[FairfieldLife] 'Erik Jan Hanussen and The Palace of the Occult'
Erik Jan Hanussen (Hermann Steinschneider) June 2, 1889 – March 25, 1933 Being a stage magician seems like a rather fun occupation. Make some coins disappear, pull a rabbit out of a hat, slice a lovely assistant in half. All that to an applause of a delighted audience. Is this your card? But what happens when good stage magicians... GO BAD? Meet Erik Jan Hanussen, who claimed to be a Danish aristocrat but in reality was Hermann Steinschneider, a Czech Jew. He started as a stage magician in Germany in the 1920s, but went farther than that. Hanussen dabbled in clairvoyance, astrology, and the paranormal, converting a Berlin mansion into "The Palace of the Occult". Sadly, he didn't stop there. For all the bored housewives and swanky aristocrats that sought Hanussen's services, there was one client who wanted to know more. A client who Hanussen taught the value of stage presence, dramatic gesturing, and crowd control. A client who used what he learned to win over Germany... and the rest was history. Sadly for Hanussen, it did not end well. Days after the Nazis took complete control in 1933, Hanussen was assassinated, because of his Jewish origins, because his influence on Hitler was feared by the likes of Goering and Goebbels. And, because, Goebbels, Goering and Count Helldorf, had owed a great deal of money to Hanussen, they found it quite easy to do away with him...in the early Spring of 1933. His body was found north of Berlin, riddled with bullets and badly disfigured by wild boars.

Steve - wtf, what are you reading my naive friend? There's no one on this planet that can clean my clock much less the retarded raunchy doll. Not because I'm poweful, because my power comes from my utter powerlessness. Because I'm not attached to my personality, I'm untouched. I don't hide anything, I'm utterly open and totally vulnerable. Are you really this clueless. No wonder Judy comes after you for your stupid thoughtless comments. Raunchy doll is all caught up in her twisted fantasies, I'll get to her soon. In fact my intention was to tick her off and I have succeeded :-). I love it. The word Hijra is translated to eunuch, has nothing to with gays. I have lot of gay friends and love them. I have had gays hitting on me and how I had so much fun, I have posted about it in detail. Here it is - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/message/294028 I had a recent experience in Venice. This was an older man who was gay and he started hitting on me. I had such fun with him. I told him I felt honored but that I was straight. We both flirted with each other eventhough I'm not gay myself. I fucking challenge anyone to match my behavior. We talked about how straight men take offense at being hit on by gay men. In fact I helped him a lot that night. He got very open, very vulnerable with him. He was drunk but he cried and was utterly open to me. He narrated all his childhood stories, of how he could never find true love and how he yearned for love. After I was done talking to him he felt really good, especially one suggestion really made him feel very good. He asked me if I was a Hindu god is disguise, a Guru or Kali. Unfortunately the next morning his ego caught up to him. He felt very ashamed of crying and being vulnerable to me. He probably felt he gave away lot of power to me not realizing I wouldn't harm anyone. He profusely apologized to me while I was being loving throughout. And then he totally avoided me. Poor fellow, he got scared :-) On Dec 2, 2011, at 9:10 PM, "seventhray1" wrote: >I'd say Ravi just got his clock cleaned. Judy, I, for one, miss you when you post out; yesterday would have been a lot more interesting with your contributions. I don't particularly question Barry's claim he peed on Einsteins leg, anymore than I question all his *fame by association* claims, but the first time I read a post with this claim, he also stated: turquoiseb wrote: "For those interested in these sciency things, it looks as if the guy whose leg I once peed on (as an infant, mind you, and I have no memory of the event) may have been w...w...wrong about the speed of light. If my grandfather's story of me having some loss of bladder control while being bounced on his knee was correct, it was probably contact with my unevolved pee that eventually produced the mistake." My reading of his post is that he is claiming his pee influenced Einstein's SRT (special relativity theory) which was published in 1905, his GRT (general relativity theory) work was published until 1916, but it was 1919 before Sir Arthur Eddington proved the GRT which let to Einstien's Noble in 1921, and, for that time, his rock star status. For Barry's claim to be accurate he would have to be more than a hundred years old (maybe the wife is right: "you're far to cynical") "We have found a strange footprint on the shores of the unknown. We have devised profound theories, one after another, to account for its origins. At last, we have succeeded in reconstructing the creature that made the footprint. And lo! And why did you suggest that Barry would have had to have been "somewhat north of 106" for his story to be true? I'm serious here. Einstein died in 1955; Barry was born around 1946. [FairfieldLife] IT'S NOW OFFICIAL WE LIVE IN A POLICE STATE LIKE NAZI GERMANY
