@Afrim, I'm not intending to argue here, I'm just stating my own perspective on the matter which  I will admit has slightly changed as I've had more academic work to do myself. Back when I was an undergrad I had my own issues, not so much with the actual amount of work but generally with how things were distributed, since the final week of each  required six essays all! to be complete, which of course meant a huge scramble each time to get everything done, and I do remember thinking it would've been better to spread due dates throughout the year, this was especially true in my third year where I basically  most  of my dissertation in the last three weeks.Then again it taught me to prepare in advance and take time over things, indeed one of my masters essays I actually misunderstood the due date and got it finished in November instead of december  essentially had an extra long christmas which was very nice,  that was actually back in 2006 when I was checking out every single game on the db here, as well as watching my way through babylon 5, indeed had I actually not! got things in early I might not have played half as many audiogames .

Unfortunately I played for hours yesterday and seem to have buggered up my game completely in the third stage, the moral of the story seems to be  try to figure out complex games while extremely tired from a sleepless night and trust :random guides from redit D. Someone said to put a lot of points into replication for probes early on, but having lots of replication and no combat ability meant that the drifting probes replicated beyond the point I could actually kill them off even when I created probes of my own with nothing but! combat bonuses, so methinks I'll have to restart completely, which is bloody annoying!I will say access on this one is a bit odd, since while all the buttons are certainly  labeled there are a few images mentioned in the extremely comprehensive wiki (one which is virtually a stratogy guide and which I really should've trusted instead of random redits). The biggest issue from an access perspective seems to be quantum computing since there is an image of computer chips which goes dark and light, and you have to wait until it's going light to hit the compute button to maximise your operations. You can get this through the numbers, ie, if you hit the compute button a couple of times and the plusses seem to be going up, hit it a few more times, but it's rather inexact, so I'd recommend ignoring the guides here and actually putting points into processors to get you ops and creativity faster so you  afford upgrades quicker, though don't go above 30 processors.

Very cool guide Nolly, I've added a link to it on the db entry. It's good to know for me since thus far  one attempt at gem cutting didn't go well, though I admit I'm leaving that until I can start on higher level quests, have upgraded gold items and income is a bit more plentiful.one thing I have noticed about lore research though is that if you equip items with lore  you can get more guesses, which is often handy with some of  harder to research items. I'm not %100 sure what the ratio of lore bonuses to guesses is, (maybe something like plus five lore gets you an extra guess), but it definitely is noticeable.It also seems that the game conducts the dice roll for each quest at the time you attempt it, not at the  the quest is actually complete, so as long as you have your best strength/dex/int gear on when you actually begin the quest, it doesn't matter too much if  you change to lore or luck based gear afterwards. I do have one rather odd question though, which is I seemed to unlock the corish raid camp somewhere along the line and when I did some of the quests there I was getting success messages, even though there isn't  anything in my journal about having to go there, I wonder if perhaps I should've done more listening at inns earlier on?

Hi all.Well there is an answer sort of.Can you run jaws on your x box1.If its the movie, the dvd will play if that means can you access its menus select audio description, I am not sure probably not I am unsure.Can you run jaws the screen reader on x box.No you can't, but nvda 2018 when it comes out is a windows app.Since the x box 1 is now a windows 10 based os then you probably could run nvda on it.Weather the interface would work is another thing.Microsoft like changing their so called universal automation interfaces without notice.Nvda and its addons have the best chance of catching up with it compaired to something like jaws but even though its free and opensource they have the same issues.

Hmm, this is quite fun, just grabbed it for my Xbox One and completed the tutorial without the help of OCR... well you can't actually figure it out with OCR anyway because she doesn't "show you how" in text.In the regular game, I've found this whieper dude, somebody with electricity saying "Get over here", but ultimately I don't know what I'm doing. This could easily be fixed though, I noticed that there's a ton of audio queues... menus aren't fully voiced but it's a damn good start, I'd say, and tonight I've been having issues with my OCR connection. May have to put my video output to low in settings perhaps.

mushz will have everything you need already. If you play Altar, this is good, if not, its a big pack to download just for those plugins, I'd just go get them all and install manually only the client.There is a mush pack for CR, but its in a pretty sorry state. I was gonna fix it up when I was playing, but then I sort of stopped playing and now I have no interest in going back.

