The current version of the KRX3 installation instructions errata has this
item:

Page 34, Figure 39: Delete the note and arrow on the left side starting with
On some older K3 RF Boards
Insert the following note: If jumper W4 is not in J64A as shown, it is hard
wired on the RF board in front of J64A near to toroid L33. You may need to
remove the KBPF3 board temporarily to cut and remove the jumper.

jumber soldered between two pads located between J64A and the KIO3 board.
My K3 RF board is Rev A.  W4 is hard wired between two pads located between
J64A and the KBPF3 board mounted above the K3 RF board.  It looks as if I am
going to have to temporarily remove the KBPF3 board to remove this jumper.
Am I missing something here?  Roy Morris  W4WFB

No, you might have to take it out. I used a dental pick to break the 
jumper on my K3 (serial no. 7).