Senate Passes Controversial Defense Bill| Print | WRITTEN BY RAVEN CLABOUGH FRIDAY, 02 DECEMBER 2011 12:00 In the midst of allegations of police brutality and police aggression at the OWS protests, the U.S. Senate approved a bill that is said to "explicitly create a police state": the National Defense Authorization Act. The NDAA, passed by a vote of 93 to 7, virtually stated that all of the United States may be considered a battlefield, and therefore the American military is permitted to indefinitely detain any American perceived to be a threat. Several amendments were proposed by both Democrats and Republican Senators, which would have deleted the dangerous provisions that would allow the indefinite detention of American citizens. While most of those amendments were overwhelming voted down, a single compromise amendment was passed that was intended to quell fears that American citizens may be imprisoned indefinitely, though skeptics remain uncomfortable with the final outcome. According to Firedoglake.com, sections 1031 and 1032 of the NDAA will: 1) Explicitly authorize the federal government to indefinitely imprison without charge or trial American citizens and others picked up inside and outside the United States; (2) Mandate military detention of some civilians who would otherwise be outside of military control, including civilians picked up within the United States itself; and (3) Transfer to the Department of Defense core prosecutorial, investigative, law enforcement, penal, and custodial authority and responsibility now held by the Department of Justice. AddictingInfo.org adds: A provision of S. 1867, or the National Defense Authorization Act bill, written by Senators John McCain and Carl Levin, declares American soil a battlefield and allows the President and all future Chief Executives to order the military to arrest and detain American citizens, innocent or not, without charge or trial. In other words, if this bill passes and the President signs it, OWS protesters or any American could end up arrested and indefinitely locked up by the military without the guaranteed right to due process or a speedy trial. Both Senators Mark Udall (D) and Rand Paul (R) proposed amendments to the bill that would have weakened the more dangerous provisions. Udall's amendment would have eliminated provisions regarding the handling of terrorism suspects, while Paul's amendment had far more teeth and would have struck 1031 from the legislation altogether. Both amendments were overwhelmingly rejected, Udall's by a vote of 37 to 61 and Paul's by 30 to 67. "The United States Senate has a solemn obligation to our men and women in uniform to pass a Defense Authorization Act, but we also owe it to those fighting the war on terror to prevent rushed, untested and legally controversial limitations on their operations. I can't support provisions that I believe will hurt our national security," Udall said prior to the vote. "We haven't had time to adequately consider these provisions. We need to know what our military and intelligence experts and our men and women in the field actually need to most effectively prosecute the war on terror, especially before we change detainee provisions that are already working. I'm urging my colleagues to support my amendment so we can prevent a White House veto, move forward with the NDAA and reach a workable resolution on the detainee provisions." Senator Dianne Feinstein of California also proposed an amendment that would have limited mandatory military custody for suspected terrorists captured outside the United States, but that amendment was rejected as well by a vote of 45-55. A second amendment proposed by Feinstein that would have prohibited U.S. citizens from being held in indefinite detention without being charged or brought to a trial failed by a vote of 45 to 55. In the end, Senators Feinstein and Lindsey Graham worked out a deal to pass an amendment that states, "Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect existing law or authorities relating to the detention of United States citizens, lawful resident aliens of the United States or any other persons who are captured or arrested in the United States." That compromise amendment passed 99 to 1, with only Senator Jon Kyl voting against it. As noted by the Huffington Post: The passage may head off a showdown with the White House, which had threatened to veto the entire bill on the grounds that the section on detentions tied the hands of counterterrorism officials in law enforcement and the military . Left unresolved by the new language is just exactly what is constitutional when it comes to detaining American citizens in the United States. But opponents of the original provision said at least it would remain up to judges, not politicians. "To this day the Supreme Court has never ruled on whether it is constitutional to indefinitely deta

