First, thank you for your help! The Marketing Project leads will soon
explain you how you can help inside the Marketing project. I would
however like to show you, if you did not know it that there are
linguistic communities of users, developpers and marketers all around
the world for OpenOffice.org . They are known as the Native-Lang
Confederation. (http://native-lang.openoffice.org)
I have read you were Belgian. In case you are francophone, you may want
to help here: http://fr.openoffice.org In case you speak flemish/dutch,
you may want to go to the dutch speaking community:
http://nl.openoffice.org .
Of course, you can also contribute here, or in other projects!
Welcome to OpenOffice.org,

Well, look around at the website, see what is offered, see how
discussions and the process go on.

Then ask for something or do a suggestion to contribute.
Follow your own idea's as much as possible and try to confirm with known

Important : I was *not* alone to do everything ;-)

that so far the porting is doing much better than expected since he
managed to compile a temporary build of the specific mac version

on the MacTel platform.

Aqua version does not exist. Waht we currently have is a repeatable
complete build without use Xlib, but only an empty window. Now we
have to fill it...

Don't forget : this "thing" is of course not usable at all. A lot is
still to do before we can show something really interesting.

So what can be done is to "pollute the waves"
and get cocky and noisy in front of Microsoft; nothing more than that

No idea about Microsoft and Mactel port of MS Office ;-)

though, as the public is not interested to know that a developper, as
skilled as he can be, has managed to do this with a temporary
build. The

public wants a release (even a beta), not a wild set of binaries, as
this may be its perception.

Yes, and currently we have nothing interesting to show about native
port. What I can say is that February will be a great month for

The best we can do is to update Timeline, Baseline and propose a

It should be. It should be everywhere. I think it's just the nature of
the volunteer beast that it's been slow to work its way onto the site.
(It should also be on the splash screen, etc. in my opinion. Something
that could be done as part of the next "microupdate.")

As has been pointed out always is spelled with one L not two. But you might
want to consider rewording it to say.

Try it free for 30 Days!

--- it free for !

Use it free for LIFE!

(or)

Use it free for EVER!

"for always" doesn't sound right. And putting the word free before the
length of time makes it flow better, in my humble opinion.

Again, the concept is great. I really like it.

Also, I agree with Steven, you might want to change "It's THE standard" to
"Open. For Business."
