Hi Beatrice All translator comments from the last release has now been integrated, so now its time to get those strings updated. It should be a quick update, as there is no new strings/things to investigate. It could be a good idea to look through the translation of Click and drag for your language to make it consistent (especially if several translators has been working on your language file). This update is not followed by a new release (the next release expected ultimo this year is only going to see small changes to the strings, as it is primary a code clean up release). Se apri la seconda news https://packages.qa.debian.org/k/kingston-update-notifier/news/20140723T072323Z.html vedi che è stato tolto per il bug 755697, ma non hai info aggiuntive, vai sul bug indicato: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=755697 da qui vedi che anche qui non hai info aggiuntive, ma un rimando al bug 755443, se vai anche su questo bug: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=755443 trovi la risposta: è stato rimosso l'update-notifier di gnome e poiché quello di KDE dipendeva da un pacchetto di quello di gnome, allora deve essere tolto anche quello di KDE. Il motivo è che non era più aggiornato/mantenuto del 2011 (quindi rischio sicurezza e correttezza funzionamento). Se lo imposti a 0, allora non userà mai lo swap... o almeno non dovrebbe mai usarla. Probabilmente è cache ma il problema di libreoffice continua a sussistere, chiede un casino di cache. nell'articolo dice che quando fanno determinate operazioni succede questo problema. Quindi probabilmente non è LibreOffice la causa, ma fa scatenare questo problema perché compie una di queste operazioni... Ho trovato un bug segnalato su archlinux ed a quanto pare il problema è di kswapd0 dovuto ad alcuni nuovi kernel, ma è una cosa abbastanza random sia come versone del kernel usato che come macchina. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=144702 ho provato a creare un file di swap come da te suggerito, il risultato è che ora non si pianta più, in compenso su 2GB di swap arrivo ad occuparne tranquillamente il 70%. Probabilmente è cache ma il problema di libreoffice continua a sussistere, chiede un casino di cache. Se è la free, allora vuol dire che hai liberi 2,7 GB di RAM Se ti si blocca io punterei più a problemi di CPU. Se si satura la RAM non c'è problema ;-) se l'hai (tu no) inizia ad usare lo swap fino a saturarlo :-) poi quando si accorge che non ha più RAM inizia ad uccidere (circa a caso) tutti i processi... risultato avrai un riavvio della sessione grafica. Al massimo hai un freeze di 1-2 minuti. Se vuoi provare questo brivido fai una diff tra due immagini di CD differenti :- prima assicurati di aver salvato tutti i lavori in corso Purtroppo ho prova diretta che il computer si pianta, ho notato per caso che è dovuto alla saturazione della memoria, il processore ad esempio rimane basso. Se ti si blocca il PC il motivo è un altro, io avrei puntato sull'uso della CPU eccessiva, ma se dici che non è questo... hai verificato con top? e avevi un idle vicino al 100%? Stai forse usando dei driver proprietari per la scheda video? Altro problema che può rallentare il PC è il disco, se ci sono problemi su disco e fatica a leggerlo, si può bloccare tutto il sistema. Hai provato con smartctl o il prodotto adatto al tuo disco? dopo un po' di test credo di aver individuato il responsabile del blocco: Il pc si pianta a causa della CPU che inizia ad andare al 100% (non lo vedevo perchè il plasmoide si pianta anch'esso). La butto lì: io ogni tanto con mate ho il problema che per qualche motivo qualche file sotto /run me lo trovo con i permessi sballati (spesso subito dopo aggiornamenti di qualcosa riguardanti dbus). Allora il file .xsession-errors inizia a riempirsi di errori a ripetizione così in fretta che il disco (ssd) non riesce a starci dietro e la ram buffer inizia a riempirsi e quando arriva in cima si impalla. Ho la widget con il grafico della ram e solitamente quando vedo tutto verde vado a verificare. Il modo per capire se è ciò che succede a te, è controllare il file .xsession-errors nella home del tuo utente. Prova a guardare sul wiki di debian multiarch, così da far condividere le due piattaforme (per alcuni programmi che sono solo i386 è necessaria questa procedura). Ritengo però che dopo l'impostazione del multiarch tu debba procedere a mano al cambio del kernel, da 32 a 64bit e tutti i programmi accessori... ciao fino a poco [1] tempo fa, avevo update manager (quello di gnome) caricato e presente tra le notifiche della taskbar. Le traduzioni vanno di solito inviate al sistema dei tracciamento dei bug e *solamente* dopo essere state revisionate. In più, come puoi vedere dall'intestazione del file quella traduzione è già assegnata (a me). Lo vedi nel campo Last-Translator all'inizio del file. Se vuoi tradurre un debconf... ce ne sono parecchi non tradotti e non assegnati. Puoi sceglierne uno non assegnato da qui [1] e seguire le istruzioni qui [2]; tradurlo e inviare la traduzione per la revisione con un oggetto [RFR] po-debconf://nome-pacchetto/it.po come detto qui [3]. Debian FAQ: translation update call
Dear Italian translators, I would like to bring to your attention that the Debian Faq document (available here [1]) has been updated recently to cover the Wheezy release. In order to update the debian-faq package in Wheezy, the maintainers would like to make a release soon so it can get in the next point release. The translation of this document into Italian is currently out-of-date: Lang Translated Fuzzy Unstranslated Italian964 7 11 Please, update the document before June 1th, which is the approximate date when we will upload the updated package. For translation updates, feel free to update the document directly in DDP's SVN or send bug reports to the debian-faq package. If you cannot update for that deadline, please try to update the document nevertheless since the website version is always updated from the SVN version and we will make more uploads of the document in the future. un saluto a tutta la lista :) come da oggetto avrei la necessità di impostare midori come alternativa principale al gruppo www-gnome-browser al posto di iceweasel che, per il momento, è l'unica scelta possibile update-alternatives --display gnome-www-browser gnome-www-browser - modalità automatica il collegamento attualmente punta a /usr/bin/iceweasel /usr/bin/iceweasel - priorità 70 slave gnome-www-browser.1.gz: /usr/share/man/man1/iceweasel.1.gz La versione best attuale è /usr/bin/iceweasel. leggendo il man ho dedotto che prima dovrei installare midori, ho provato in questo modo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/midori midori /usr/bin/midori 900 ma mi pare ci sia qualcosa che non torna dato che update-alternatives --set gnome-www-browser /usr/bin/midori update-alternatives: errore: alternativa /usr/bin/midori per gnome-www-browser non registrata, non viene impostata dove sbaglio? grazie anticipatamente per le eventuali risposte. alessio.

Il 05/04/2013 21:46, dr_morti...@cryptolab.net ha avuto l'onore e l'ardire di scrivere: un saluto a tutta la lista :) come da oggetto avrei la necessit� di impostare midori come alternativa principale al gruppo www-gnome-browser al posto di iceweasel che, per il momento, � l'unica scelta possibile leggendo il man ho dedotto che prima dovrei installare midori, che quindi tu hai installato, vero? ho provato in questo modo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/midori midori /usr/bin/midori 900 ma mi pare ci sia qualcosa che non torna dato che update-alternatives --set gnome-www-browser /usr/bin/midori update-alternatives: errore: alternativa /usr/bin/midori per gnome-www-browser non registrata, non viene impostata ...probabilmente non lo trova (vedi sopra)...
