Re: Learning to dowse
Hi! James, Yes I would like to be there. I have emailed Cheryl off list with copies of there earlier emails. How are you both? I have a couple of friends in their sixties on the way to visit Running Stream and some other nearby places, as each lived around there as girls and one is going back for some family thing and the other just to catch up. I think they both left permanently when they went to nursing and teacher training. One is a long term member of our Permaculture Group. I told them about the people who make pies from your berries. so they may stop by and check the pies out. Lloyd and all, Thank you very much for all the dowsing sites. Printed "Letter to Robin." I will be working on this and it will take some time. Printed "Dowsing and Archeology" for an archeologist friend who works in Alaska and here trying to find old historical sites. What a wonderful outpouring of information! What horizons! I go to get the patterns from the BioMeridian MSI this afternoon. The state is dragging its heels in releasing our grant money and I can't buy the bentonite/lime or the grain seed yet. I'm just trying to hang loose. Can't help but wonder if after three months of doing nothing else but this grant, I will be thwarted. Thank goodness, I can still spray the stuff I get today with a good conscience. I want to dowse this whole process. It's been raining. Perennial poppy, tiny iris, daffodiil, tulip, hyacinth shoots are up. Can I take soil samples after a rain? Thanks for the ratio of bentonite to lime. How do I tell if I'm getting a high calcium lime. Look at the label? When I call suppliers, ask THEM to look at the label? If, after drinking lots of water, you still have trouble, you might try 2 pressure points to balance your energy field. One of these ponts is the posterior edge of your hand-sort of below your little finger. The other is called a "sore spot" and it is located right below your collar bone (either side). You thump the point on your hand or rub the "sore spot" to help center your energy. [some of you may recognize these as the set-up for EFT http://www.emofree.com/] It's actually a good sign that nothing happens at first. My experience is that people who can will the pendulum have a much harder time getting an authentic reading. namaste, Sarah Lloyd Charles <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: - Original Message - From: Dave Robison To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, April 12, 2002 4:23 AM Subject: Learning to dowse " go to the web site for the American Dowsers Association www.dowsers.org and download the booklet " letter to Robin " by Walt Woods I've tried -- it doesn't work for me. ie) the pendulum shows no inclination to change direction in response to questions.I have tried some of Sharon's suggestions, will try some more. The comment on dehydration is interesting. Plus, the national dowsing convention and dowsing schools will be held in mid-June in Lyndonville, Vermont. The Basic and Expanded pre-convention dowsing schools are outstanding, and cover a wide variety of applications. I'm sure the website gives the particulars. Re: Learning to dowse
Dear Sharon and Wayne, Thanks for giving us your great site to check out about the dowsing. It is a really good clear short discussion on dowsing. I was really pleased to see mention of hearing of the answer prior to pendulum swinging - I get this all the time, and also some funny comments at times!! Plus pictures. It often gives me a clue to see the picture, and also to ask further questions to clarify or take it even further in other directions. I have also found that if I dont have my pendulum I can just let my arm swing by my side - back and forth is yes, sideways no. Very handy when you dont want to be seen checking. I really use the pendulum just as a focussing point - helps me tune into my intuition - was really good to see that written down. Also the part about connecting to your higher self is good, I was actually teaching someone to do this last week, and the picture of it was shown to me in one of the books I have, so I could show the person. I just love it when it all comes together like this. Love and Light Cheryl.
