RE: End of CCIE Written [7:46445]
Hi, Does you guys have a copy of that official announcement from Cisco? I'd like to see that. RE: CCIE 350-001 [7:42344]
All, So does that mean in 6-8 weeks, the current(non-beta) exam will be no more? And the new exam will be structured more like the BETA? Any info would be helpful.I'm sitting the BETA tomorrow as a trial runKnowing that would be good Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7i=42482t=42344 -- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
CCIE BETA [7:41769]
Afternoon all, Is there anyone out there that is planning on taking the CCIE BETA exam? If so, what are some of the resources that you guys will be using to prepare? I know the typical.CaslowRIF's.Halabi, but what are some of the other things to look out for? Any info is appreciated Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7i=41769t=41769 -- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
RE: CCIE BETA [7:41769]
I heard that. Im pretty much going to tackle it with the same assumption. Still I would like to be relatively prepared for it. I also notice that you get the results like 6-8 weeks later. Does that mean that you dont receive a PASS/FAIL screen at the end of the exam? Hmmmkinda tough when you think about itI mean, not knowing how well you did Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7i=41772t=41769 -- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: ccie 351-001 [7:41655]
Sorry i think that was a typo.CCO's website does indeed say that the 351-001 counts for the RS qualification exam. RE: CIT Test [7:34856]
From what I remember, this test was not as hard as routing. Know your show and debugs, ISDN troubleshooting, and some Frame-Relay...not to mention stuff about the tools on CCO that can be used for problem determination. CCIE-lab scenarios [7:34870]
Hello all, Question for you all...I'm a CCNP, and I'm getting ready to take on the CCIE written and LAB exam within the next few months. I have reviewed CCO's blueprint on the exam and have mapped out a schedule on what to study to make sure that I cover all the topics for the CCIE written. Also, I'd like to hear about any GOOD lab scenarios that are out there that I can purchase or download that will help me in my studies for the lab. I plan to attend the Centennial Networking Lab in Raleigh, NC, for my hands-on practice, and I'm looking for some good scenarios that will really sharpen my skills. I have heard positive things about ccbootcamp.com's lab workbook, but it's kinda pricey. What other workbooks are out there??? I heard about certificationzone.com's work book, and solutionlabsare they any good? Anybody with information that's willing to share would be helpful Thanks, Jason Clark, CCNP Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7i=34870t=34870 -- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Those who have passed IE-written, please advise [7:24289]
First of All, Congrats and well-wishes to all those who have passed the CCIE-written. I have a question for youI will be taking the CIT on Tuesday, and with God's grace, and my continued study, I have faith I will pass. CCNP tests will be a thing of the past at that point, but then WHAT? Lots of people that I have run into say that the CCDA/DP route is the next best thing to taking the IE-written. I have a corporations training budget behind me, so it wouldn't be a problem for me to get some hands-on exp with routers training-wise(I do have some already), as well as getting all of the study materials that I need to get the IE-written out of the way, as well as the lab. For those of you who know, I work right next to the CCIE networking lab in Raleigh, NC(www.cnl.ncsu.edu), so live equipment training would be attainable for me. Is it reasonable to simply go for the IE-written, or in lieu of everything stated above, I still should go the Da/DP way first. All you pending CCIE'sPlease ADVISE Wish me luck on Tuesday, Jason Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7i=24289t=24289 -- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

RE: setting mtu size on a 2611
Yeah, I know it's not a good idea to change the MTU. The reason I am doing this is for testing purposes for a customer. I am trying to test out PMTU discovery. Basically I want to change the MTU to 1450 on the router and then enable PMTUD on a Solaris box and configure Solaris with the default MTU of 1500 and have the two devices negotiate the MTU to 1450. RE: CIT 4.0 help
Are the Boson tests helpful in preparing for the CIT? Boson has 3 separate sets of practice tests for the CIT exam. Any recommendations on which one to purchase (1,2, or 3) as I don't want to shell out $90 for all three? TIA Jason -Original Message- From: Priscilla Oppenheimer [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, May 30, 2000 3:27 PM To: 'CiscoGroupStudy' Subject: Re: CIT 4.0 help The course manual and/or the book format, edited by Dan Farkas and Laura Chappell, are the best way to study for CIT. Nobody will give you a list of questions from the exam, (see other threads ;-), but I did make some flash cards to help study for the test. When I wrote them, I had not taken the exam but after taking the exam, I have concluded that they are very close to the exam.
