Hi everyone.  If my computer allows it, I should have a recording of the game's opening and first dungeon next Friday.  In the mean time can anyone suggest a candy that can give one a chill?  The only one I can think of is "Yourk peperment paddies", and I am trying to avoid using the candies I used in cc1.  I also need to come up with candies that in the game could deal a shock, as well as candies that can deal direct fire, or and earth type damage.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks again.

Hi everyone.  First of all I want to thank everyone for there sugggestions for candy.  I will work on implementing every suggested item.  Dark: while playing cc1 you can press left shift plus the s key to bring up a list of all the monsters in the current map, use the left and right arrow keys to switch between monsters that are still alive.  This was originally designed as a debugging feature, and I never took it out.  Unfortunitly I have lost the code for cc1, and so I want to make cc2 a far better game.  As for cc1's category, I have always seen Candy Crashers as a survival stratagy game.  Please keep those suggestions coming.

It makes very little difference whitch character you play as, because the controls are the same for their moves regardless of witch character you have.  It all comes down to whose voice you like to hear.

Hi ZK.  I just tested summoning gemini elf and having the computer summoning mechanicalchaser, and I got no error when the computer attacked.  Whas there any facedown cards on either side?  OH btw, you can not activate a trap card you set on your turn.

Thanks ZK, I'll take a look at the monsters you mentioned.  I have only tested the game with NVDA and JAWS, so I don't know if it will work for anything else.  I need to know if you were able to set vorse raider to "tribute" status.  To tribute a monster move to it in the monster field and press t.  The game should tell you the monster is ready to be sacrificed, and you can check this by pressing s to hear the monster's status.  I still don't know what is going on with thunder dragon's ability, but I will look into that.  For any runtime errors, keep track of what is happening, and let me knw so I can fix them.

ZK: when you play a monster card the game askes if you want to summon the monster faceup yes or no.  To summon a monster in attack mode select yes, and for defence mode select no.  As for your second post, I need to know what monsters you and the computer summoned.  Thanks for letting me know about this, I thought I had covered all attack phase problems.

hay everyone, I have uploaded a new version of the yugioh duel simulator.  It can be downloaded at https://www.sendspace.com/file/qu0vb5.  New in this version.  I have added keys to check a monster's attack, defence, and level.  I have added a key to check how many cards have been added to the main deck and fusion deck.  I have also fixed a bug in the player's hand where on the first turn the player would have only 6 cards, but the game thought they had 7.  I have also fixed a bug in the monster reborn card, and I hope that is all the bugs with that card lol.  If I forgot to remove some of my debugging code, I'm sorry about that, and I will remember to remove it for the next update.  As alwayse I look forward to hearing from you guys about any problems with any cards, or any suggestions as to how the dueling system can be inproved.  Happy dueling.

hay everyone, I'm sorry, but it is going to take a little longer to get the demo out again.  I now have it to where the duel will start, the player is able to summon any level 1 - 4 monster, is able to set any trap face down, and proceed through the other phases.  I am however having trouble pulling off an attack when there are no monsters on the apponent's field, equipping any equipment card, and doing any damage.  I will keep pluging away at it.  Once more I'm sorry this is taking so long.

flame_elchemist: in the game Yu-gi-oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul (the game this is ported from) the god cards were not playable, they could oly be collected.  Since this is a test of the playable cards, I did not add them.

Hay everyone, time for an update.  I have now finished more of the cards in this yu-gi-oh game.  I only have 51 mor cards to code.  I have also finished coding the player's standby phase.  I think I have finished the attack phase as well, but I will need to check on that later.  The main phase is finished for a human player, but I need to decide how to code a computer players ai for that phase.  I will keep you all up to date on my progress as I continue to work.  Thanks all.

Hay everyone. I just wanted to let you all know I am making slow progress through all the effect monsters for this Yu-gi-oh game. I am very sorry it is taking this long to complete.  I promise I will finish this game and get it out to you all.  One thing I have discovered with this process is that I will not be able to add any cards that are not in the game I am porting.  The reason is that the way I found I had to code this game requires me to imbed more cards then I thought I would have to into functions like the summon, and attack function.  so I have no plans to add any cards from gx or 5ds.  Sorry about this.  Talk to you all later.

The game is based on the gameboy advance game "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul". You will be able to select a starter deck when you start a new game, but you will need to win duels to get booster packs for more cards.

I know magic the gathering a little bit.  I would love to make an accessible engine to play this game.  The only problem I would have is I can not add online capability to my games yet.  I think at the same time I could create a port of a Yugioh game released for the Nintendo Gameboy advanced called "yougioh - eternal duelis soul" if anyone wants to play it.  I can get the list of cards used in that game to start with.  If anyone has a list of the mtg cards and rools for each set, I could make that.

Hi everyone, this is Nina0116.  I have been out of the loop for a while, so I thought I would give an update on the status of skyline audio games.  The good news is I got a new laptop, so I now have internet access with a computer.  The bad news is that the computer with all my original code is still dead.  Until I can get it up and running again, I will not be able to work on "the elementals tournament", any updates or bug fixes to "candy crashers", or continue work on "candy crashers 2".  I hope to resolve this problem either this month, or early next year.  In the mean time, I have started work on a new project, just to keep my self from going crazy, and to keep my designing skills up to date.  Even though I can't work on cc, or tet,"if there is something you would like to see in one of my games, leave a post here, or e-mail me at "lsr...@aol.com".  Do not private message me, as I don'

Hi everyone Im sorry Ive been out of touch for so very long Ive just been moving around and I just got back but now I I still do not have access to my computer properly I didnt have to throw it out like I thought I would but I did have to unplug it Ive lost the power cord and I dont have regular Internet access Im using a new iPhone that I got so I can do this on however I have not abandoned the elemental tournament

hay every one. It is time to decide on the style for Candy crashers 2. the voting for the styles break down like this. Tied for last place with 0 votes are fighting, and other. In third place with 1 vote, original. In second place with 5 votes, action, and finally in first place with 8 votes, rpg. So Candy crashers2 will be a rpg in a style symoliar to Entombed. Just a quick note, the votes for rpg are actually 7 instead of 8. Inorder to see the results I had to place a vote, and rpg was I selected. This however did not mean I had a preference. I will start on the design for this game after I finish up the elementals tournament upgrade. I am not sure when this will be, I have an upheavle coming in the next few weeks, and I dont weather or not I will need to through out my computer. However I am backing up all my code for just such possibility. T

dingo, I am curious, will enemies be weak to certain spells? In entombed every thing seemed to fall, or at least take a lot of damage from ice blast. While fire bolt even at level 5, and casted by a powerful mage class did little damage at all.

This is a good idea. I tippicly watch lps where the player reads the dialog, and most other text that appears on screen, but there are some games I have watch that I dont quit understand because the screen it self is not described.

I would really look forward to a new entombed game. I really liked the original game, but it did get a little borning, even with all the split paths. I would have liked to add my own monsters, and or skills to the game, so this sounds like a great idea.

If you are looking for an Infocom game to try with out using hints, try out moonmist. This was my first game, and is the one that got me hooked on Infocom games. The game is still not easy, but I dont remember any guess the verb problems.

you simply put string in brick, then drop brick, then burn string. I am suprized that this puzzle is concittered difficult, as I thaught of this solution the first time I played. However to be fair, I did die when the hole ledge colappased.