@21 I've heard of it but yeah that's a bit before my time.@19 go to registry, scan for problems, fix selected issues and then same again when the thing comes up that steps through each one. The problem is that these tools like malware bytes and stuff do work well, but they do best at preventative measures, they don't always do wonderful when you've been infected after the fact. I just don't think the system will ever be right until you format and reinstall.

I decided to write  a simple guide for Lore researching, Gem cutting, and upgrading legendary items as they are the most asked about things about Land of Livia.Lore researching and mini gameLore items are used to either unlock Legendary journal entries that you have learned in towns, or upgrading Legendary items. The higher the page, the higher the percentage of success when unlocking a legendary journal entry. There are four types of Lore items, Tier 1 - 5% Fragments, Tier 2 - 25% excerpts, Tier 3 - 65% Pages, and Tier 4 - 100% Chapters. Upgrading a legendary item takes the Tier 3 - 65% lore page and a regular item of the same slot type.There is a lore researching mini game where you can attempt to combine 3 lore items of the same type to create a single item of the next tier upon success. However, if you fail to win the game, all 3 lore items will be destroyed.I've created a mock mini game to help new players who are unfamiliar with how the game works. Always remember to equip your best lore items, as the higher your lore stat, the more guesses you will be given.For this game let's assume with lore gear we have 13 guesses and are attempting the easiest of the lore items, 3 Tier 1 - 5% fragmements.Guess 1 Rune Alpha - Rune Alpha - Rune Alpha - Rune Alpha = 1 Red marker and zero white markers Guess 2 Rune Beta - Rune Beta - Rune Beta - Rune Beta = zero red markers and zero white markers Guess 3 Rune Gamma - Rune Gamma - Rune Gamma - Rune Gamma = 1 Red marker and zero white markers Guess 4 Rune Delta - Rune Delta- Rune Delta - Rune Delta zero red markers and zero white markers Guess 5 Rune Epsilon - Rune Epsilon - Rune Epsilon - Rune Epsilon = 1 red marker and zero white markers.From this point we can stop trying to find out which markers are in the solution, as we now can easily see that it contains 1 rune of each of the following - Rune Alpha, Rune Gamma, Rune Epsilon, and by process of elimination we also know it contains Rune Zeta.To learn where the markers go we now do this. It is important to use a rune that is not in the solution as it will guarantee that you will learn the proper location of a rune after a few guesses. So from this we can see that if Rune Alpha is the 1 red marker, then Rune Gamma must be the white marker and in the wrong slot.Guess 10 Rune Beta - Rune Gamma - Rune Beta - Rune Alpha = 1 red marker and 1 white marker.This tells us the same as above, but by process of elimination we know Rune Gamma goes in slot 3. The last two runes are going to be fairly easy to properly slot because they can only go in one of two orders, and you will now win in two guesses short of human error.Guess 11 Rune Epsilon - Rune Zeta - Rune Gamma - Rune Alpha = 2 red markers and 2 white markersWe already know Rune Gamma and Rune Alpha are properly placed, so all we need to do now is switch Rune Epsilon with Rune Zeta to win.Guess 12 Rune Zeta - Rune Epsilon - Rune Gamma - Rune Alpha = 4 red markers anda successful game.I took one of the most unlucky solutions for this game taking it directly down to the wire. There are of course other methods but this is what I use. This isn't what you always use as there are games in which certain runes can contain more than one of a type in the solution. This may seem to be more difficult, but it actually saves you a guess if that rune is discovered early on that has multiple markers.I again in no way guarantee this will work for you, and you can even tweek it a bit to work more efficiently, which in many cases is what I do depending on the game. However this was just a very basic demonstration of one method to get used to the game as well as creating your own method.Gem cuttingGem cutting is all about reaction, rytyhm and timing. When gem cutting it is important to note that you shouldn't try to guess and time when the tone will sound to hit it exactly right while using voice over. What I mean is don't sit there and try to anticipate when the tone will chime, pressing cut before you hear the tone

