from users inventory, from the most valuable items to the least. Just like if you stay above a specified time you will get tax 1% of your inventory items, and it keeps increasing each STW days. People who just sit and wait to collect items in the gas station for long will find it actually not beneficial because their good items will be tax.

@family mario, any interest in using realivox or EW symphonic choires for some of the songs, and/or deaflemask for the backing tracks? deaflemask is similar to famitracker but supports many chips including: 2a03, sid (c64), gameboy sound hardware, ym2612 (with or without sn77489), ymu7xx (fm/pcm hybrid chip used on some old cell phones), huC6280 (turbo grafx16/PC Engine), and ym2151 (various arcade games). for ym2151, it can be accompanied by a sega pcm chip (the same one used in E.g. After burner and out run). I'm also offering to do the vocal files for the alphabet chant myself so you don't get burned out. If I do end up making them I'll probably end up using acapella peter or nuance Phiona, the ladder of which I got for free since I am a mac user.

in my opinion, apple has bent over backwards to add accessibility into their products for us. yes, I will admit that there is a marketing aspect, but that's true with every company, that's how they make a living. If there are bugs, they generaly get fixed within 2 or 3 updates, that's what the accessibility testing team at apple is for, and that's what the feedback ap is for. And no, the nfb didn't need to step in and sue apple because it didn't have accessibility built into their products, because I have heard from many people that voice over was already in the mac prior to that, and also that apple had voice over on their phones the very next day. I hardly notice any bugs, and I use my phone on a daley bases. Even if there are bugs, I'm optimistic that they will get fixed, and that doesn't make my phone unusable. At least it has accessibility features and works for me.

And yup, I had definitely missed that, soshame on me.I also went back real quick to check the belltower. Now, unless you have to come here during a specific window, or with a specific manamon, or before a certain point in the game, I can safely assure you that no, there is nothing to be gained by coming back here. Everyone says the same stuff, including the guy on the top floor. If any of you know he changes when some specific condition is met, I'd like to hear it, but given this game's general lack of complexity regarding its quests, I doubt it.Heck, maybe if you have a Bellaard between level 35 and 37 with Dissonant Chime and a Mega Mic equipped and an attack stat of greater than 99 with a defense of lower than 62, he will rematch you. Stranger things have happened.And no, that snark is not aimed at any user or use
 rs. It's just me being sarcastic about the sometimes exceedingly random requirements for quests or deeds in games in general. Generally, this game is free of those, though I've always found the convenient geology and route-blocking/route-unblocking quite amusing.

ok i'm back and i've read all the posts  here, i agree with some and disagree with others, but all i want to say is: maybe admins should not have an ability to place bombs, make rocks move in the mountins, or anything, they can still look without someone having to trust them, they can still copy inventory and stuff, they can still move players, but remove the ability of admins to play a sound as though they made the item cleer, or someone is no longer being a newbie, because when i hear this sound i think something impordent has happend, and i found out that an admin is having way too much with admin powers. well that's it, and i'm sorry for bringing this up, i just felt for my point to be a bit more cleer.

I'd say iron is worth selling, even a little riln adds up quickly, if you're looking for one big find that will pay for your house, you're not going to find it, my advice is mine out anything you find, sell it and go mine more. you'll get better at mining this way, while earning the riln you'll eventually need. keep in mind you will find more valuable things as you get better and that will make things go quicker, but even now I don't leave anything behind, because hey that's quick easy riln.as to the house, trust me, the bank is cheaper but if you really want something, consider renting an inn room, cheaper than a house and you probably have the riln to do that now, especially if you keep mining out the iron and stuff. also keep in mind, some markets pay more for some things than others, and players might pay more still.edited to add, a horse despawns with you when you log out, but any wagons it might be pulling do

