Levitating from a stage, with no visible means of physical support, in
front of a large group of people, is probably the larger challenge. The
first thing to do is light up some punk. Next, what you have to do is
serve some tasty refreshments at the door.

much heat, heavy snowfalls, volcanoes, tidal waves, earthquakes,
etc.
The numbers of people murdered, robbed and injured also are
increasing. Countries where there is terrible unrest, riots,
revolutions, etc. indicate that these places are heavily inhabited by
such destructive people who are causing turmoil wherever they are.

It is said that Mars and Saturn are impious planets and when they
shine brightly in the skies it is not a good sign. It is understood
that when there are constant disturbances on Earth it is a sign that
the destructive evil population is increasing, and as a result, fear
is generated among the good people and they do not know where to

The only place anyone can turn for refuge is to God.

If the unwanted destructive population continues to increase, the
Earth will become like hell. These destructive people are not
 concerned with developing a trade or honorable profession in life;

In essence, this is transferring Hell to this Earth. Destruction

They would also wage war without any good reason except for personal

 afterlife.

Some on this Earth believe the power of God to be only material, and

Even demons, when they are active in their destructive ways, believe
that their power is awesome and that God is hiding from them. Such
is
the nature of their delusiveness. Again, they are very much
disturbed
when there is a religious fervor or a spiritual wave among the
people
for they fear this even though they do not know why or believe this.

Those of a demonic or destructive nature always believe that if they
have great wealth and power this will save them from the wrath of
God.
They believe all on Earth to be their property. When it isn't, and
in
countries where they try to drive God out and suppress religion,
they

In pure Goodness there cannot possibly be any contamination of

The main thrust of humanity in life is to gain oneness with God, or
the pure light, and not become lost in the lesser expressions of

between material enjoyment and spiritual enjoyment is that material
enjoyment has limitations and spiritual enjoyment has no end and it

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Reuters) - The Live Earth global pop

As the last two of the nine Live Earth concerts got underway,
MSN product manager Karin Muskopf said the number of streams had
surpassed the previous record held by 2005's Live 8 global concerts to

We have exceeded any other online entertainment event, Muskopf
said. It's really exciting to see the enthusiasm for the concert.
An Internet stream is when a person watches on a computer.
People can stream an event more than once -- by switching it on and

watching, MSN said.
Live 8 was the first major multi-venue event successfully
streamed live with Time Warner Inc.'s AOL portal on the Web. AOL said
5 million people had logged on to the event on the day of those shows,
but it did not say how many Internet streams of the event there had been.
MSN said it would not be able to immediately determine the
number of people who logged on to Live Earth.
Control Room, producer of Live Earth and Live 8, said it found
that the on-demand streams in the days after the Live 8 had the most
impact, especially after clips were passed around by e-mail.
Live 8 was streamed by users more than 100 million times in the
six weeks following the shows.
Live Earth is predicted to be three times bigger with organizers
expecting more than 80 percent of the viewership will be on-demand in
the days after the event.

Fairfield, with 9,459 residents, has more restaurants per capita than
San Francisco, and is a surprisingly sustainable and cosmopolitan

Your image of southeast Iowa probably doesn't include the world's
premier ayurvedic health spa, more restaurants per capita than San
Francisco or 25 art galleries on the downtown square, but these are
just some of the many features of Fairfield, a surprisingly
sustainable and cosmopolitan town.

Since 1971, Fairfield has been home to Maharishi University of
Management, founded by the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. What began as an
effort to teach India's ancient principles of health and peace to
Americans has spread into many aspects of life in the community.
Fairfield hosts an Eco-Fair every year, and has the most homes with
solar energy or other green building features in Iowa. The county has
the most acres of organic cultivation in the state. It also has earned
praise for its entrepreneurial spirit — many small businesses thrive
there.

Two miles north of Fairfield is Maharishi Vedic City, where all homes
are designed and built according to the principles of ayurvedic
architecture, in which each building faces east and has a central
silent space called a Brahmasthan and a golden roof ornament called a
kalash. The sale of nonorganic food is banned in the city, and
construction recently began on what will be 100 acres of greenhouses
powered by wind and solar energy for the year-round production of
organic food.

Population: 9,459
County: Jefferson
Climate: hot summers; cold winters; rainy springs
Cost of living index: 79.7
Median home price: $96,200
Alternative energy: net metering and renewable energy incentives

OK Thanks- Quite a title!
Speaking of dreamspaces, I went to a great place last night- exactly
like an earth city, only very light and absolutely clean and fresh
and sparkling. But had all the other stuff, like skyscrapers and
shops, and buses, highways and gas stations and [friendly] cops.
More colorful too. Very nice place! Really enjoyed it.