To further accentuate my point and my dislike of the NFB, I will tell you about a brief conversation I had with one of my former teachers of the visually impaired. They are going to be immersed in assisting nursing and assistive living facilities deal with people who do not have adequate vision to function in their environment. While that topic is outside of this scope, somewhere along the trail, they wandered towards a controversial topic involving the attitudes held by a large majority of members of the National Federation of the Blind. It's what was said that I really liked. Let's back up to when we were just young, curious and playful tykes. We probably remember being told, from time to time, 'work together, help others, be kind,' you name it. Sadly, many people have forgotten these truths by the time they reached adulthood.When I went to my first NFB-sponsored event, I was assuming that I would be guided by either a fellow blind person, or someone who had vision. Sadly, that came to naught. I didn't know that nobody thought I had a hearing loss. Those who could see that I wore hearing aids spoke in very arrogant voices, which I took no liking to. Nobody takes kindly to being yelled at, even people with residual hearing, such as myself.When I came back to school, my new teacher of the visually-impaired had informed me that, for better or worse, I should be more interdependent instead of independent. That way, I wouldn't be working all alone for the rest of my life.When my former teacher dropped me off earlier this afternoon, we talked about that very problem. The NFB wants people to be completely independent, all the time, every time. So, the big question is, why? Is it because the NFB is afraid that if society sees a group of blind people being led by a sighted human guide, they would assume people were helpless? Going back to what I said about guide dogs, how do you expect to compare a dog guiding you versus a human?Also, I agree that the stages of blindness, and the stages of grief are all just a pattern of observations that are to be expected in the average human in Western culture. That is not to say, however, that everyone will have these stages in this order. But, at the same time, how you present this information, be it noble or militant, will matter the most, as each and every individual will interpret it differently. It's not what you say, but how you say it.Also, you raised some good points, many of which reminded me of a book I read about a year ago called Out of My Mind, by Sharon M. Draper. So as not to spoil the novel, I will say that it was truly, a moving experience.I may have said this in another post, but I actually have an older brother. He is twenty-five years old. Like Helen Keller, he is totally deaf and totally blind. Unlike she, however, my brother never received formal communication skill, like American Sign Language, or tactile signing until he was much older. This caused him to rage and act out, something which happens from time to time up to this day. I am doing everything I can to get the services he needs so he can at least communicate more effectively.I learned to cope with my hearing loss because that's the only path I have left to take. So, I would want to cure my hearing loss first before I went and cured my blindness. I, too, am an avid musician, and I would hate to lose that ability completely.Sometimes, I just wish I could be whole.

Is it because the NFB is afraid that if society sees a group of blind people being led by a sighted human guide, they would assume people were helpless? Going back to what I said about guide dogs, how do you expect to compare a dog guiding you versus a human?Also, I agree that the stages of blindness, and the stages of grief are all just a pattern of observations that are to be expected in the average human in Western culture. That is not to say, however, that everyone will have these stages in this order. But, at the same time, how you present this information, be it noble or militant, will matter the most, as each and every individual will interpret it differently. It's not what you say, but how you say it.Also, you raised some good points, many of which reminded me of a book I read about a year ago called Out of My Mind, by Sharon M. Draper. So as not to spoil the novel, I will say that it was truly, a moving experience.I learned to cope with my hearing loss because that's the only path I have left to take. So, I would want to cure my hearing loss first before I went and cured my blindness. I, too, am an avid musician, and I would hate to lose that ability completely.Sometimes, I just wish I could be whole.

