the Business Essentials edition. You would need to opt for the Advanced

thanks for the reply. Just I need to clarify what u meant by additional users, 
do u mean additional to the number of AX licensed users?? so if we have a 50

Make sure you have Business connector configuration (in the AX client 
configuration utility) pointing to the correct AOS instance.
 
If this is not done, you shall see an empty site on installing EP (only Home

Thanks Edvandro,issue is solved. Actually Antivirus on the client server was 
blocking the sharepoint.Buisness Connector had administrative rights. I had to 
reinstall the IIS to install EP and sharepoint.But still i cannt see standard 
AX modules on the EP site???

Hi Rajcoomar,
 
I found the following exception in the error log shared by you.
"Exception: The Web application at http://DENUAS078:120 could not be found. 
Verify that you have typed the URL correctly. If the URL should be serving 
existing content, the system administrator may need to add a new request URL 
mapping to the intended application."

This means that you need to setup an "Alternate Acces mapping" in SharePoint 
central admin site (Operations tab >> Global Configuration >> Alternate access 
mapping") whereby you would need to map your sharepoint front end servers to 
the farm administrator server.
 
Do let me know in case this works.

We are facing an issue while trying to install EP over a Web Farm in AX 2009. 
There are 2 Web server - WS01 and WS02 with WS01 as Farm Admin.
 
Sharepoint runs on WSS 3.0 SP1.
 
We have installed EP successfully for the Farm Admin WS01. EP site runs fine. 
We installed WSS 3.0 SP1 in WS02 as well and achieved Farm Cluster.
 
However, when we try to run the AX setup selecting EP and Role Center for WS02 
( without checking the site creaton option and using the same application pool 
for WS01), we get an error : Reason: Dynamics Object Adapter Call failed.
 
I am attaching the error log for reference.
 
Please note all necessary pre-requisites like AMO, Client Connectivity Tools 
etc are both installed for both the web servers.
 
If anyone has faced similar thing before while installing EP on a web farm, 
please let me urgently as we have a scheduled go-live next week.

i have problem in form.

i.e In PurchTable form Headerlevel i added one field,

field name is "Status_Po" at Overview tab level.before that i already 

created EnumType for status_po, for enum i created two elements i.e one is

I also facing this problem.  The latest Demo data only have 2007 and 2008 data, 
so most of the chart or graph are not working as it suppose to.  I tried to 
create data for 2009 but surprisingly it didn't update the chart as well.  I'm 
using CFO profile and the Profitability Analysis chart still not reflected.  
Any expert here can give your valuable advice?

data.In the role center home page there is no data showing for the charts or

You can see all countries because the localizations for these countries in AX 
2009 is consolidated to a single layer - GLS.
 
In the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 solution, the individual GLS layers for 
China, Japan, Brazil, India, and Thailand have been merged together to create a 
single, consolidated GLS layer. This will better support multinational 
deployments of Microsoft Dynamics AX.

To add to what has been discussed, note that domain trust relationships may be 
one-way, two-way, transitive, non-transitive.
 
The AX application will recognize all the users in the domain ONLY IF all the 
domains in the forest are set up with two-way trust.

hmmm Actually we have to try and see this.I haven't done this thing 
actually that how to connect 2 domains,may be its a networking problem.If on 
the domain machine users can be added from other domain after trusting ,then it 
is very much possible to add them in Axapta

users from other domain.

By default, there are only 2 domains in my Users import form (Adminstration 
->Users -> Import) (check the attachment)  
  
The domains listed above doesn’t cover all the members in the organization (Say 
members from Finance/HR dept are not in the given domain). 
Now my requirement is to include those members also in USERS form. Since they 
do not belong to any of the above domains, I get the error that “user is not in 
the active directory” when i try to add them. 
  
To be precise about  my issue, we are not able to add the users who are in 
other domains apart from the domains listed above… 
  
Any idea how to bring the other domains also in the look up??

doesn't have a reference.
Try compiling the class after installing the reporting extensions.

Try to deploy SP1 first, but if still happened usually I just reinstalled my 
AX09 and after compilation check list finished I deploy SP1.

I have SalesTable with 253 fields and SalesLine with 250 fields and by 
executing the below query in a job, i am getting the error as below. .

Check whether the trust level for your SharePoint installation is set to 
Medium. The Microsoft Dynamics AX Web Parts do not render content correctly if 
this is not done. To change the setting:

Navigate to the root of your SharePoint installation. The default is 
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot.

Open the web.config file, set the value for trust level to WSS_Medium, and save 
the file.

Yes. AOS specific websites can be setup as follows:
 
In the Microsoft Dynamics AX Setup, run through the initial wizard pages,  
on the .NET Business Connector: Connect to AOS instance page, enter the name of 
the computer running the AOS instance to connect to and then click Next. You 
can optionally specify the AOS instance name and TCP/IP port number.

Can you see the WorkflowActionBar with the "Submit" button in EP?
 
To start off troubleshooting, 2 things to check:
 
1. Check your business connector proxy account setup in AX (system service 
accounts form in Admin module of AX). This should be set on the identity of the 
application pool running your workflow website.
 
2. Make sure the user running workflow is a part of "Workflow execution 
account" and "Workflow system account" user groups in AX 2009. These are new 
standard groups in AX 2009.

I have installed EP on standard AX2009 application  and this is attached to a 
new site created with different port number and it is working fine. After this 
i have installed workflow pointing to a default site with port no:80 and when i

Try these steps:
1) Make sure the .NET Business Connector is connected to the correct AOS server 
or not.
    (Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Configuration: On the tob change Configuration 
Traget to: Business Connector (non-interactive use only) on Connection tab make 
sure it is pointing to the correct AOS)

2) If you shutdown the AOS then you may need to restart the IIS to refresh the 
connection. 
 To restart it:
 i) Start --> Run 
 ii) Type "IISRESET"
 iii) Click on OK button
 
3) If you have more than one Workflow websites setup for several environments 
on the same system then stop the ones other then the one to be tested

4) Compare the Identity of the Application Pool used by the Workflow website 
with the Business Connector proxy setup in the system (System service accounts 
form). If business connector proxy user id is not configured properly with 
Applicatoin pool the .NET Business Connector will NOT connect to the AOS.

Let me know in case this resolves your issue.

Hi Craig,
 
One reason for this error could be that the port used by the Workflow site is 
already in use. check out your IIS and if so, rectify the same.

Yes. Follow the below mentioned steps.
 
1. Configure an email template (Basic >> Setup >> Email templates)
2. Set it up on the 'Settings for Workflow' form (Basic >> Setup >> Settings for Workflow)
3. Make sure the email parameters are set at Administration >> Setup >> Email parameters)
4. Use forms under Periodic >> Email processing to send mails via batch and to track status/resend emails.

Please check the status of your Purchase requisition. It should be "Pending completion" for the Functions >> RFQ button to be enabled. To change the status to pending completion, the PR should be submitted to the AX 2009 Workflow engine.

Hi Asit,
 
Avoid modifying default.master.
You should take a copy of the master page, rename it to something else and then 
publish your new copy to the Master Page Gallery. That will allow you to change 
the master page of the web site to use your modified master page.
 
Are you using MOSS or WSS 3.0??

Hi Raja,

Are you trying to upgrade from 4.0SP1 --> 4.0 SP2?
Try copying the aod files of 4.0SP2 and restart the AX client and this should 
work and upgrade checklist should be completed.
