[digitalradio] PSK Deathmatch this weekend

2008-12-08 Thread Steve Hunt
Hi all,

I have a Question.

Are both modes (PSK31 + PSK63) allowed at the same time? Of course
w/only 1 Signal on the Air.

i.e. I call CQ ... get answer ... I work in PSK31 can I ask OM to
switch to psk63 and work him again on same Band?

Am I misunderstanding anything?

[digitalradio] Re: Microphone putting audio into PSK transmissions

2008-06-17 Thread Steve Hunt
Dave, you have to switch to Digital SSB.
By pressing and holding the USB/LSB button for 1 sec. the Radio will
show D-USB or D-LSB.

This will effectively de-couple any Microphone, Radio-wise
(internally).

... workes for me

 In the same boat here...

Finally getting my MRI on next Tuesday 08:30 and then hopefully soon
after... a Solution to my Pain. In my case the Siatic Nerve is
pinched or inflammed, making it very painful to use my left leg.

Colleges at work call me "hoppalong" and really good friends call
me "hopp"

anyway, 73 to both of you

[digitalradio] Re: Microkeyer II and WSJT

2008-01-12 Thread Steve Hunt
Andy, thanks

I found the problem. It was a "unusual" setting in my router software.

In ALL software, I have to check "soundcard PTT". In WSJT6 however
this option has to be unchecked... no soundcard PTT.

Well, we got it working and I ran a few nice QSO's tonight on 80m.

Thanks fer the help, Andy

[digitalradio] Microkeyer II and WSJT

2008-01-12 Thread Steve Hunt
I need help w/WSJT v 5.9.7 or 5.9.8 please.

first off...I need to say that this SW was running with my MK2. But
last weekend I had a harddrive crash and needed to reinstall everything.

MY MK2 workes fine w/DM780 and all my other Ham Software, except this
little JT65A program called WSJT (I use ver. 5.9.8)

As soon as i start the program...my Radio goes into TX. I know it is
not the COM-port that is causing this, because when I select the PC
soundcard it does not go into a TX mode. The TX mode only activates
when I select the Microham USB.

Up on startup of WSJT i get the dos-window where is says...

0 2 0 Microsoft Soundmapper
1 2 0 NVidia Audio
2 2 0 microham CODEC
3 0 2 Microsoft Soundmapper
4 0 2 NVidia Audio
5 0 2 microham CODEC

Request Input 2Output 5

So in the main program i select 2 for the Audio in and i select 5 for
audio out and of course i select 10 for com port 10 (which i defined in
router 5.1.1)

Anybody have any guesses?
 thanks

would it be possible to write something like that via the macro Manager?

exampl. and
so on?

just an idea

The macro could also come in handy on contests ...
using it in the limit on Band changes per hour.

looks good Joe, seems a bit faster also.

Yes a few minor Bugs... Hey can you make it so the first Screen that
comes up is the Login Screen?
Ahh maybe not such a good Idea... if someone just wan't to see ...
without posting.

Anyway cool rewrite
Thanks
