[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Error "RECID exists twice" when upgrading to Axapta 3.0SP4

2005-06-16 Thread hwimmer
Hi
I tried to install Axapta 3.0 SP4. I wanted to do it like that (the
way I did it a thousand times before starting fom Axapta 2.1):

* Copied an existing 3.0SP3 application in a new directory
* Deleted all non-standard *.aod files and all index files
* Duplicated database
* Copied all necessary files from SP4 directories (to appl and bin
folders)

After starting Axapta pointing to the SP4 application, I get the error:
"The field RECID exists twice in SYSRECORDLEVELSECURITY (ID 61442 and
65534) You must remove or delete one of those fields."

As of course I cannot enter the system to do that or couldn't even do
it as it is a system table, what should I do?

Best regards
Helmut

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] EP Web- How to show personalize and blank login.

2005-06-16 Thread Sonny Wibawa Adi
Hi all,

I made a bussiness connector using COM+ and I created
a web site of enterprise portal. When I tried to login
to enterprise portal, it showed only menus and I have
seen before that after we log in, there is a
personalize link and some informational box is shown,
like News, Frequent link, Outlook task, etc.
How to show that and show personalize link?

I have another query on enterprise portal. My system
is Windows XP Professional No SP and IIS 5.1. I tried
to create a new enterprise portal in my computer, but
when I clicked login button, it showed the same login
page except that there were no login button and no
editboxes (username and password).

Thanks,

Sonny Wibawa Adi

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] MSSQL Licensing

2005-06-16 Thread Игорь Ильяшенко

Hi
All!

Can anybody
answer me such a question... When I purchase, for example, 25 Axapta user
licenses do i need to buy 25 MSSql user licenses?
Is the
dependence in licensing SQL when I use 2-tier or 3-tier
Axapta?

PS I now about
MS SQL Processors license - I'm intrested exactly in user
license

Thanks.

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] upper limit of open cursors

2005-06-16 Thread Stefan Heidkamp
Hi all,

we use Axapta 3.0 SP3. Lately we get the following error sometimes:

'Microsoft Business Solutions-Axapta's upper limit of open cursors has
been exceeded (90). Use the -OPENCURSORS parameter, or modify the X++
code.'

Now the error appears when a user generate a new customer and want to
save the customer.

Does anyone know this error? How can we solve the problem?

Many thanks in advance.

Stefan Heidkamp

You
dont have proper permissions to process the cube, Go to cueb roles for that
particular cube and attach the user name on which you are logged in on client
and then try to process the cube.

Best
Luck