Time to find out!      Core Exiles - Ten Years OnHi there Fellow Exile.It's Paul Cooper here from core-Exiles. I've been your resident Developer for CE for the last ten years plus and I wanted to take a few moments of your time if I could to highlight a growing concern.But before I do so, I thought we might review what's gone on in CE over the last few years? After all some of you may have been away from the Core for a while and missed out on a lot. •    Most recently we created and launched Corporations. The ability to create and grow your own corp within CE. Hire your own crew, using your own ships and develop a business within the game to complement your play style, or simply for the bragging rights •    Prior to that over the last few years we have added Core-Exiles Buddies, they have collected nearly a Million units of resource already for their captains. Deployed Commercial builds to Genesis Deployments increasing their overall manufacturing range. •    CE Reached the point where it could start the AI Genesis War Deployment campaign. Already taking back a planet from the ever present A.I.•    Programs like the Reward Collection Program were started giving players access to old Olympic items over time. The A.R.C Project was created.•    We celebrated our Tenth Anniversary with a month long Party, BBQ and so many giveaways I'm still looking for the kitchen sink!•    We launched the Ship Training Program. Created three new Genesis Programs thanks to the in game support of players. This in turn expanded the number of Genesis Deployments and bolstered the AI war effort.•    We expanded the 'Account Add-ons' to over 30 track-able upgrades!•    Created our First of many 'Coops Challenges' again giving away so much in the way of in game goodies my head started to spin •    The game saw the advent of the Research Academy and the Exiles Foundry replacing the outdated crystal crafting. So far allowing for 691 items to be player created.•    Nebula Service Advanced Management was added expanding the options for those using the Mining Drones.•    Project Tartarus Completed and Settlement Bunkers were added bringing a great expansion to settlements and bringing the number of settlement buildings up to 261!•    On the subject of Settlements we released the Settlement Event system. Since doing so 38,781 events have been triggered and dealt with by your settlement crew.•    During that time 381 Player made ships have been crafted and thanks to the Crazy Ivan Family 'Pimp Your Ship' business coming into being over 100 of those have since been 'pimped'.•    We added Maintenance to the Worm Hole Anchor systems to ensure that everyone can gain access to the Anchor system.One of the most impressive facts I feel is that CE now stands at 8,335 in game items with 3,360 craft-able schematics. Plus we retooled the loot system for mining and combat increasing the total amount of in game commodities and resources to a staggering 658!During the last two years we upgraded both Live and Development Servers and even moved over to Discord Recently to bring a fresh breathe of life to the CE community Chat.Finally we should mention that we still stand strong at an average of over 200 Settlements deployed and active and players have been stockpiling Star-base Hubs for a while now ready for the next stage in CE's Evolution.But Evolution comes at a costFor the last Ten Years the income for Core-Exiles has predominantly been through the support of its players. We set up a Support store in the early days that has grown with the game. For the most part we have been lucky that our players (you) have been willing and able to show your support and aid in the growth and day to day running costs of CE.We run top tier Live and Development servers and pay out for advertising each month with various well known advertising agencies. The later is a constant drain on finances, but one that is a necessary evil.Sadly how ever...This last quarter we have seen a steep decline in the support for Core-exiles on a monetary level. This has left us slowly draining the coffers and decreasing our advertising revenue with each month.Prev and I are savvy enough to understand that not everyone can afford to spend out on a browser game each month, but this month sadly only Five players 'so far' have decided to show their support for the game. That's an all time low.This won't cause the game to fold, as we will always find ways to fund the servers themselves, this does however mean that expansions, development and advertising plummet off the edge till normal support is resumed.We are not expecting players to constantly support day in day out. But we do ask that you give the game that many of you obviously enjoy a thought from time to time and spare what you can afford to help support its future.Core-Exiles

Extract the game2. Change the game's chinese folder to folder having only english character for examplec:\games\rotk3. Copy the wzgl-patch.exe file into main game's directory4. Launch the patch file and select the option with ALT+I5. Wait for the patch to finish applying, close the window6. Install locale emulatora: Extract the locale emulator zip fileb: Run le_installer.exe, select install upgradec: When it'll say successfully created, close the window and run legui.exe7. Back to game's directory go to the end by pressing the end key, you will have a chinese executable, press context menu on it, select locale emulator from the menu and select run with application profile8. oh no... no no. Not the talking mp3 players person. That guy's prices are way high for the effort involved.  He's taking mp3 players you can get for about $30 to $40 in the US, putting rockbox on them, and then selling them for roughly double the price. Terrible. It takes roughly 10 minutes to have yourself a fully rockboxed player, maybe about 20 minutes more to generate the voice clips for a music collection and copy them across. With aaron being in the UK, not only would he get ripped off by the guy, he'd have to pay for international shipping, import duties and by the time he's done all that, he could have went and got an ipod touch or something. If I were you, I'd attempt to track something likeThis down.I dunno Why they are so hard to find here in the UK, I can find sansa clips 10 a penny
  on US sites, but they seem to have dried up here.

