If you're a Windows user, you could use WinPT, which includes the

I don't know if GnuPG plugs into Outlook/Outlook Express or not, but it

Well the backpackers I know over here have all said they just needed their
passport and another form of ID. I think you have to make a personal
appearance though.

So if I were you I would catch the next flight before summer is completely

yahoo greetings arrive via a URL view.greetings.yahoo.com

Price is important, but there are other things to consider than who the

Of course, like wine, a lower priced entry CAN be surprisingly good.

Mr. Donald has built software, such as that digsig thing he uses on

[e-gold-list] ALERT : another of those please login messages, but with a twist

2003-04-02 Thread Robert S.Z.
Hello everyone,

We just received one of the usual messages about logging into our e-gold
accounts , or else... (comp. below)
The interesting twist on this one is that we got exactly as many messages
as we have e-gold accounts (group-wide) and to make things really
interesting the headers are forged. Meaning, the message claims to come
from ReviewAcctBot and from e-gold, which is nothing special, BUT the
source shows that the message was in fact sent from our own machine -
which the server logs show to be incorrect.
The question is, did anyone else get the messages and do the headers in
those show that the origin was us - or alternatively your own server?
If so, then this is the first time that someone with some network knowhow
is giving it a shot and it's likely to be a matter of time for him/them to
figure ot how to spoof headers that match e-gold's own - which then *IS* a
reason for concern.
Of course, there are still a lot of items that show the message as being
forged (notably the fact that they don't know how to spell e-gold and
the fact that the URL misses the 'S' at http), but they are getting
better...

Message follows below, tech comments are welcome ;o)
Cheers,
Robert.

[e-gold-list] Re: Australian bank account

2003-04-02 Thread Robert S.Z.
Short of going there and providing two pieces of ID, it might be
difficult.
Unless, of course, you get a lawyer to register a trading name for you (or
your company) and then have a staffer open an account for you using that
trading name...
Australia keeps tabs and is just a quarter-step short of cross-linking the
extensive databases of the various departments and ministries for
security reasons.
So the actual offshore value of such an account is questionable.

Send me private mail if you wish to discuss the subject further.

Cheers,
Robert.
