Windows 10 update 2004 ruined my computer!!! Hello all,I am using a casper n310 tablet. A few weeks ago, windows 10 update 2004 became available for my tablet which I use for education perposes, and I installed it via windows update.At first, everything seamed fine, but one or two days later, when I opened the pc again, it became clumsy. For example, even though I was connected to wifi, it wouldn't connect to netflix or edge would crash at the end of a download when it was supposed to scan the file for malware and warn me.So I thought of checking for updates, and it found 10 or 15 driver updates. I installed them, I didn't have any doubts because it was coming from windows update, and it had to be harmless. However, I wish I wouldn"t have touched the updates at all!After a reboot, I noticed that there was no sound. Upon asking my father, he told me that an x icon was on the sound icon and it was off. He clicked the icon and the computer tried to troubleshoot, but it said that it couldn't detect the problem.A thought occured to me, however. If I paired the pc with my mother's bluetooth headphones, then the sound would come back.In deed it did. And I reset the computer with local reset, but it didn't work. Later on I noticed that there was no battery icon on the notification tray and the touch screen wasn't working anymore.So, is simply downgrading to 1909 going to solve the problem or is something more serious at play here?And, withought forgetting, I tried to find intel sound drivers for my computer, but all the websites did were to either offer driver pack solutions or driver update utility, which I don't trust at all.I'm sorry that it was a long post, but I use this tablet for education as I stated above and this is very urgent. Hello,As a user of windows 10 with narrator on a daily basis, I can tell you that narrator's performance depends on the ram and the specs of the computer which runs it more than NVDA, but it is ok anyway. I upgraded my Lenovo laptop which came with windows 8.1 to windows 10 myself and I managed the learning curve fairly well in my opinion. Now, I have two computers which run windows 10. One of them is a casper tablet like thing with a keyboard. I use it for school and I use office with narrator. It works very wel except in very large documents, in that case it slows down to a crawl, but anyway, it's nice in my opinion.I only use NVDA to play games or to click somethings with the mouse, because narrator cannot move the mouse around the screen and make it click. I use narrator for everything else.Sorry, it has been a very long post, but thanks for reading anyway. Internet explorer stops working in computer running windows 7 32-bit Hello,Internet explorer stops working in my computer which has windows 7 32-bit, 1 or 2gb of ram I don't know exactly and Intel atom processor. I mean when a website contains too much elements it cust tops working and enters into a loop where it tries to recover the webpage a couple of times then displays a webpage recovery error. Mobilla firefox doesn't stop working but I want to use internet explorer simply because it is a product of microsoft and comes on board with windows 7 by default and it has sound effects.So can you help me to fix this problem? The troubleshooters for internet explorer performance etc are all gone for some reason. I tried to clean the cache, the temporary files etc but they all didn't work. I wonder if I clear the browser history would it work? I tried to reset internet explorer without removing personal data but it has failed to work as well.Thanks in advance. Switching to android for iOs? Hi,When support my phone, iPhone se ends, I think about switching to android, but my friend told me she was having serious problems with talkback. For example, if someone sends her a link on whats app, talkback wouldn't read it, and it would begin to speak whenever she tries to send voice messages. She has low vision and she uses talkback to just read messages that are written. And she told me talkback wouldn't read google chrome very well. I got feedback from two other friends. One of them told me it was fine and the other of them told me google chrome would work well with talkback if I get used to it. My first friend who has negative experience uses a Samsung Galaxy s4 mini and android 5.1. One of my other friends who ha s positive experience uses a general mobile with android 6 or so I can't remember right now. The reason I wanted to switch is I am tired of apple's restrictions and the stupid bugs that come after each major update. I think apple slowly began to get bad after Steve Jobs died. I don't want to offend anyone who uses iPhone like me and likes it. I know that it is accessible and fast. I will already switch to Android after support for iPhone se ends as I told above.Sorry for the very long post, I just want your feedback with talkback. Removing mcafee Hi,My pc came installed with Mcafee web security live or something like that but I can't remove it. There is a pane in the uninstaller but nothing else. I think there is a firewall, too. because it blocks btsync and windows firewall says mcafee is handling those settings. As a last resort, I will delete the program from the program files folder.Please help. Mcafee uninstaller asks for an image captcha. I really don't know what to do. Re: old microsoft sapi5 voices on modern windows sapi5 on NVDA doesn't work. I'm using windows 10 64-bit and when I choose sapi5 NVDA gives a synthesizer error. I uninstalled the sapi5 voices app with programs and features but it's the same. E-speak for 64-bit pcs? hi,Is there any way that I can use e-speak with narrator or with SAPI 64-bit speech applet? I really want to use e-speak with narrator on my pc which is running windows 10 64-bit. Btw, I know about the 32-bit speech applet but I can't be bothered to explore so much directories to just select a voice. Also It is temporary and it reverts back to what is selected in the 64-bit speech applet after some time.Thanks in advance. can't use the Facebook on windows 10
can't use the Facebook on windows 10 hi,I can't use the FAcebook app on windows 10 anymore. When I go into the app, I can't focus anywhere with the keyboard and when I try to focus with the NVDA review cursor, there are two edit fields but I can't focus on them. I tried to physically move the mouse and I tried to use narrator but it didn't work either. The same thing also happens in the Messenger app, too.I really want to use those apps again.Thanks in advance.
