I actually tried using IE with a virtual machine running XP. You'd be amazed how much of the web was not usable.

Re: Anyone Else Having This Site Issue using IE?

@8, of course they can, assuming by older operating systems you mean Windows 7 or 8.1. If someone is still using XP or earlier, it's kind of their own fault if they can't access modern browsers/sites, and, frankly, that should be the least of their worries. There have been a barrage of warnings both about the security issues that running such out-of-date systems pose, as well as there being ample warning in most cases that support for these OS's was going to be phased out. Since I highly doubt the average home user is running some sort of POS system that would cause a Y2k-style blackout if it were to go offline, I think it's about time they stop hiding behind flimsy excuses and make life easier on themselves by upgrading. The headaches caused by trying to finagle such old software into some semblance of working order surely outweigh the hours or possibly days one might spend getting used to a new way of doing things, not to mention that there are ways to make your OS behave like the old days for the most part.

I am moving away from IE.  I just find the issue fascinating.  I can move away from IE with no issue.  Folks with older PCs may not be able to as readily, however.

I hate to sound like one of these, but you may want to also consider moving away from IE.

I don't get why it is missing either, but trying to put in https does no harm. As for the other issue, try maximizing window.

Make sure your zoom level is set to 100% in IE. I think the page changes if it thinks you're on a mobile browser or something.

Re: Anyone Else Having This Site Issue using IE?

Burak,I'm not sure why HTTPS is being removed from the URL based on where you log in.  And that doesn't address why the home page is missing links in IE.  For example, I see no log in link, no search link, and a couple of others are missing.  The page should display exactly the same, no matter what browser is being used.  Links shouldn't be missing simply because I opened IE instead of chrome.  That makes no sense.  Add to that the fact that post #2 says that they have the same issue in chrome with respect to login, and there's apparently an issue somewhere in the code.

Anyone Else Having This Site Issue using IE?

I suppose I could have put this in site feedback, but honestly I am not sure how much that particular board is monitored.  When I click "log in", I am taken to the login page.  Fine.  After entering username and password, however, I get the following:HTTP400 bad request.  The page could not be found.  The url that my address bar shows is:http://forum.audiogames.net:443/login/?login=1When I return to forum.audiogames.net, I appear as logged in.  I tried this on chrome, and the URL is slightly different after login, this time with no failure:https://forum.audiogames.net/?login=1So it appears that the port 443 request is gone from the URL in chrome, and an extra /login/ has been removed.  Weird.  Why are different browsers pointing to different URLs?  Also, some of the links that are normally visible on the home page aren't there when using IE.  In chrome the page displays fine.  Just bizarre.