You might try AdwCleaner, this program is good at getting rid of toolbars and junkware, assuming that's all that's wrong anyway. If any malware got deeper into your system, and Malwarebytes or any other antivirus, for that matter, isn't helping, you'll have to take the plunge as others on this topic have said and do a complete format. Yes, you can reset the OS, especially if you're running Windows 10, but to be extra safe, and if you've got backups, I'd format. That way you know for sure that you're starting out fresh.

At TJT, I always took issue with those three stages that Kenneth Jernigan wrote about. It puts every blind person into a neat little box, trying to dictate how they should react to their blindness. It's not psychologically healthy. Any modern literature on grief, for example, will stress that, while there are five stages that one usually goes through when they lose someone of importance, it's perfectly normal to skip some of them, or stay stuck in any number of them, or not have any discernible pattern at all. So the fact that all blind people are supposed to be timid, aggressive, and then, for lack of a better term, healed, is absurd. I also think, although I could be wrong about this, that it was written in the context of people who go through training at an NFB center. This seems like an extremely rapid progression, to say the least. Anyone who is expected to go through such rapid emotional changes in such a short time is bound to suffer ill effects.As for the debate about one disability being worse than another, I think it's all relative. I couldn't imagine being deaf myself. If I could never hear music again, or the voices of those I love, I honestly don't know if I could cope with that. If I were to get into an accident tomorrow and lose a leg, sure, that would be tough, but not nearly as devastating as taking away the one sense that means everything to me. Yet, you hear all the time, as I said above, about how blindness is the most feared disability of them all. Most people would rather lose a limb or become a vegetable if asked. In theory, anyway, of course.And, had I been born deaf or paralyzed or cognitively impaired instead of blind, this would be a completely different argument too, one that I can't even pretend to understand. Since I went to a school for the blind, and encountered a lot of children who had it a thousand times worse than me in many ways, I gained a lot of empathy. It broke my heart when I would see a kid who was nonverbal, bound to a wheelchair, and blind, and banging on every object within their reach or attacking staff in order to communicate. Even less severe cognitive deficits could easily get you taken advantage of in that environment, not to mention that, in most cases, those kids were there because their families had pawned them off on a system that would get the kids off their hands so they wouldn't have to deal with them. I don't claim to be a martyr, nor am I saying that having one disability necessarily attunes you to the suffering of others. That's how it worked for me, and, as I said, even in my darkest hours when the only thing I could think about was wanting, needing to get out of my current situation, there were two things that made me hold on. One of them was seeing how others were treated, and how they couldn't express their needs in the usual ways, and I couldn't imagine what that would be like.

I decided to write  a simple guide for Lore researching, Gem cutting, and upgrading legendary items as they are the most asked about things about Land of Livia.Lore researching and mini gameLore items are used to either unlock Legendary journal entries that you have learned in towns, or upgrading Legendary items. The higher the page, the higher the percentage of success when unlocking a legendary journal entry. There are four types of Lore items, Tier 1 - 5% Fragments, Tier 2 - 25% excerpts, Tier 3 - 65% Pages, and Tier 4 - 100% Chapters. Upgrading a legendary item takes the Tier 3 - 65% lore page and a regular item of the same slot type.There is a lore researching mini game where you can attempt to combine 3 lore items of the same type to create a single item of the next tier upon success. However, if you fail to win the game, all 3 lore items will be destroyed.I've created a mock mini game to help new players who are unfamiliar with how the game works. A couple things here. I don't like that when lord of the undead goes off, you get no xp for the kill. I guess it sort of makes sense though since it's an instant kill, but it seems kind of silly to have a knock down drag out fight with a dragon or something and ultimately get nothing for it. Also, I don't know if anyone else is as nuts as I am, but I've gotten far enough in that all my attributes are at max, so attribute points don't do me much good. It would be nice to be able to exchange the extras for expertise points.