One of the last bits of information that Maharishi gave out, Had to do with the conscept of 'Unity Consciousness being structured from; 'Infinity and the Point'... He said that this happens after 'Descriminating Between {purusha and prakriti]... Meaning that once 'Being was Established' on it's own level...seperate and stable within itself. Then this would be the 'Experence of Purusha'... Then a 'Field of Duality is Created, whereby, The 'Witness Value' percieves all that is not the 'Self'... As prakriti, or 'All of Nature'... Then once this 'Duality is Clarified', then... One can make the 'Final Distinction' between 'Cognizing the Being within and the being without'... in a way George Harrison had it write when he wrote, 'That life goes on within you and without you... The darkness drops again but now I know That twenty centuries of stony sleep Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle, And what rough beast, its hour come round at last, Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born? Anybody who can type "W.B. Yeats / Joni Mitchell" without writhing in embarrassment after reading the above needs a soul transplant. --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, Vaj wrote: > > Turning and turning > Within the widening gyre > The falcon cannot hear the falconer > Things fall apart > The center cannot hold > And a blood dimmed tide > Is loosed upon the world > > Nothing is sacred > The ceremony sinks > Innocence is drowned > In anarchy > The best lack conviction > Given some time to think > And the worst are full of passion > Without mercy > > Surely some revelation is at hand > Surely it's the second coming > And the wrath has finally taken form > For what is this rough beast > Its hour come at last > Slouching towards Bethlehem to be born > Slouching towards Bethlehem to be born > > Hoping and hoping > As if by my weak faith > The spirit of this world > Would heal and rise > Vast are the shadows > That straddle and strafe > And struggle in the darkness > Troubling my eyes > > Shaped like a lion > It has the head of a man > With a gaze as blank > And pitiless as the sun > And it's moving its slow thighs > Across the desert sands > Through dark indignant > Reeling falcons > > Surely some revelation is at hand > Surely it's the second coming > And the wrath has finally taken form > For what is this rough beast > Its hour come at last > Slouching towards Bethlehem to be born > Slouching towards Bethlehem to be born > > Raging and raging > It rises from the deep > Opening its eyes > After twenty centuries > Vexed to a nightmare > Out of a stony sleep > By a rocking cradle > By the Sea of Galilee > > Surely some revelation is at hand > Surely it's the second coming > And the wrath has finally taken form > For what is this rough beast? > Its hour come at last > Slouching towards Bethlehem to be born > Slouching towards Bethlehem to be born > > W.B. The extraordinary hypocrisy of this paragraph only throws its vicious malice into high relief. It's difficult to imagine the desperately disordered state of mind of the person who wrote it. It would stand out as an example of mental pathology *even if* "meditative disease" were a reality, and *even if* "Mahesh & Co." were guilty of producing it. Y'all understand what's going on here, right? The intention is to cause Robin serious distress by threatening the possibility of posting video to YouTube of Robin's "seminars" during his crazy period. If Vaj could be straightforward about his motivation, it would be more or less understandable: Robin has called Vaj's whole persona on FFL in question, and Vaj wants to retaliate. What's so sinister is the way Vaj tries to *hide* his need for vengeance by attempting to disguise it as simply a matter of wanting to further a "new field" of scientific research. The *blandness* of the hypocrisy is truly horrifying. We've had sickos on FFL, but none to top Vaj.

And why did you suggest that Barry would have had to have been "somewhat north of 106" for his story to be true? I'm serious here. Einstein died in 1955; Barry was born around 1946. Chronologically, it's entirely possible. WTF?