Yes, when the cognition flows effortlessly into speech due to its
reflection in the physiology/nervous system/body vs laborious
memorization. The latter may be a path for some, though.

Nor is memorizing them partiularly high on my to-do list. I chant
about 20-30 a night before going to sleep. I also take the time to
read most of the commentary for each chant before going on to the next
one.

I have been doing this for only about a week now, but have noticed
immediate and profound benefits. But then, most if not all of my
recent breakthroughs in deeper understandings are attributable to my
recent Durga-yagya attendances. (I also recomend Conscious Loving by
the Hendrickses.)

I also cannot overlook the profound atmosphere of Fairfield and its
*numerous* saints, both sung and unsung, with whom we contantly
associate. Both of us are thoroughly content here; it is like an ocean
of Love :-)

Scientists are just now starting to be able to detect planets smaller
than Jupiter in other solar systems, so no-one can claim to know the
answer to your question, at least in a verifiable way.

Cough. The astroids-as-former-planet theory was refuted many decades
ago. It's a failed planet, not a former planet.

Why, it's documented in Heinlein's _Stranger in a Strange Land_: the

Reading Markandeya Purana, the Bhagavatam, Mahabharata you can
find out all
  the
different worlds that exist, have existed, and will exist. Where
they exist,
  why they exist,
what and whom exists in them.

But look at the Hubble Deep Space Field photo, or Ultra Deep Space
Field,
and you realize that there are trillions of galaxies out there, and
that no
written account of the civilizations in the universe could cover
anything
more than a tiny fraction of them.

Not to mention thatif the universe is infinite, then there are an
infinite variation possible island universes win an infinite
permutation of possible histories for each including an infinite
number of possible civilizations and their historical alternates.

Hey Jim! Many thanks; I am most happy to hear you are digging it. As
you see, I have shifted gears a bit, taking care of the
few densities remaining here on my own time, in my own field, in
silence -- and using FFL rather as a forum to think out loud,
helping me ground and flesh out various understandings and
hypotheses.

Some may say that your writing is weird or something. I for one
find it a refreshing view of life that is as normal as it is
refreshing.

A little of both, I reckon :-)

After all I am sure that there are places other than Earth where
similar writings to yours are seen as similar to what we here
appreciate as doctoral theses in our most historic universities.
Not quite mundane, but certainly commonplace, and well understood
underpinnings of cognition.

*lol* That's what I (and I suspect many of us) often do in deep
sleep -- go to various realms and download stuff :-)

It makes me wonder what this world would be like if more that many
of us here on this list take as common experience was widely
understood as such. (not that I mind it the way it is...)

Yes, it is all good!

Along those lines, I realize I erred in calling my previous post a 9-
chakra map -- it really is 27 (sub-)chakras (of course) :-) ... and
along those same lines, that three-tier (guna, subguna, sub-subguna)
27-state system is really begging to be seen *all* as 27 substates
of a Maha-Brahma, part of a more inclusive 81-state (four-tier)
system including a 27-state Maha-Vishnu and a 27-state Maha-
Shiva...the lovely thing about 81 states (or subchakras) is it
allows for a fully-fleshed 9 x 9 matrix including holographic
subcastes of all nine castes, dealing with all nine states of Being:
Nine categories of Servant, dealing with the elemental realm; nine
of Artisan, dealing with the mineral realm (base center; material
objects) nine of Merchant, dealing with the vegetable realm (sex
center; prana, food); nine tiers of Military, dealing with the
animal realm (navel center; power); nine forms of Ruler, dealing
with the human realm (Hrit center or Solar Plexus; mercy and
judgement); nine of the Clerics (Brahmans) dealing with the
ancestral realm (heart center; compassion and devotion; symbolism
and ritual); nine of the Mages dealing with the Angelic realm
(throat center; magical vibration; music and speech); nine of the
Sages or Seers dealing with the divine realm (brow center; time and
space); and nine of the Elohim dealing with the Unified realm
(crown center)...and again, Servant, Ruler, and Elohim are
essentially the same...kind of all reminds me of Tolkien's nine
rings...:-)

Interestingly (perhaps), within the larger context, the old 27-state
model only embraced the kshatriyas, the rajas, and the Brahmans --
the middle three of the nine consciousness-castes...:-)

Just reminded me of an invention I found in my sleep the other
night, taking the link between musical media and personal choice
further, blending in synthesis.