Hey, I'm trying to find something I mentioned on here a while back. It was a hitbox displayer for street fighter that worked by analysing both the pixels and the memory addresses to figure out where to draw hit boxes, eh then modified it to use the same techniques to figure all the menu text and expose it to screenreaders. Any ideas?

This is something I've been meaning to get around to for my blog with some help from a former instructor of mine who is a professional percussionist. Unfortunately, I'm still trying to straighten out some technical issues that need to be resolved so I can properly present the info I want to show for braille music notation. Once this is done though, will definitely include percussion notation in the tutorials, and we would eventually like to put together an accessible list of drum rudiments. Nice to know there's someone else out there interested, which gives me more motivation to get this done as soon as possible!

This is something I've considered implementing on the site I run my music tech accessibility blog from. However, I won't be able to get around to it until my current hosting plan runs out this summer and I make the switch to one that could better accommodate something like this. If there's enough interest for this, will definitely take it into consideration. But as was posted above, there are already tons of groups on Facebook for this sort of thing. I'm in quite a few local ones and have had great success, including finding my current writing and performing partner for an acoustic duo I'm in, and I've even found a couple international groups that are good. The key is finding one that has the necessary rules in place that keep the group from turning into a giant mess of shameless plugs for gigs or new releases. The best groups, in my experience, limit self promotion to a certain number of posts per week or month, and that usually makes way for a great community of people who are eager to find others to be creative with.

well unfortunately little after the horse has bolted in this case but I have my OS on one drive and everything else on another which makes it really easy to make a system image. I do this once a week. delete the old one, make a new one then if my system goes totally fubar I can do an image restore which takes about 15 minutes and totally wipes the system drive and replaces all the data exactly as it was when the backup was taken.well worth the time and buggering about. if you only have one drive to play with it's easy enough to partition it so you have a small partition for system drive and your d drive or what ever it'll be will have tons of space on. then set your documents, downloads etc to save to the secondary partition. works a treet.also, you didn't say if you tried malware bytes. that usually gets rid of pups and stuff like that. there is a toolbar remover as well that gets rid of addons for internet explorer but I can'r remember what it's called. i'll look and see if I still have a copy.

Something that does this dependency bullcrap automatically. Instead of downloading the one thing you need, only to be sent on half a dozen fetch quests to get its dependencies, installing the one should check for the others, and offer to automatically get them if they aren't already installed. Less time questing, more time creating._javascript_, as a language, is easy. _javascript_, as something to make games with, is like having to build a whole woodshop, when all you get for free is a mallet and a tape-measure. And also, you have to design your products to fit with certain other products, which disqualifies them from fitting with some other products, but only some of the time, and depending on what month of what year it is.Gah I wish console development was something resembling affordable. You get 5 years of consistency, and largely generalizable tools that are easy to find. Shame about the outrageous licensing fees and inaccessible development environments. Also the fact that there are 2-3 competing consoles at any given time, and people still on old consoles, but at least it's less chaotic than web development, pre and post "W3c standards alike.

Glad people like the page. I will say I don't seem to be experiencing the battery issue, and i have had Land of Livia running for a long while, on the other hand this is on my Iphone 8 that I only bought last month. Btw what is it with all the maps? Is there some superstition about showing a hole location on a map or something? Or did the sorceress get really! irritated with her tom tom not giving her the right directions so cursed anyone who tried to draw a map of more than one square mile.Hay maybe that's why she's monkeying with the weather, she's trying to get a good wifi signal .I do have one miner niggle with theb game, though I'm still very absorbed. First, it'd be nice if the game could mark items to say they're in the best strength/int/dex set, since while you can have items ordered by stats, as your effectively managing three sets of gear it can happen that you get a better item in one stat and then accidently ditch part of your other suit by mistake. It is also mildly confusing in that the alert you get warning you your about to get rid of one of your best items seems to trigger for quite a few things, indeed one simple way to solve the problem is for the alert to say which set the "best item" belongs to, for example "your about to get rid of your best lore item"I assume that as the game is able to auto equip your best gear anyway this should be relatively doable, though if not fair enough, I confess eq balancing is never my favourite part of rpgs anyway.