The fascinating thing is how much the lies from a few here resemble the ones MediaMatters exposes from Republicans (and a few Democrats, but mostly Republicans). It's as if they were working from the same playbook and with the same utter lack of conscience. My feeling is that the reason lying has gotten so bad in politics is because the rest of us have become gradually more and more insensitive to it. It seems to me that exposing lies closer to home, in our own communities, our "playgrounds," as you put it--where we can actually do something about it--both trains our critical thinking abilities to spot lies more readily, and empowers us to oppose and sanction liars in the public sphere. But if we just throw up our hands and ignore the lies told by "locals," we're more likely to do the same with the lies we're told by politicians (and corporations and bankers and the media). At any rate, Robin now knows beyond any shadow of a doubt what he suspected: that Vaj is, in fact, a casual and cold-blooded liar. And so does anyone else who has followed this episode as it unfolded. As I said, this lie was relatively trivial. But if he'll lie so easily about something so trivial and so easy to expose, what does it say about the likelihood that he tells lies that are more difficult to rebut, and that he's told lies to us before about many things, even things we never suspected were lies? A person who tells lies with so little concern has a habit of lying; it's the way he's learned to deal with life when its realities don't suit him. And BTW, a likely sign of a chronic liar is that when one of their lies has been exposed, they either try to cover it up, or they don't even address it and instead accuse their accusers of lying. > --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, "authfriend" wrote: > > > > --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, Vaj wrote: > > > > > > On Nov 29, 2011, at 9:09 PM, Alex Stanley wrote: > > > > > > > --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, Vaj wrote: > > > > > > > > > > On Nov 29, 2011, at 6:51 PM, maskedzebra wrote: > > > > > > > > > > > Vajradhatu: > > > > > > > > > > > > You have refused to engage with me in an honest conversation, > > > > > > > > > > Well Robin - that's a good start, for you given you're totally > > > > > still hiding behind a false email address! Judy, Look at Alex's video here - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/message/296996. I found it hilarious that a publicly gay man would post a video on girlie-men. Feste, a psychotic and a mystic look alike.. Reference: http://www.critpsynet.freeuk.com/KUNDALIN.htm No feste, you are confused. It's not psycho, it's manic. Utter mania, bliss as I feel one with my beloved. When I'm with myself, I'm deeply introverted as if I alone exist. When I'm interacting with the other, it's pure extroverting, I merge with the beloved. Re: [FairfieldLife] Ravi Yogi's video response to Alex
Bob, I knew you would love it. Tell the wife that almost everyone who sees me in my manic mood thinks I'm nuts, stoned, manic, psychotic, at least they feel very disconcerted, unable to really comprehend. As I say Ravi Yogi doesn't need alcohol or drugs, he is totally high on life, high on the divine vodka. In fact I have tried drinking alcohol and marijuana and now they only give me a big fucking headache. Thanks for the suggestions. Like I said I'm waiting on the existence to find me an agent so I can piss off the pimps, the festes, the Alexs and entertain the lovers, the Bobs, the Obbas, the Emilys.. Judy, Look at Alex's video here - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/message/296996. I found it hilarious that a publicly gay man would post a video on girlie-men. Barry2-ji, Thank you for suggestions. I can't help laughing because not only is my beloved silly, I'm silly too. I'm mocking myself and my creation. Your Guru is outdated, all will be once Ravi Yogi hits the circuit. Kali's pimp loves yellow, orange, think Guru, think Surya, think Dhanush Lagna. You can't compare me to Gurus like yours, they are conservative assholes who are lazy bums out here to make money or deceive others. Whereas Ravi Yogi is the true American Yogi, Indian heart, western intellect. I don't need anyone's money, I didn't come here solely to make money and followers. I care for none. I will unconditionally hate pimps and unconditionally love lovers.I have supported myself, my family, paid taxes and love America unlike these assholes. I'm going to rip apart loser Gurus like these. No offense to you personally. On Dec 2, 2011, at 5:43 PM, Bob Price wrote: > R.A.V.I. Y.O.G.I. I.S. A. F.U.