Re: [BlindHandyMan] Killing off little spiders
Top of the morning Dave and Sally. If that horse chestnut worked here in Upstate New York we could really put you in business. When someone asks what the treatment was we used and I told them imported Irish Horse chestnuts. actually I know right where there might be some, next thing is can we get on the property. give me 24 hours and I'll be back in touch. thanks much. we have tried the standard charcoal and more to no avail. short of calling a professional extermator. Re: [BlindHandyMan] Killing off little spiders
R J, $130 is , in my opinion Cheap. We had a problem in many places with ants some years ago and the man charged $225. after that we found out about 45 % chloradane which my wife had to sing for at Agway but apparently it is no longer legal in this country. However it is legal for other countries to spray chloradane, made in this country to be sprayed on bananas and more. so remember to always wash your hands with soap and water. thanks.Lee -- Creativity is not always bred in an environment of tranquility; sometimes you have to squeeze a little to get the paste out of the tube.

using flea bombs Bob do we need to like vacate the premises ? Lee -- Creativity is not always bred in an environment of tranquility; sometimes you have to squeeze a little to get the paste out of the tube.
Re: [BlindHandyMan] Killing off little spiders
Lee, when using flea bombs one must remove all living things for close to three hours. The ones I found that I like use an eight cup of water or so to activate. I get the containers with water placed where I want them and have everything ready. When all ready I just drop the little can in the container with water all in sequence to the door. I don't have to hurry since it takes over a minute to start. Really nice to use. After it is over, the container that holds everything gets thrown in the trash. They work on squirrels also. .bob [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

[BlindHandyMan] Killing off little spiders
Long ago we discussed spiders here. I am not or no longer allowed to use a flame thrower in this house so looking for suggestions on finding these little critters and then getting rid of them. we have hung up the old fashioned fly strips and cannot find any spider webs but some sighted folks are on occasion finding these tiny spiders which have bitten anybody but me. must be the garlic in my system. seriously though. how the heck to you get rid of, kill off or whatever these critters ? we have tried for over a year those plug in do dads which we got from Sears but apparently this one brand of tiny spider has full metal jackets. thanks.Lee -- Formatted to fit your screen.
Re: [BlindHandyMan] Killing off little spiders
the most natural way we could find is placing horse chestnuts around the house. aperently spiders do not like the smell they give off, which is un noticeable by humans. it works by keeping them out. if you cant get any horse chestnuts try getting a spray containing horse chestnut oil. there is a company over here in ireland called cleaneze and they sell it, but probably wallmart may do something similar. failing that, i may go into bisness exporting the chestnuts that fall off my mums tree in her back yard!!! do you wan some? Re: [BlindHandyMan] Killing off little spiders
Every year I have my outside of the house sprayed for insects. This seems to handle the spider problem. The cost to do the house and the barn is $135 for the treatment. I started it to get rid of carpenter bees. RJ - Original Message - From: Lee A. Lee sinced you are no longer allowed to use a flame thrower in your house may I offer an idea. Do you have any friends that work in Law enforcement? If so you might see if one of them might be so kind as to len you one of those nifty little Tazer thingies that they like to use to torment little old ladies they catch jay walking with their walkers. -Original Message- From: blindhandyman@yahoogroups.com [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of chiliblindman Sent: Saturday, October 20, 2007 8:25 PM To: blindhandyman@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] Killing off little spiders Lee, those little white spiders bite like hell.