Did you or your friend try using the option to redirect the port with UPNP? It's in the online menu, I find that if I don't use that one myself then even though I've allowed Crazy party through the firewall  online mode just plane won't work.

51 nailed it. I completely agree. As an example, take a company like Degoo. They offer backup services and allow your computer to back things up to their cloud. Guess what, though? They do a side-service, using your CPU power too. What does that CPU power do? It mines script-based currencies. They tell you exactly what your processor does at http://support.degoo.com/customer/en/po … ime-mean-. This company doesn't even tell you what your processor is doing. And what's worse is that it's hard to track what it's doing. A tool like Procmon and a little tool I wrote to translate CSV logs of Procmon's activities into simple, easy-to-read formats won't help you either because you'd need to track *everything*. And that can generate half a billion events in less than 10 seconds.

Hey Omar, if you are still working on offensive world, I really enjoy the game.it's a great time waster, but there are some annoying bugs that are preventing me from wanting to play it because it's not fair. They have to do with your walking speed. I am pretty sure you designed it so that as you get more metal, you are slower, and dropping metal on the walls or getting motivation increases is supposed to offset that. One bug is that you can press enter anywhere, and your speed will increase as if you had actually dropped something, so you can spam enter anywhere to ignore the encumberance and go at maximum speed all the time. The other thing is that motivation doesn't seem to do anything at all. Also, even with the speed bugs, it's almost impossible to survive 10 minutes on the pro level so maybe you should change the name of it to say like, survive 8 minutes and send a recording, or make the raiders less aggressive. Fully abusing the speed bug I was able  to reach 9:02 survival time, usually I am at around 7 or 8 minutes. It would be cool to track the longest amount of time you've survived on each level. Also, a more advanced enhancement would be fading the music in and out based on the health instead of just stopping and starting the different tracks, which can be very abrupt and jarring. Other than that it's a great game!

You want to go back outside from those 2 doors on the east and west, remember that rooms can have more than 1 way into them and not necessarily all from the same place. Keeping a grid in your head of where everything is can be pretty useful, both there and later.

Hi all! I have a problem with the online mode of crazy party. I wanted to battle online with a friend, so I created a public server and i gave permission to the game to bypass the firewall. But my friend couldn't connect to it. So we reversed our roles: he created the server and I couldn't connect to it. This is strange, because we are both able to connect to other server without any problem. I'm running windows 7 64 bit and he's running windows 10. Can you help me? Thanks!

I'm arguing that its a lot more difficult than windows, and not as intrinsically workable.Were I to grade the applications I've tried using, it'd be about two thirds as accessible as windows, and not always cut and dry (bleachbit, for instance, looks accessible but then you can't actually select any of the checkboxes for what you want it to clean). I could point out a couple more examples of software I use on a regular basis that didn't work under mate for similar reasons. This doesn't mean there aren't solutions, because there are. They require more research and work to figure out, which is not user-friendly if you're new to the OS, and especially so if you just converted a primary machine, because some of the aforementioned challenges are in web browsers.@Angel:Which processes are using up your CPU? If you can detect those, you can figure out how to get rid of them, which should fix your machine. The symptoms you're describing are clasic "I'm-doing-to-much-at-once" complaints. Do you have AVG, Norton or MCAfee antivirus installed? If so, removing them may solve the problem (windows 10 comes with defender, and multiple antivirus products installed at the same time can cause conflicts).

Another way of doing that is by using media player classic home cinema. Go to a folder, open the first file with that, then press page down and page up within the application to have the rest of the sounds in the folder played to you as you go.

Well, I just reinstalled windows, nvda and resource monitor for nvda and it is at almost 80 percent of ram and processor power without running anithing new.And it makes a verry weird sound from the back, like it is trying to survive or something.