(SPOILERS)Woo! Just had a pretty epic fight with Irrodium. I started out with Snowmonno, Grandlan and Garganchan, and put some equipment on them to cover some of their vulnerabilities.Tunneled with Grandlan, got a few power kicks in with Garganchan, but it died pretty fast to magic dragon. Snowmonno hit Irrodium with unending curse and fridgid touch. Eventually, I got lucky enough to copy meteor rush from Irrodium, and hit him with that. Brought Thornita in after Garganchan died, and hit him with acid slap until it died. Went through the rest of my team, hitting him until lall I had left was Snowmonno and Grandlan. I had Snowmonno start snowball, and used Grandlan to keep it alive. So glad I kept snowball around. Grandlan eventually died, but by then, snowball was already doing massive damage. I thought I wasn't going to make it, but the last snowball hit did over 100 damage. Haha.

the thing with items is even if there's a little server lag, you won't pick it up in a lot of cases. For some reason, if you simply jump up and down a few times right on the coords of the item, you'll pick it up right away.

Maybe you did, or maybe you didn't, but I can report that I also noticed that the page index was always a letter or two off when going from the index to list entries. Until I hear that the index is definitely fixed, I just use headings. It works.At least using the index doesn't crash the app as it did when Apple first broke it in iOS 9.0.

Hello folks. SLJ, I don't know... Maybe the classic choose the difficult level would do better. Let's say I by accident, take a little longer than expected to solve a pusle, and the game gets easier. You may be thinking how can this happen? I completely agree with that, what I don't agree with is your language towards someone that has done a lot for the audio games community. This is the attitude that drives developers to not develop audio games and do other things instead. Even if we don't like a game we, the players, should be respectfull and point out why we don't like this game instead of just calling it stupidity. Everyone is free to have a bad or a good opinion regarding a game but this opinion shouldn't be put in a harmful way towards the developer, we are a small community and devs should be encouraged to continue producing games not to stop entirely.

there's almost no readme required, tutorial will teach you most of the stuff you need to know, but i'll give overview for the keys.as you know, bk3 has stages, each are 3 levels, including boss level, most of the times, anyway. each level has certain challenges, for example one of them could have a challenge to survive and destroy all enemy's, while another has the same challenge, but with keeping your partner, carla, alive, you won't get to it in quite a while, though.keys:tab, this brings up a status menu, it has options to check your stats, weapons, quit stage, game settings, etc.if you go into status menu, you will see your health, defense, level, your hp, etc etc.q tells your location/how high your up, the first number is your location as you move forward, second number is how high your up, so if you hear 30-0, you'll know that your at 30, and on the ground, because the number says 0.w key is impordent, it allows yo
 u to pick a weapon to use, so if you want to use short sword, you press w, and select short sword from your list.now, picking your weapons could be boring, so if your in the weapon menu, select a weapon, and you can press 1 or 2 on it, it will be set as your favorite weapon, so say you set short sword to weapon 1, next time, you   can just hit 1, and it will be selected for you.e key is not really impordent, but i'll tell you about it anyway, it has a combat log thing where you can see how much damage you did/took, and how much xp you got from the kill. if you press home in the combat log, you'll see your exp and amount of how much you need to level, i said e is not impordent? i lied a bit, it is impordent, later on.r switches the mode on the weapons, only some weapons, though.y tells your movement points, or stamana. it becomes really impordent later on, because some weapons use it, a lot, like the megatun hammer.i is really, really
  impordent if you want to stay alive. it opens your inventory, not all of your items, but items that will heal you such as rice balls, mushrooms, piece of light, etc etc.o key will turn on something called sonar. sonar is a handy thing if you want to know if something is above or to the left/right of you. you cant get it in the beggining of the game, but you can buy it after beeting stage 4.i think that's all for top keys, let's move down a bit.a. allows you to skip through storyline if you have listened through it already or just want to get on with the fighting.s key will bring up your armor menu, if you have any. armors could be really handy, if you select one from your list by pressing enter on it, if you press s again, you'll see how much hp it has left. yes, armors brake. armors have there own hp and defense. and with each hit there hp goes down till it reaches 0. at that time, armor brakes, causing you 30 seconds of penalty not being abl

