Technically, the icon is not in Confluence menu, but on the wiki page.
Could it be you have the page scrolled, and therefore do not see the
 icon?

Is the username "p...@apache.org" or just "pats"?

Hi Patricia,

I see you have 2 accounts in cwiki, and you just mentioned them
both :)

You had enough perms in your "p...@apache.org" account but
you had zero permissions in your "pats" account.

I assume therefore you have been logging in under "pats" and have
updated that account with appropriate permissions.

Please try again.

The "pats" account works fine now. I see "Edit" as an option next to
"Watch".

In order to avoid confusion in the future can I suggest we delete or deactivate
the other account ? (p...@apache.org) which you haven’t logged into since
June 2013.

Yes please.

This was probably a misunderstanding when I enabled your account. I've
now swapped the two. Privileges had been given to pats at apache.org

Keith had previously sent me a screenshot. I can see the other links in

I think I may have found the problem, but need admin help to sort it

Patricia;
In the OpenOffice space on Confluence the only Account you have is your
apache.org email account and it has all the privileges you need. That is
the username you should be logging into to edit AOO content. Try logging
out of the account that you are in and then login using your apache.org

You usually make a request on doc@ or here on dev@, giving the user name you
have on the CWiki, and one of the administrators will give you the karma. I
know Keith was doing that for folks who wanted to work on documentation.

According to the record we have for such things, Andrea and Dave Fisher can
also do it.
