Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Issue with Data migration Tool kit - Unable to install (Need help - Urgent)

2010-03-25 Thread Arijit Basu
Hi Arun,
  I had faced similar problems. The issue is that your AD policy does not
allow you to create shared folders or share folders on your laptop. Check
with your AD Admin. When this tool is installed, it creates shared folders.
Now since this is not being allowed by your local policy, the installation
fails.
Hope it helps.

use the Query Analyzer to view the table.

Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Minimum Order Quentity

2007-12-13 Thread Arijit Basu
Hi Subhajit,
   Not aware of such a base functionality but with some tweaking you can
achieve this.
   Open this  --> \Classes\InventOnhand\checkItemDraw

Add the following 3 lines of code in the above class as shown in highlighted
in the correct place:

*InventSumDelta inventSumDelta;
InventQty  availPhysPost;
InventQty  availPhysDelta;
;
if (! _negativePhysical)
{

**//===
if((this.availPhysical() >= (-_inventQty)) &&
(ReqItemTable::find(ItemId,inventDimId).MinInventOnhand)
&& (ReqItemTable::find(ItemId,inventDimId).MinInventOnhand >=
this.availPhysical() - (-_inventQty )))
return checkfailed(Strfmt("Cannot issue %1 Item as On Hand
quantity will reduce :( below Minimum Qty %2"

,-_inventQty,ReqItemTable::find(ItemId,inventDimId).MinInventOnhand));

//===
if (this.availPhysical() < (-_inventQty))
{
if (! _addInfo)
return false;*
*setprefix("@SYS70390");
if (inventDimCriteria.preFix())*

I assume you have set up the Coverage groups, Min Max levels for the items
:)
However I have not fully tested this tweaking. You need to test it
thoroughly before you use it. I only tested it with Sales Orders :). Let me
know if u find any issues and I'll try to see what else I can do to help
you. *Please do this in a test environment.*

Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Insert Methods

2007-11-29 Thread Arijit Basu
Hi Ricardo,

When a record on a form is exited, the following sequence of events occurs:

[image: formrec.gif]

   1.

   The validateWrite method on the data source is executed.
   2.

   The write method on the data source is executed.
   3.

   The insert (if it is a new record), or the update (if it is an
   existing record) method on the table is executed.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Simultaneous run onDifferent Environment

Hi Viju,
   You must create 2 AOS & Client configurations (Each pointing to the
application & Database) for being able to run both these environments at the
same time.

Hi tarek,
   The Projects Module ( Hour Journal) can let employees register time ( You
can associate a cost price & sales price for hours worked).
It works like the time sheet.

Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Export Button Hide

2007-11-21 Thread Arijit Basu
Hi Mukesh,
Looked for such setting but couldnt find. However there is a naughty
workaround :)
Make a change in this
\Forms\SysExportDialog\Methods\init()

void init()
{
super();

imageListAppl_checkbox  = new ImageListAppl_checkbox();
exportFlag  = #noExport;
languageMap = new Map(Types::String, Types::Enum);
*element.close(); // Insert this :)*
languageTree.setStateImagelist(imageListAppl_checkbox.imageList());

}

This is a temp workaround. Ill look some more and update u in case I find
any :)

Cheers

Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Re: Form Splitter

2007-11-20 Thread Arijit Basu
Hi ricardo,
   I think you missed the Table joins in the form datasource. If u see the
SalesTable form , see the datasource and you will see that SalesLine is
joined to SalesTable with link type delayed and InventDim is joined to
salesLine with type Inner Join. In your form, you need to set the joins in
the datasource.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
   Ensure that .NET 2.0 is installed. Also open IIS. Go to website>Default

Rite click Properties > ASP.NET Tab. Check that v2.0.50727 is selected. This
error usually happens when the ASP.NET tab does not have
v.2.0.50727selected. I got this error once.

Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Problem Regarding Sales Order

Hi Ajit,
  Use the Global function numeralsToTxt(real _num).
You may have to tweak this function to incorporate Indian scenario :)
Cheers

Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Moving some part of the report to the next page

2007-04-11 Thread Arijit Basu
Hi VG,
  I had a similar problem. What i did was keep a counter. In my case I knew
that a page could display 20 rows. Now if the total rows to be displayed was
== 20, I used a element.newpage() which moved the last record on the new
page. Try it out. Lemme know if it helped :)
Cheers

Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Number of Originals are not specified

2007-04-03 Thread Arijit Basu
Hi,
   Go to Vendors>Setup>Print Management. The checkbox at the top saying
"Use Document Setup" should be ticked so as to inherit from the form
setup. If not then you must specify for each vendor. I had this problem once
and I resolved it this way.
Hope it helps
