Re: PIX problem [7:2128]

2001-04-26 Thread Ian Stong

This happened to me a few times. In my case it was related to doing debugs.
Anytime I ran debugs - shortly after the PIX would stop processing packets.
Have you been running debugs. Could also be that you are sending too much
traffic through it - or have run out of memory. What is your traffic load
like and how much memory do you have - and how much is free. Check all this
when it is working as well as when it is not working and see if you see a
pattern.

Try the following
timeout xlate 0:05:00 conn 0:05:00 half-closed 0:05:00 udp 0:01:00
timeout rpc 0:05:00 h323 0:05:00

PIX problem [7:2128]

2001-04-26 Thread Dennis Laganiere

I've got a PIX 513 that went into production a few weeks ago. It was
running fine for a while, and one day we lost internet connectivity inside
my network.

I tested for a few minutes and could get out from the DMZ, but not from
inside. My partner reset the PIX and connectivity came back. This repeated
itself a few days later. Yesterday it happened twice.

I obviously want to do something besides resetting it after each failure,
but I'm not sure where to start. I looked through the CCO and didn't find
any reference to a problem like mine.

Any thoughts before I call the TAC?

Let me know...

--- Dennis
