Careful using 3600s, the 3620 certainly isn't up to
DS-3 and the 3640 will only just manage DS-3 even
100% fast-switched. Consider a 3660 or 7x00s for remote
sites, certainly for the hub site. 3660s seem better for
Voice than 7x00s.

QoS isn't needed (Generally) for pure data, particularly
if you're upgrading from T1 and there's not going to be
a significant jump in bandwidth usage. For Voice, QoS
will be needed if there is going to be any possibility
of congestion on the line, although Custom Queueing
should be sufficient.

Depends. How much does your company rely on the intersite
data links? Probably a lot. Some carriers offer ISDN dialin
to the ATM cloud - this is probably expensive to set up.
Another option is a Primary Rate ISDN at each site and
bring up a T1-worth of ISDN if the line goes down. (Watched
routes are good for this as you can build redundancy
across multiple chassis at the hub site)

AAL1 is for circuit emulation - good if you're emulating
a T1 trunk for the phone system between sites. With T3
worth of bandwidth, this may not be a noticable hit in
bandwidth at all. OTOH, if you want the most out of your
bandwidth then it may be best to have voice cards in the
3660s at remote sites and do VoATM, which does it's own
QoS. You will probably have to buy an additional PVC from
the telco for differing QoS but I'm not familiar with US
telco pricing.

Don't know AVVID at all.

Yes. Local Directors pass all packets. (Including CDP - Catalyst switches
connecting two interfaces in different VLANs to one LD usually give lots
of VLAN mismatch errors as they see their own packets come back)

The "returned to ROM by power-on" line is normal, it indicates the router was
rstarted alst when it was physically turned on, as opposed to a crash or manual
reload. The router has booted out of flash, not ROM, this is the important line:

> System image file is "flash:/c2500-i-l.121-2.bin"

If the router was running from ROM, the prompt would be rommon (ROM Monitor mode)
and standard IOS commands wouldn't work.

It sounds like you're talking about priority queueing. One thing to bear in
mind about this is that if hosts C and D use up all the bandwidth, no other
traffic will get through. If this isn't what you want and you want to limit
how much of the bandwidth they can use, you might like to look at custom
queueing instead.

The command you want is the interface mode configuration command
"prority-list". Something like:

Router(config-if)#prioity-list 1 protocol ip medium 101

Router(config)#access-list 101 permit ip host 60.100.0.10 host 199.100.0.10
Router(config)#access-list 101 permit host 199.100.0.10 host 60.100.0.10
Router(config)#access-list 101 deny ip any any

EIGRP dosn't support discontiguous subnets or fully classess routing by

Depends on the root bridge configuration and topology. If the configuration
of the switch this switch is connected to is default and both ports are
conneted to the same switch, port 1/2 wins. (Lowest port ID, calculated
as port priority plus the port slot/number. Default priority is 32)

Port cost is added outbound, not inbound, so the port cost on this switch is
irrelevant.

If you really meant that the received port costs are 10 and 20, rather than the
locally set costs, the answer is 1/1 as lower cost wins.

All the hops listed are used and are cycled through either no a per-packet
or per-destination basis, depending on the router configs. Looks like you
have multiple equal-cost paths to the destination.