@Grryf, glad your l9iking the passage, the characters are awesome and very 2D, it's a lovely series for not going as you expect. the only thing I'll warn you of that threw me first time I read the book is that part way through there is a huuuge! time skip and you have to come to know a hole new series of characters. it's not a problem, the new characters (who are actually the ones you spend most of the trilogy with), are just as good as those you've met thus far, and of course you'll be seeing some people again, but it did feel a trifle jarring for a bit first time, albeit i got used to it quickly. I can say the other two books in the series, The Twelve and City of mirrors are just as good as the passage, indeed probably better, although as I had to read them as Cronin wrote them there were fairly big gaps, I only just finished City of mirrors recently, hence why i did a review of it.Dragonlance I'm not sure of, since there are s 
 bmany books, where to start is a bit difficult, plus I've got plenty of very good fantasy to read like Brandon Sanderson at the moment, I am also a stickler for chronological order as well with any series. Oh and btw, if you've not read anything by Sanderson I can highly recommend his books, especially the stormlight archive, ie, way of kings and words of radience (hopefully the third will be out soon),  and his mistborn series that I am reading at the moment, ie, The final empire, the well of assention, the hero of ages, the alloy of law, the shadows of self and the bands of mourning. Sanderson's stuff is always good fun and very readable, albeit I'm not one of these people who thinks sanderson is next to God the way some people do, however his stormlight stuff is absolutely amazing! as is mistborn, which I'm just getting a good idea of second time around.Robin Jarvis stuff is very different from Redwall. They're about animals w
 ho use magic and have war and such, but set in our own world though the animals (mostly mice), have human intelligence and also do a few things like wear clothes. It's odd, in some ways the series is definitely a kids series, it has very black and white villains and some bits that are clearly stuck in for fun, plus they move at a quick pace, however in other ways it really! isn't. This is particularly true in terms of all the blood, guts, gore, death and murders! really i don't think i know that many adult books who have so many cast members die, and what's more die in horrible ways, indeed Jarvis often writes endings that wouldn't be out of place in Game of thrones :d. So yes, definitely a kids series, albeit one which I suspect makes a lot of kids run in terror .I've not read piers anthony, so can't speak for those, and le

I unfortunaytley don't know any books set in egypt specifically which is a shame, since it's an interesting part of the world and having visited there I'd definitely enjoy something like that, though if you want something heavy on egyptian mythos, albeit set in mostly 19th century england (it has time travel), try the anubis gates by tim powers, a very fast, pyrotechnic novel with lots of adventure and action and rather liekable characters plus some awesome plot twists. Liveship I'm afraid is probably my favourite of hobbs series, I liked it rather more than the books with fitz, but then again anything with both pirates and! dragons is sort of written for me . On a very different tack, my lady and I are currently reading another book by David brin. these are scifi with a really unique premise, set in a universe where on
 e species uplifts another, ie, makes an animal into a sentient race through a combination of genetic breeding and training. Humans are unusual in that they have no patron race who uplifted them, and they're very much looked down on by some older galactic clans, ie, patron races and their clients.the really cool thing is that they feature earth animals who humanity has uplifted, so star tide rising which we're reading now, is about a spaceship crewed by humans and intelligent dolphins. Star tide wasn't quite as well paced as the uplift war, but we're now halfway through and everything is coming to a head, plus it's cool to see a starship story where many of the characters speak in dolphin poetry and don't think the way we do. the Uplift war is also worth reading, though I said most of my thoughts on that in the review on fantasybookreview.co.uk. They're not massive military fiction, but if you want some really fun sf 
 with a detailed universe, some great ideas and a rather amusing and quite funny writing style they might be your thing.

