Try to reset Usage data under Tools Options menu Hello All, I have created a report and I set up some ranges for the report. After that I have created the menu item and put that in a menu. I have changed the some properties of the report in AOT. However, that has not updated to the menu item. For example, the ranges... I have created the menu item, that has not still updated by the Report... What could happen for this situation? that also could be an example of usseing temp tables: 1. create report 2. add temp table to datasorce 3. create design 4. create method that fills your temp tabe with data ( use datasorce's table's name as a reference) 5. call that method in report's init() before super() what happens? in this case temp table also works as a normal table except that you nee dto fill data yourself. No data will be lost after report's fetch() method has been executed. When you log on to Eterprise Protal( EP) you see menu at the left side that corresponds to EPHomePage object in AOT WebMenu branch. EPHomePage has 3 menu references(references to other web menus with particular menu items) You should check EPCustomerSelfService that is also Object in AOT WebMenu branch. It has submenu Shopping Cart with menuitems Quick entry and View Cart. [development-axapta] what works faster?
We develop Enterprise Portal fo our client. THe
problem is that the web form opens with a big amount
of records and calculations and we need to perform
some additional calculations based on filtered
records.
Has anybody had an experience on the performance? what
works faster:
initialize query from webform's datasorce and run thru
the recods by Query run object:

[development-axapta] fieldId - has anybody encountered this situation?
Situation is as follows: I have four tables in my local Axapta appl. development environment and lately during system re-engineering apeared that 5 fields will be no longer necesary in each of them. So I am going to delete these fileds. In addition some new fields may be added to these tables. Later application will be delivered to the customer to test the functionality. Is there a possibility that fields' ids in these tables could be mismatched and weird behaviour of the system occur? [development-axapta] lookup problem
the situation is that client can't see lookup button on his EP web site. I developed web form with lookup buttons nearby some fields. And I see them all ok, but client sees only one. I prefer to use the latter option. well it is different, and web forms come with EP. The idea of working of Web froms is different: what you see on web it is result in html. and working with forms is much more interactive in windows application. So you cannot implement many features from application forms to web forms. (and it is a pain in the ass). The main thing is that when you use web, Axapta logic is accessed on particulary times. [development-axapta] is it possible?
We programm Enterprise portal for our client. Theres is a form where user fills in tha data and then presses add record button. The same form appears, validation is performed and if there are errors info is displayed and the recors isn't added. Client doesn't like the form is displayed with ampty new record line (all values are gone) if there are errors. For some reason the client doesn't like press Back button on web browser and asks to make additional button back at the bootom of the form. [development-axapta] re-registering Buisnes COnnector
Hi, I got a problem with buisness connector. I was working in 3Tier - developing Ent. Portal. Web also was configured so that it works in 3Tier configuration. But I needed to move from 3Tier to 2Tier - working with application and also configure, that web wouldn't use AOS. So I Stopped Buisness conector in 3Tier, even deleted it from COM+. Then I created 2Tier configuration in AxConfig utility, registered new buisness connector. but when i check Buisness Connetctor staus in axapta or i try to accsess web Ent. Portal system reports, that buisness connector is being used by another axapta system. It seems somehow 3Tier configuration is active and 2Tier conf. cannot take effect. one question: i got Autoreport and i set some gouping field, e.g. dimention (cost center). Report prints the code only, but i would like to print the name too of the cost center too. I think it is virtual company case. As it is described: Virtual company accounts contain data that are shared by a number of company accounts. The company accounts that are part of the same virtual company create and manage data in the same database.
