Due to some virus being passed through our family steve and I will not be

FYI

I'll be there around 3pm to continue work on both bathrooms.

If anybody has painting skills, they can paint the rear bathroom door.  One
side has the first coat of orange, the other is ready to paint.  Two coats
of paint are necessary.  It is off the hinges, on a table, in the front
room, ready to paint.

I will be installing the new sink and faucet (thanks to Justin Herman!)
today.

Yes, lots of work.  If you're interested in the general buildout of the
space, I'd recommend joining the bu...@synhak.org list.

You can do so by sending an email to build-subscr...@synhak.org and
replying to the automatic email that comes back with the subject line
intact.

secretary drawer and explain anything you may want to know.

Additionally as a new board member and officer I would encourage you to

If any SH member with a key plans to be at SH on Sunday (8am to 7pm ) or
Monday (8am to 9pm) or Tuesday (8am to 6pm), please post the hours in this
thread.

I can come to SH any or all three days to continue and complete the
painting in both bathrooms.

Would like to have both bathrooms finished by 6pm on Tuesday, in time for
the weekly meeting.

If anybody else has painting skills, feel free to join in the fun.

[SH-Discuss] Open Hours

TWIMC,
Hello! So I am asking anyone who holds hours or who fills in for hours that
if they can not make it on time, that they inform everyone via the
discussion list until we come up with a better schedule.  Today I got to
the space at four thirty thinking it would be open (since we open at four)
and no one was here.  As a member who doesn't have a key yet (Andrew, if
you are reading this, I filled out the application I believe early last
week, please get on that), and as a member who has a long drive to get
here, this is very frustrating.  If someone can't make hours, that's fine
whatever.  But please, notify the discuss list BEFORE open hours are meant
to start.  Hopefully we can soon figure something out so one person doesn't
volunteer for the majority of the hours anymore, since that isn't very
fair.  Happy Hacking!

key, I go to the space whenever I have time and open it up if its closed

you need someone to take over hours suddenly, I'm pretty comfortable
packing up the kids and taking them down there now.

Howdy hackers, as a reminder to those members who have committed open hours
to the space, we have been getting our name out there in the world recently
and showing the face of synhak at community events. It is especially
important that we maintain our advertised open hours to give those who
couldn't visit during the meetings or open house a chance to come in and
see/use this place. If your circumstances have changed since you committed
hours (and it has for most of us since the schedule of open hours is almost
a year old), I say lets find new hours that fits everyone's busy schedule
and post the changes on our website.

I understand we all have lives outside synhak that include school, work,
kids, etc. and that this is a volunteer basis. Synhak is gaining a presence
and we ought to find a solution that works for everybody.

[SH-Discuss] Open Hours

Howdy, hakkers.

We need to expand our open hours. Currently, we are open from 7p-10p on
Tuesday and 6p-10p on Wednesday. I'm pledging to be at the space from
12p-5p on Saturday (with an exception for the 19th when I'm at Ohayocon
in Columbus)

Anyone else want to sign up for when they'll be around, or offer to
handle my hours on the 19th?
