Re: [SlimDevices: Audiophiles] Bought a New Dac but had a problem
Have you checked the postage cost to Europe? I'm just sending a package to England and the cheapest rate for a packge over 8 ounces and up to 32 ounces is $22.50. ftlight's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5294 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106459 ___ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles

They will pay return shipping I'm sure as it was an honest mistake, but I think you are being rather difficult if you are going to invoice them for returning it when you're not offering an easier collection choice. I understand your frustration, but mistakes are easy to make and they made only one. [SlimDevices: Audiophiles] DietPi now has Roon Install Available
This is great if you have Roon audioplayer. -DietPi-Process_Tool | Added support for RoonBridge: ~~ Dietpi is the best RaspberryPi [arm board] OS I've found so far, the automation, tweaks, ease of use, update-ability, size, available software and stability are all top notch. As for Roon, I tried it but I can't see paying $500 for some software that sounds the same as Squeezelite/LMS. Basically imo the cost is just for the flashy and crowed interface. Either way give Dietpi a try, you'll love it. He sent it regular post so I don't think he's willing to spend a lot on UPS, DHL etc. Where I live the postal people are very VERY undependable [even for delivering mail] if they say pick up at 10a you will be lucky if its before 2pif at all. The product needs to be sent to Europe from the US so declarations etc. need to be made. This means I can't just drop it in a box and walk away, I have to actually stand in a line and answer the declarations questions ie [no bombs, batteries, flammable stuff etc]. Which means I have to wake up early Sat. morning to be the first one at the post office -or- I'll have to wait in a Long Long Long very slow line. edwardthern's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66099 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106459 ___ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles

They want me to send the other product back, of course they have to pay the shipping fee, but should I charges a "Service Charge" for me going out of my way to take it to the post office?
