Re: [maven-antrun-plugin] 01/01: Added default versions of plugins to remove warning from MNG-6562
we should probably implement pluginManagement import the same way dependencyManagement was done a few years ago to avoid such copy/paste for many people: it would be replaced by 1 pluginManagement import WDYT? Re: maven-antrun-plugin
Thanks for doing this, Enrico! It would be absolutely lovely to see the plugin uplifted to Maven 3 requirement, as the other plugins have, along with other parent/dependency updates, as you mentioned. Also hoping to see ant itself bumped to 1.10.7! Re: maven-antrun-plugin
Shivaji Sorry for late reply. I have some troubles with my local env. I will start working on it as soon as possible. We have to check: - pending blocker tickets in JIRA - pending pull requests - upgrading dependencies and parent poms - build ok on builds.apache.org Then we are good to go. Personally I am not familiar with this plugin but if the build is already stable and we do not have showstoppers the release procedure is quite straightforward Please help me with the checklist above I hope we can cut a release within a couple of week. And other help is very appreciated If any other committer that is used to use and work with this plugin wants to pick this release up then it is worth to think about driving the release Cheers Il Gio 27 Feb 2020, 21:57 Shivaji Thanneeru ha scritto: > Enrico Olivelli > > Can you please release new version of maven-antrun plugin? > > Thanks, > > Shivaji Thanneeru > 610-314-9159 > > > > On Fri, Dec 20, 2019 at 11:45 AM Shivaji Thanneeru < > shivaji.thanne...@gmail.com> wrote: > >> Ok, no problem. >> >> On Fri, Dec 20, 2019 at 11:44 AM Enrico Olivelli >> wrote: >> >>> Shivaji, >>> Unfortunately I don't have time these days, I hope any other committer >>> can volunteer >>> >>> If no one volunteers I can pick this up, but in January >>> >>> Enrico >>> >>> Il ven 20 dic 2019, 17:12 Shivaji Thanneeru >>> ha scritto: >>> >>>> Hi, >>>> MANTRUN-221 resolves a bug introduced by MANTRUN-178, where it >>>> incorrectly >>>> assumes that mavenProject.getProperties() will contain all properties >>>> present in the session. Putting them in the svn project roots would mean maintenance, e.g. the generated LICENSE auto-updates the years. For that reason I wouldn't put them there. IIRC the ASF is not very clear about it, so for that reason there hasn't been made a real decision. thanks, Robert Op Thu, 09 Oct 2014 20:03:05 +0200 schreef Karl Heinz Marbaise khmarba...@gmx.de: Hi Robert, On 10/9/14 7:23 PM, Robert Scholte wrote: there was a discussion about this: are LICENSE and NOTICE also required for the project-roots or only for the distributions? If I recall correctly, we are still waiting for a response whether this is necessary or not. Personally I'm against adding these files in version control because of the unwanted maintenance, as Robert noted. Remember that we have over 100 release roots that we need to maintain. -- Dennis Lundberg Den 9 okt 2014 20:47 skrev Robert Scholte rfscho...@apache.org: Putting them in the svn project roots would mean maintenance, e.g. the generated LICENSE auto-updates the years. Oops my bad it looks there is some files with bad permissions in org/apache/maven/plugins : -rw-r--r-- 1 olamy apcvs40 Sep 29 13:26 maven-metadata.xml.sha1 -rw-r--r-- 1 olamy apcvs32 Sep 29 13:26 maven-metadata.xml.md5 -rw-r--r-- 1 olamy apcvs 6859 Sep 29 13:26 maven-metadata.xml I haven't played the fix-permissions after my last release. Yep, it's also fixed in the latest stage plugin (which needs a release...) However it is stuck on [INFO] Running rename script on the target machine. for quite some time. (Is this expected) This happens if there are permissions to be overwritten. Shell into people.apache.org, change to the location of the repository, and run the script by hand, answering 'yes' to the prompts to overwrite files. Then delete the script. - Brett -- Brett Porter [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://blogs.exist.com/bporter/ - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
