I don't think it's quite that easy, but as soon as Tyler does it let us know. I too got a Fujitsu tablet the 3400 (ebay $150). I saw someone who skinned his bezel so I tried with a Mohogany veneer (my first try). I then got into Netremote which controls my AV system via tcp/ip. I should say I borrowed MOE'S netremote skin and am in the progress of customizing it to my needs, for instance I don't have SAGETV or an LD but I need to change those, but MOE is a Photoshop expert and changing the buttons are a little more difficult for me, so moe if you are a squeezebox owner and happen to see this thanks for a great skin but I need help with the buttons :). Also I was a little vague regarding the OS but I actually wanted to do something similar and just transfering the OS to the HD won't do it (googled it and it was way more in depth). Has something to do with the Digitizer and I believe the OS on it is a special tablet version. I have or mine came with Win 2000. Actually I use a mac mini for my server both audio and video. The tablet I have max's out on RAM at I believe 256 and the HD is a 4G. I have it running wirelessly with a PCMCIA adapter. I too am blown away by XBMC but am interested in controlling it remotely. I have a Logitech Harmony 880 and have heard of controlling it with it but can't seem to get it working. Currently I'm using a wireless game controller which does all kinds of great ajustments etc. My favorite is the fast forward which when done on my laptop (G4 powerbook) I sometimes get a voice sync problem which I have to pause for a couple of seconds to catch up but with the XBOX I never have a problem. Anyone with the Hormony setup? I think the one I downloaded controlled the DVD drive but not XBMC. I recommend it highly by the way. My slimp3 has been stellar ever since I first got it way back when. I turned it on to one of my playlists the other day and walked away when I returned I saw a bunch of 'gobbledegook' scrolling across the screen (music still playing). I thought that was odd so I did a reset (pulled the plug) and got back to the Time/Date screen so I thought no problem. Started a different playlist and the same thing happened again. I'm running 6.5.1, firmware 2.2 - I have two other SB2's and no problems there. I still get the Time/Date when I do a reset but get the mumbled screen when playing. Any suggestions? Slimdevices community ROCKS.. in less than 15min I'm back up and running...wait , maybe I spoke too soon I just saw some 'gibberish' run across the screen but now it's back to normal. I've upgraded the firmware and now I'll do a good cleaning. It looks like that maybe the problem. But like I said once again the slim community comes through. You did almost everything right - instead of making an alias of HD2 and putting it in the music folder you need to make a 'symbolic link' of HD2 and put it in the music folder. Do a version tracker search for symbolic link - I believe there is a program that's called symbolic linker that does a good job and that should be it for both questions 1 2. Actually the Audrey isn't bad but maybe a better looking tablet with instant on (WinCe) would be the 'epods' tablet that has an active Hack group and can run wirelessly with a pcmcia card. UPDATE: I did a rescan without using itunes, which I really want mostly for the playlists and everything worked Album Art etc. So now I have to work on my itunes setup to get it back to where it was. Just got my Nokia 770 and immediately upgraded to test out the Nokia skin. Mac OS X.4, itunes, 6.5b1 - prior to this I was using 6.2.1. I have my album art under Artist,Album, cover.jpg. The only Album Art I can see now is the ones I have in iTunes. I did a rescan on a 6000+ song count and it seemed to take way longer than before. Any Help - I didn't put this in the Nokia post because it's universal with all skins. Let me back track - changing to 'cover.jpeg' may have been a one off situation because it didn't work on any others that I did. I did as kdf suggested (debug and wipe) and I got some artwork but not all. Worked prior to 6.5 but only picks up some 'cover.jpg'. Not exactly sure how to do an attachment for the log.txt that I got for the debug, but any help would be much appreciated.
