Re: Some urgent help needed in audacity Hi folks, apologies if this is a rather obvious question, but I tried installing Dear VR Micro to be able to simulate 3D audio, and I’m having some trouble with using it. I’ve ran the provided .exe file, installed the thing, cracked open Audacity, and realized that I’ve got no clue how the plugin is meant to work with Audacity. To clarify, I didn’t see the plugin appear in either the enabled effects list, or the menu to enable new plugins. The Manual for the plugin just instructs to run the EXE file, and then you’ll be able to apply VR micro’s effects. Is it a case that the plugin just can’t be used with Audacity, or am I just not getting how this is meant to work? With NVDA, it also has the nice side affect of reading how many items are in the combo box. Could be that there's 0 (no attached or builtin microphone). I can not cycle through the choices in the combo box which lets me choose my microphone and camera. I press enter and it just says expand collapse. That is, changing a parameter of a track or plugin over time. Yes, you should be able to use Sennheiser's Ambeo Orbit in Audacity, but where you set it is where it stays. Also, since Audacity is a destructive editor, the changes that you make will be baked into the audio. Some urgent help needed in audacity Hello all.As the title says, I need some rather urgent assistance for a project that I am working on, which is due to be completed within a week. Essentially my main problem lays in how to go about making audio pan, both in a horizontal and vertical fashion, in audacity. With what I’ve been able to find on the internet, the envelope tool should take care of my panning issues, at least as far as horizontal panning is concerned. However, after some experimentation in Audacity itself, I was unable to figure out how to use the tool, and as far as I’m currently aware, it is either inaccessible, or I’m just not getting how you’re supposed to use it .If this tool isn’t accessible, is there a work around in the form of a plugin, or if it is usable, how do you work with it?Secondly, I would like to find a way how I could simulate audio moving in a vertical fashion, for example an elevator descending from the top of the stereo field down to the bottom. I don’t think that there is a way how I can accomplish this in standard audacity, so if you guys could point me to a plugin which can help me achieve this, that would be very much appreciated. Hmm, that's strange, i also use classic shell like Haily and there is nothing wrong on my side. from where you downloaded it, it could be that oyu have a virus or something, i remember that there was an infected version 3 years a go and it had a virus that could corrupt your MBR on restart. Try hard to find vocational rehabilitation centers near by even if you need to enlist the help of others in that search, and do not hesitate to call more generalized assistance programs that could refer you to their more specialized sisters if needed.They may be called just that, (Voc Rehab) or they could also be called commissions for the blind, disability resource centers, ETC, and could also be connected to places that run programs for veterans, seniors, or unemployment assistance.Just, try to find something that applies to you the most, so that you don't have to waste time getting referred back and forth.Other options include reaching out to your local Lion's or rotary club and other such community centers, local churches, or contacting the NFB, AFb, or ACB directly.I suggest writing down exactly what you need so you can easily quote it back and not forget it (people who know what they want are easier to serve) and when ever possible, use the phone rather than emails and don't wait for them to call you back if they are taking longer than what you think is reasonable, even if you have to use direct extensions and leave voicemails.Inform anyone who may pick up the phone in your absents how important this is and that you want them to write it all down if possible, and if you need a ride somewhere, swallow your pride and work through the awkwardness to get what you need, even if it's the pastor's sister or that teacher you got along with in high school.Your trying to do the right thing and move your life forward by going to school, they will understand. It's much easier to help someone when they've given you a show of faith by helping them selves as well.The worst thing to do (though it's easy as hell to fall into) is to start believing that this problem is unsolvable or will eventually fix it's self, and start dragging your feet.It's vital that you be on top of things if you want anything to change. Urgent help needed!
Urgent help needed! Yesterday I stuck it into the SD card slot on my Windows 7 laptop and was able to browse the pictures without a problem. I rotated some of them using the default photo viewer, and it said "saving" when moving to the next picture in the slideshow.At the end of the day I pulled the card out of the slot. Today when I put it back in the computer, it says the card isn't formatted. The camera says the same thing.Is there any chance that I could use some kind of recovery tools to get the pictures back? I'm not sure why you're having problems.Someone on another thread mentioned something about keeping your clock synced.To do this, you need to make sure the clock is synchronised to a time server, I think mine's set to time.windows.com.It's pretty straight forward, and can be found in the date and time settings.This is for windows, no idea how Mac does things.I'll leave that to the Mac users to explain.I do wonder what the clock has to do with BT Sync though. Line in jack issues urgent help needed! So I've been wanting to record some games, as well as a few other things through line in... yet my line in jack doesn't seem to be working. Whenever I plug in something to any of the speaker or mic jacks on my computer the realtech hd audio manager comes up and lets me select then configure the device. I searched a lot on Google to see if anyone have any solutions, but I couldn't find anything.If your friend is lucky, very lucky, it's only the language inside Windows which has been changed. That means he should be able to get some sighted help, and press f8 when booting up the machine to do a system restore.I was thinking about warning others from doing that right after I did the same by axident, but the thing is, when it's done, then it's done, and you can't easily change it back. I also searched for any command in the run dialog to open up the language preferences, but couldn't find anything. If that was possible, a sighted person might be able to mess around with things until he/she have found the list of languages.I really hope your friend is able to get the language changed without reformating the system, because that would suck!If you or others find any solution, I would love to hear about it.