*.K.I.N.G. To place it in the context of the USA, it would be like Mestizo descendants of Don Juan Matus suddenly begin dissolving into rainbow light over the Southwest, multiplying and their leader crosses the border into Rick Perry's Texas. > Khachab Rinpoche took Bon Dzogchen teachings from Lopon Tenzin Namdak and > personally verified their authentic nature along with their correspondences > to Nyingma Dzochen. Dear Judy - it has nothing to do with his homosexuality. Don't you think it's disgusting that he is gay and then he posts some stupid videos calling others girlie-men? Alex, being a moderator doesn't give you a license to indulge in blatant lies, you ARE still in the closet, practicing your Waking down moves. Don't you fucking dare lie !! And you little bitch, my glasses are Fossil and more than the monthly mortgage, rent of that trailer you live in Iowa. Very cute, pretending to not know which Tom I was referring to, it's your pal Tom Pall. And dear Obba thanks for your comments. Yes I have sacrificed my life in the study of the West coast intellectuals since 1997, 7 years in Seattle, 7 years in the Bay area, and now in LA. I have aped these natives habits, mannerisms, their accent. That's why I talk so much about the west coast liberal, Gandhi, Teresa, Dolly Lama worshipping, pacifist, communist perverted intellect. My research is coming to a finish soon !! Feste - I'm not surprised at your response at all. I think you deserve a video response This is what surprised about Robin, he reads me perfectly but called Osho as nuts, I'm as nuts as Osho, totally manic, totally psychotic, clinically insane in my narcissistic unconditional love, unconditional hatred. Yeah Robin's awesome. I just enjoy the way he slowly, methodically decimated, with that sheer burden of those heavy, beautiful words. I have ran into Jason before. He is just a fucking retard. A wannabe spiritual thug. These retards feel so insignificant, insubstantial, inconsequential yet would like to be special; get jealous of the people who they think have attained some sort of specialness that they feel vey threatened by it. Fascinated with the personality, the elusive, evasive, enchanting perfection of the personality, of the outer. Pathetic. Sad. Pitiful. Alex - I'm trying something new, here's my video response to you. Watch this video first, currently in rage in India, which is a celebration of the Indian accent (now this is South Indian accent, not Russell Peters's dad) http://youtu.be/YR12Z8f1Dh8 (The song is sung by a character who is dumped by a girl and now is drunk. Then he sings the song Why this Kolaveri di which means "Why did you do this to me" or "Why you dumped me".) [FairfieldLife] Re: Shring? Buddhist and Hindu mantras.
I already addressed this in a post about the primal bijas of Rig-Veda, all pointed out by Brahmarshi Daivarata. You however are probably more versed in chanting the riks than he was. To bad for you since you can read but are unable to understand what you read. Here it is again for you to forget again. I'm sure you know better, anyway. Gupta! Gupta! The Rigveda speaks of the primal cosmic word called akshara, meaning what is imperishable. The mantra o.m does not appear with any significance in the Rigveda, though it is well known in the Yajurveda but other mantric sounds do occur. Most common in the Rigveda is the mantra ii.m, which is a common interjection in many hymns. The Yajurveda speaks with reverence of this word, "Reverence to the sound ii.m" (Taittriya Samhita VII.1.19.1). The great modern yogi, Kavyakantha Ganapati Muni, the chief disciple of Ramana Maharshi, explains in detail the importance of ii.m as the great mantra from the Rigveda, its form of the Prananva, eqivanlent of om, as representing the Cosmic Word (Ganapati Muni Collected Works, Vol. VI, Vishvamimansa V.4.18). Ganapati Muni's disciple Brahmarshi Daivarata does so as well. (Brahmarshi Daivarata, Vak Sudha, Chaper 6). It was from Daivarata that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi received much of his Vedic knowledge. He brought Daivarata to the West as well a spending time with him in India. Through the power of the mantra ii.m, the secret of all Vedic mantras can be revealed. Brahmarshi Daivarata revealed the great mantra ii.m o.m shri.h, which is to be followed by the Gayatri Mantra (Vak Sudha, opening page). >From "Mantra Yoga and Primal Sound, Secrets of Seed (Bija) Mantras" by David Frawley. --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, "richardatrwilliamsdotus" wrote: > > > > emptybill: > > Go look up "sphota" and "shabda brahman". Em, I actually set the drum tracks at one quarter the decibel level that I used for for everything else - I don't know if that is a logarithmic difference on this software program, though I suspect it is. I built up a strong tempo and liked it as a driver but didn't want to overwhelm the rest of the song. As for the pace, just before we met, my wife sailed from Tahiti, west across the Pacific, Indian, and Atlantic oceans to the coast of Venezuela in a 32 foot sailboat with just one other person, and I always wanted after the fact to ensure she was traveling quickly. --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, Emily Reyn wrote: > > Interesting interplay of the up-tempo energy (beat) against the wave-like > background. > > > > > > > From: whynotnow7 > >To: FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com > >Sent: Tuesday, November 29, 2011 5:34 PM > >Subject: [FairfieldLife] Forgot the link! - duh.
