Hi Pankaj, The MS communicator indicator will be active if the OCS client at host machine is running. You need to start the client and will be able to see the indicator. Also I hope you have setup the SIP to AD alias. It seems that u have the errors in OLAP cubes. Please refer the microsoft's document for correcting the errors in default cube. If u have custom cube then check that also. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] AX Images in Report builder 2.0 report
Hi All, I am facing an issue while displaying the images in report builder which are stored in SQL DB from AX. I am able to store the image from AX into an AX table and able to see it in AX image control in a form. How ever I am creating a report in Report Builder 2.0 to show the image in report, I am selecting the Image source as database and setting up the MIME type also correctly. But when I am running the report I am always getting a red cross symbol. Do I need to use any expressions for image field in report? I am not sure if AX adds any OLE header information to image which is causing the issue. If any one could provide any guindance, it will be really helpful. Hi All, I am trying to setup the AX sales mobile application on AX 2009SP1 MS image and following the installation setup document provided with the msi. I have followed the steps and able to deploy and install the necessary files. But when I'm trying to synchronize the device db with the mobile staging db then device is throwing the error and not synchronizing it. Is anyone completed the setup and faced the issue? [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] AX 2009 SP1 Project Server Integration Issue
Hi All, I’m trying to use the project server and AX integration on MS AX 2009 VPC Image. The prerequisite for integration is already setup at image there is one project which was available with OOB image and had integration with project server. But I’m not able to synchronize any new items on image even not able to refresh the already integrated project to project server. The changes we performed on the OOB image are: 1. Installed the AX 2009 SP1 2. Installed .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 3. Removed the Payroll module (SL2.AOD) 4. Deployed Timesheet module (SL1.AOD) Apart from these changes I have not done any specific installation. The synchronization proxy account is setup synchronization service is also running. I'm able to see the items in synchronization service queue manager, but the transaction status is not changing from waiting to completed and nothing is happening after this step. I'm also running an empty batch job in AX before starting the transaction. I tried downloading the AX 2009 SP1 MS image and doing the same at there but not able to succeed there as well. The integration transaction is not completing getting the authorization error when I checked the windows application event viewer. Could anyone guide me on the same? Thanks in advance!! Hi All, I'm facing an error after enbedding a Sliverlight control on EP. EP site works fine but as soon as I'm opening the AX rich client it is crashing. But if I remove the SL control it is working fine. So I assume there is some problem with the SL control only. But what it is I have no idea. Could any one help me in this problem? Hi Ton, It is due to the domain problem. Becuase AOS is installed on different domain so the wondows service will not start for it. you have to install AOS locally to the domain this computer to make it work. One additional note: In FRX report designer go to company information and create a new company and then you can link it to Dynamics Ax company. Hi, Try this if you have the SQL query analyzer at back end Write a SQL update query (a sp would be good) and update the data area id to virtual company id for the tables which you want to include in table collections for virtual company. Hi, We are facing the code upgrade problem from 3.0 to 4.0. We have the application files in 3.0. The 3.0 system was connecting to the oracle db. we are now trying to upgrade the code in 4.0 with SQL db. But after following the standard steps for upgrade it is giving the problem: Listed below are the steps and problem: We are facing few problems when moving our application from 3.0 to 4.0 and also Code Upgrading in Test Environment. This is what we have done. 1) We have installed a new dynamics AX 4.0 with SP1( appl, client,AOS, empty database). 2)Unchecked the check box Start the AOS Windows service as part of installation 3) We have copied all the application ( *.aod, *.add,*.ahd,*.ald,*.khd ) files from 3.0 above the DIS to 4.0\Application\Appl \Standard . 6)Copied all the *.aod files from 3.0 to 4.0\Application\Appl \Standard\Old. ( here we don't have AxSys.aod and AxUsr.aod to copy in old so we have copoed standard AxSys.aod file). 7) Deleted the axapd.aoi file form 4.0\Application\Appl\Standard \. 8)Started AOS. 9)Started client (When we started the client it is giving the error as shown in the attached file). When we check the event viewer it is giving the info Object Server 01: The database reported (session 3 (Admin)): [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid column name 'MSM_SVCCALLUSECREATEFORM'.. Problem description is below: Whenever we test an Analogmeter in HumanResource-Setup-Scorecard-Analogmeter then it will show a HTML page with the relevant values and colors defined in KMKnowledgeAnalogmeterSetupLine table. But when we are trying to get the HTML from the corresponding class KMKnowledgeAnalogMeterTest static method getHTML() and try to show it into infolog box it is showing the part of html in one line and then it is adding each line for corresponding KMKnowledgeAnalogmeterSetupLine record. Mean to say that if from InfoLog we will copy the HTML text and paste it in notepad and try to run that HTML page then it is showing it without Colors and values. Any help is highly appreciatable. Some times it is giving the error that password for admin is incorrect even though we are not conecting using admin user. Hi All, It is mentioned in Axapta Developer Guide that If we want to see the data in all companies we should use Virtual Companies concept. If we dont want to store dataAreaId identifier for the record then we can achieve it through setting the SaveDataPerCompany property of the table to NO. But According to Axapta Standard we should not set this to NO. It must be YES always. I am wondering why is it so? Any Clue? Because many table like DomainInfo, AccessRightsList etc is using this. Generally this is not recommended. To see a list of tables with non company-specific data, click . Tip The company acronym can be seen in the status line. Double-clicking the acronym opens a dialog to change company. Microsoft Axapta standard The property must be set to Yes. You can get it in Axapta Developer guide under table properties. Hi, There is a problem we are facing with label files. We ahve created one label file and some labels in it. In our system where we have created is it showing proper labels. But when we are copying those label files in another application it is not showing the labels. Any body will have idea that why it is happening... Hi, We are trying to use navision axapta web deployment tool to access axapta. When we r trying to use it from remote location it is downloading and installing axapta correctly. But while opening the axapta it is giving the error that No AOS is located from current configuration settings. at server side we have provided an open IP to the system. there is a one to one relationship between local Ip and open Ip also. and in configuration settings we r providing host name for open IP.