Nice change on the pistol Sam, and I also didn't realize that W was also a tracking key.  Only other complaint I have is that the radius of items seems to be really small.  I have circled an item several times, and not picked it up and I know I've been right on top of it.

The aim seems to be to produce really stupidly silly amounts of dragons which let you produce more types of dragons which let you produce even more stupidly ridiculously hugely amazingly insanely large amounts of lower level dragons to produce higher level ones, and so the cycle goes ad infinitum.I pretty much go on just upgrading everything and the numbers don't really mean much anymore, theoretically something new might happen if I get enough mana, but that is the slowest resource to accumulate even with four mage towers and keeping up with the mana speed upgrades, so mostly i am just waiting for mana to fill while going on upgrading the dragon types. I should be getting a new dragon type soon, but really I confess I'm feeling a decided sence of alienation from the game at present, since the numbers are nuts and higher level dragons don't really seem that interesting beyond a line of text and yet more chances to press the upgrade button when the stupi
 dly hugely amazingly gigantically ridiculous numbers get superlative enough . I'm a little sad, I love dragons and a breeding game with them would be just my cup of tea, but this one has more to do with stupidly massive resource timers than actual dragons, you could be waiting for blobs of amoeba to produce more amoeba for all the affect on the actual game the dragons have. As I said, since the actual brain power and time required are low I'll see if anything new does happen, and it's not as if the game was expensive but I can confess to being a little dissatisfied.

because having a lock on system isn't actually as poppular as people think, its one reason why aprone never added it even when people suggested making it togglable. Do you have a problem with aiming accuratly? Use a shotgun or rocket launcher. And there's a reason why the new weapon has as little ammo as it does, but I do agree that its ammo should be nerfed to about 5. Or you could always just have people start out with the knife and the handgun and have weapons be items. Then just raise the ammo count for the handgun a bit so you have more time to find better weapons.

Interesting update to the game, but I think that new pistol is way to overpowered, as one shot kills everything pretty much.   Also, the same complaint I had before still stands.  Tracking and movement keys are really hard to play.  I don't see why you don't use WASD like all modern games do for movement, and leave O as the tracker.  The arrow keys are usually used by the right hand and having to have my ring finger on the up arrow key and tapping O is really irritating.  Also, why don't you use a lock on system like Swamp has for tracking?  Would make it a lot easier to keep track of targets instead of rapidly pressing O.

sam, you should kind of rename the candies to something like stimm packs, adrenalin pills, and change the sound for using them. Candies on a battle field wouldn't make much sence. What would make sence is for pills and neadles lying around which you could use on yourself, because in the u s army they used to and probably still give drugs to their soldiers and pilots before battles.

Mountains are dangerous places, sometimes a wrong step or a sound could trigger a rockslide in real life, this is the game version of that. Playing random sounds on the in game maps that players can get to, like main land, mountain, pine forest, etc. is not allowed. Being able to look at them is very good at that case, because we can see if they are in a building or not, in the ocean, underwater, etc. and can act acordinly. It would be kind of annoying to have to ask people to trust you each time. If we were looking at cheaters, that would be even more problematic (just imagin having to send a pm to a player "Hello, could you please trust me, so I can look at you and see if you are cheating?" Being stuck in unknown areas is also a good reason to have the moving. Just imagi
 n what would happen if admins could only ban and unban, not clear spam accounts, clear items, move people or themselves, look people without trust needed ...It would be a mess. People would be stuck in unknown areas and would have to kill themselves. Cheaters would cheat, unpunished. If someone died do to a bug, admins would not be able to help them. For every "power" that we admins have, there is a good reason. We might be able to do more things from the users, but we are ultimatly to help the userbase, not work against it. Except for spammers, or cheaters. Those are not welcome here, but I'm sure that's the same in most multi players.Akilor's right though. If admins were giving endless amounts of items to players, I'm sure that nobody would complain, even though that actually would be abuse of their powers.
