Lol no they aren't. In 1971 I bought a teardrop fiberglass hood for my 65. I had it for about 6 months and decided to put it on. The darn thing was for a 64. 64 hoods are straight across the front and 65 has a slight V. needless to say they weren't happy when I returned it.

There is another member that used to post here, Colin Crews, that has a 
68 Chevelle with a "less expensive" hood that he spent many hours on making it 
work.  Sometimes you just have to go with what's out there for your 
particular car if you want the product.  Probably the reason the 66/67 
years are the last to get products is they are a one-year-only item unlike other 
years where the hoods (and other panels) will fit more than one.  Can't 
wait to see what Goodmark does with a 67 hood; maybe Harwood will jump on the 
band wagon soon as well.

On my '69, I have a 6" Harwood with the finished underside.  It's
really a high quality hood that looks great.  Underside looks so nice,
I didn't bother painting it.   You can see some pics of it at

I have been looking at fiberglass panels and the word out on Unlimited is that it is more for racers that are concerned with saving weight, rather then a good appearance. did you call them up and complain?
Fiberglass is not that easy to work with. Especially when you try to paint
it. I am in the Navy and I did fiberglass repair for 3 years. Its very
porrous unlike what people think. It is not good that they sent you such bad
peices but I would think that they would take the pieces back and send you
some replacements.

Trent I got rear bumpers from them. The lady said I'd be 
happy when I saw them. They looked like a dog had chewed on them then primered.

  All,
   
      I need to get a new 6" cowl induction 
  hood for my '67 Chevelle SS.  I currently have one on my Chevelle, but 
  it's pretty jacked up.  I need that large of one to clear the tunnel ram 
  I am currently running.  The comments I've heard about Unlimited Products 
  haven't been very favorable.  They have a 6" bolt-on fiberglass hood for 
  a '67 Chevelle that sells for $449.
   
      Anyway, is what I've heard about 
  Unlimited Products true?  Why the bad reputation?  Also, is there 
  any other company that
  makes what I'm looking for?  I really want the cowl 
  induction style (NOT a snorkel or a "hole" in the hood).
   
      Any and all advice is welcome.
