[cfaussie] ECLIPSE / Flex Builder HTML Plug-in
What are people using for their HTML plug-in for Eclipse? I was having a look at http://www.aptana.com/studio again but last time I used it, the plug-in was very heavy and kept crashing my Eclipse. Any other suggestions? Steve --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups cfaussie group. yeah, I've tried using Aptana but don't think much of it (crashes on me too) how about http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/ ? although to be honest, I'm currently using DreamWeaver, mainly for layout and CSS. [cfaussie] CF Meetup at a more Aussie-friendly time: 11pm US EDT (1pm Friday, Sydney time)
Hello my Aussie friends, I wanted to let you know that today (your Friday) we will be having the Online CF Meetup event at a special time, more conducive to you (and many others around the world). We normally meet at noon and 6pm US EDT, but today's meeting will be at 11pm (Thursday, US EDT). That's 1pm in the Aussie east coast. You can find the exact time for you using this work clock feature, which shows the time fixed at 11pm US EDT and you can see the time in your city: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?year=2008month=5day=1 hour=23min=00sec=0p1=25 The talk is by Robin Hilliard, talking on the new CFInterface tag in CF8. You can find more details about that, and our meeting at noon US EDT (by yours truly, on using RDS in Eclipse, DW, and HomeSite+/CF Studio), as well as about the CF meetup in general, at http://coldfusionmeetup.com. Just thought some may appreciate a special heads up about the special time, and a preso to the world by one of your own. :-) /charlie --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups cfaussie group. yeah, you're right - that was one of the choices. (FYI - there is a caveat there: there's a bunch of reserved suffixes that won't show up in FORM.fieldnames ... _date and _time are a couple) I was going to look at form.fieldnames as a list to search but I really need ListFind() to either return an array of matches or use a starting find attribute for the next one ... [cfaussie] Re: is there a more efficent way of finding keys in FORM scope?
Barry, That page is extremely confusing I understand what it is trying to say, however let's look at the _Date validation. As it states, for _Date Verifies that the user entered a date and converts the date into the proper ODBC date format. Yet the action page then checks to see if the StartDate is defined? That sort of really doesn't make sense? Now having said this, I did not know that in normal HTML you could do this form of validation? How is it achieved, I would assume when the form is submitted the engine most do some post checking etc. Andrew Scott Senior Coldfusion Developer Aegeon Pty.