So the way it worked was that a person would hum a melody, allowing
for pitch settings (sharp, flat, etc.) and then the invention would
produce the melody in the context and instrumentation of whatever
genre of music was desired; country, rock, classical, reggae,
whatever. The melody could be enhanced, sustained, or elaborated as
the musician went along. Sort of a musical sketchpad for the non-
musician. Also came up with a body-as-instrument interface,
activated by dancing, a few weeks ago.

Such things occur to me frequently when I am sleeping. Definitely

I am not surprised such ideas have occurred elsewhere. My personal
experience is of designing these things as I move from deep sleep to
awakening, and they seem very very real, with clear components. You
have your own mundane explanations. This is mine.

[FairfieldLife] Re: Other Earth-like worlds?

2005-11-07 Thread John
To all:

This info might be related to this thread. I have a book called the
Lemurian Scrolls, written by a Shaivite guru based in Hawaii, which
is considered a revelation to the Shaivite community comparable to
the other vedic texts. The book deals with highly evolved species or
entities who had traveled for millions of light years to live here on
Earth. These species have attained the status of spirits with no
material bodies. As such, they were able to travel the cosmos using
the Sun as the sign post for finding Earth.

When they arrived on Earth, they relied on the native peoples of
Earth to provide them with the vehicle to materialize in bodily
forms. This process was done when fruits and vegetables were placed
in a portal (a la Star Trek teleportation) for the cosmic travelers
to imbibe the earth essence and materialize here on Earth.

Regards,

John R.

Re: [FairfieldLife] Re: Other Earth-like worlds?

2005-11-07 Thread Vaj
The world where the human species live is formed by four spheres
called Bhur, Bhuvar, Svar and Mahar. Bhur is the earth, Bhuvar the
atmosphere, Svar the planetary world and Mahar an extraplanetary
world, perhaps the one we attribute these days to the
extraterrestrials. Its duration is longer than that of the
terrestrial world. It is there that some men will find refuge at the
time of the catastrophe that will destroy the entire species at the
end of the Kali Yuga.

When the dissolution of the world seems imminent, some people
abandon the earth during the last days of the Kalpa and take refuge
in the world of Mahar [the extraplanetary world] and from there will
return to the world of life (jana-loka). [Linga Purana 1.4.39-40]

These few humans who survive the holocaust will be the progenitors of
the future humanity.

Seven humanities must again succeed each other on earth, and, when
the Golden Age reappears, seven sages will emerge to again teach the
divine law to the few survivors of the four castes. [Shiva Purana
5.4.40-70].

My current understanding -- open to revision -- is Bhur-loka
(correlated with the base chakra) is the physical plane; Bhuvar-loka
(sex chakra) is the astral plane, and our biosphere; Swarga-loka
(navel) is the mental (Manasic) plane and the planet as a whole
(whereas Hrit, the Sacred Heart between the navel and the heart,
equates to the Sun and Solar System); and Mahar-loka (heart) is the
intuitional (Buddhic) plane, which includes (I believe) the
constellation-awareness embracing our Sun, and centered more
specifically perhaps in the Sirius system.

Jana-loka (throat) is the Atmic plane of Mahat, associated with
galactic-consciousness. Interestingly, the 27-state system places Jana-
loka in the gap between state 17 (Brahma-Shiva-Shiva, complement of
transcendence-II), Purva Ashada nakshatra, and state 18 (Shiva-Vishnu-
Vishnu, complement of transcendence-I), Uttara Ashadha nakshatra.
Purva Ashada is delta Sagittarii and Uttara Ashada is sigma
Sagittarii, which places the gap itself in Sagittarius, lately
acknowledged as the location of our Galactic center. This gap would be
the afterimage Vishnu-Brahma-Brahma, or birth... perhaps the birth
of our Galaxy :-)

the astral plane; Swarga-loka (midway between sex and navel, gap

like galactic-cluster-consciousness, and Sat-loka (bindu-point above

Again, this is only a (rather crude) map, ommitting the harmonics

the lowest (Bhur-loka) and the midmost (Mahar-loka): the triple-
Sun of the earth-chakra below our feet, the heaven-chakra overhead,

Hey Rory! I really enjoyed reading this post, as I do many of yours.
I just enjoy reading the clarity that is manifest, like looking into
the future, albeit through the differential lens of your perspective.

Some may say that your writing is weird or something. I for one find
it a refreshing view of life that is as normal as it is refreshing.

After all I am sure that there are places other than Earth where
similar writings to yours are seen as similar to what we here
appreciate as doctoral theses in our most historic universities. Not
quite mundane, but certainly commonplace, and well understood
underpinnings of cognition.

It makes me wonder what this world would be like if more that many
of us here on this list take as common experience was widely
understood as such. (not that I mind it the way it is...)
