Re: Warsim, text based randomly generated stratogy @Defender, Glad you like it, I love the nomads because they've got lots of new features added to them that haven't been done in the game before, they are a faction that moves settlement to settlement, also their leader and second in comment plus one other special character appear in brawls in their little brawl pit at random which can be fun and their leader is the single strongest unit in the game after maybe a demon and they have a secret special battle only unit!I am beefing them up even more for the next update where you can pay the nomads in soldiers for tips on the local area and I'm adding a thing they do every three years which is go to the canyons and have a rock-jumping battle to settle disputes, they hop between canyon rocks until one falls off and dies.The changelog was different because instead of separating things by what kind of addition it was ie, main additions, bugfixes, throne room, ect I split it into sort of mini DLC style updates, such as 'this is the nomad update' and 'this is the coastlands update and so on.Can definitely put the site's url after any suggestions that get added, sounds fair to me! Yeah if I ever dabbled with multiplayer it wouldn't be until the game was completed in the far future I'd say, but you are right, couldn't have it detract from the fact it is a singleplayer game and as for the investigation stuff I think beyond asking your guard and maybe a little further I wouldn't have full blown investigations, aside from maybe some kind of expedition or investigation into big world events, ie an independent kingdom has just up and disappeared and you sent a team of people to find out why.@Niklas, Travelling Bards? searched the code but can't find any instance where the ascii isn't blocked, definitely with you 100% on the things with no description though, oversight on my part, I will fix all of those for you now but let me know if there are any that I have missed! you will be credited for what you have found! YouTube now defaults to HTML 5 video playback anyway if it can, so if anything it should work better and be more accessible without flash.For your search engine, focus the search box with CTRL+K, and then start pressing CTRL+Down arrow. After you do, Hit JAWS+Tab to see what the box says. When it says search using Google, you're good. You can also just open Firefox settings and change your default engine from there (tools>options). Yahoo! Has been the default Firefox search engine in a couple of countries, so you probably just got a firefox update that changed it or you accidentally changed it yourself without noticing which has happened to me a few times. The cool thing about making games is that there are so many ways to make something, like cutscenes, maps, battels etc. The developer just has to choose it's best way. I was making a cutscene by writing a function that receives a String parameter for the text, and then waits for user to press Enter to continue. I also wrote a similar function that will play a sound either before or after the spoken text or a certain amount of time. For the longest time Microsoft Security Essentials never flagged anything. Then a couple of weeks ago it flagged Quentin C's playroom client installer as having a virus. I knew it was a false positive, but since I wasn't using it, I went ahead and let Security Essentials delete it.You can, under the Additional Help Topics menu, submit the installer file to Microsoft as a false positive so they can correct the erroneous detection. While Microsoft have done some amazing work with narrator on xbox and windows 10 over all, not every company is going to have the same vested interests. You buy K-cups, which is the coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, put them into the Keurig, put a coffee mug under it, put water in the reservoir, and start it up. Re: Does Anyone Have A Solution to this Problem I'm sorry I don't have a solution to your problem, but experience has taught me to leave the registry alone. Microsoft themselves, the people that know the most about the registry, has never released a registry cleaning tool. My thought is that that's because they themselves have come to the conclusion that there is no safe way to automate cleaning the registry. So their example and advice is to just leave it alone. Ever since I took that advice I've had few system problems, and those that I do have usually turned out to be from poorly written programs with an easy solution, just uninstall the garbage. And i don't think its that they don't care about blind people exactly, they are just like most major companies where they don't really pay too much attention to accessibility to kno what to put in to help. Re: Jaws2018 is out and possible upcoming firefox problem with jaws As many people said in the NVDA vs jaws argumemt we had on here a while back, jaws is really only that price because of all the working and schooling features it has behind the scenes like scripting and office support for all of the microsoft office like powerpoint, exel,, word, outlook and the others. Its designed to be used in an office or classroom where as NVDA wasn't. And at the end of the day jaws is a product, there gonna sell their product. Why do so many blind people think they need everything for free because were blind? Not all the blind community is like this, but a lot of people think that for what ever reason. Not trying to start a flame war by saying this, but seriously, if your in that mind set, get out of it. Most products like jaws, canes, braille displays/note takers cost money, because, their products being developed, and to make more of them or improve the existing versions of these the developers of said products need money to expand their options and improve their products. They also need to live, and if developing jaws or braille displays is all they do, they gotta make a living some how right? I do think that jaws is a little expensive though, not saying its not. There also aren't that many blind people around though so that's gotta be partially why jaws costs what it does. No other software or hardware company does that, even in the assistive technology space.If I had just recently gone blind, and needed to choose a screen reader, and knew what I know now, I'd start off with NVDA and probably never look at JAWS.But things didn't go that way, I learned JAWS first, and have been very happy with it, so I make sure that my SMAs don't lapse so that JAWS only costs me $5 per month to keep up to date. Not like the old Roxio Go Back that Symantech bough and then buried.
