Can't help you with this one Buck and I admit to think it is more than silly to
get upset or even question how people dress. Haven't you been abroad ? Do you
get upset when you see an Egyptian or Indian dressed in robes ? Let people
dress however they want and if someone has a problem with that they need to
change their thinking and become more broadminded. A checking would help. You
could organize mass checkings in your area and turn these silly prejudices
completely around in a matter of weeks.

Afterwords, out in the Dome entry area and on the sidewalks to the parking
areas as the meeting closed and people left: a big WTF reaction was, that they
actually came wearing the gold foil hats and robes and stuff. I can't say that
Alex's brother or some of those others following after Maharaja Adhiraj
Rajaraam also in full regalia did not necessarily look or seem particularly
ethereal in the cult outfit. Though that might have just been the bad light on
them. It did sort of look and feel like The Return of the King set for The Lord

It was just a little narcissistic. However, Hagelin and our other movement

optional for him when making public appearances. I know that I would be tempted
to make such a proclamation, were I him.

It also clears teh way for him to appear on Oprah, of course. One hopes taht
he isn't planning on pulling a Chopra on Oprah when if does so and promote
himself instead of TM and Maharishi Ayurveda.

There is a difference: Rama had apparently already accomplished the 2nd stage
of yogic flying and we presume that King Tony is still working on the 1st
stage. And, that leaves you still sitting on the ground at the cafe table. Go

 Speech-writing. If I
were writing the speech for Maharaja Adhiraj
Rajaraam, CEO of all of TM, I'd reach out for George
 VI's speech to
the UK given by radio broadcast on the eve of war with the
 Nazis:
 Text:
 In these grave hour,
perhaps the most fateful in history, I send
to every household of meditators, both at home in Fairfield
 and in
the world, this message, spoken with the same depth of
 feeling for
each one of you as if I were able to cross your threshold
 and speak
 to you myself.
For this time in the lives of most of spiritual
 people, we are at
war with an ignorance of anti-science, anti-spiritual, and
 meditation haters.
Over and over again, we have tried to find a peaceful
 way out of
the differences between ourselves and those who are now our
 enemies,
but it has been in vain.
We have been forced into a conflict, for which we are
 called, with
our spiritual allies to meet the challenge of a principle
 which, if
it were to prevail, would be fatal to any civilized and
 spiritual
people in the world. It is a principle which permits
people in the selfish pursuit of
vile power to disregard inalienable treaties to humanity and
 solemn
spiritual potential of birthright, which sanctions the use
 of force
or threat of force against the sovereignty and independence
 of all
spiritual happiness and given basic right of natural law as
 humans in
the Unified Field.Such a principle of these apostate
 anti-science and anti-spiritual
haters, stripped of all disguise, is surely the mere
 primitive
doctrine that might is right, and if this principle were
 established
throughout the world, the freedom of our own spiritual
 sovereignty
and of all civil nations would be in danger. But far
more than this, the peoples of the world would be kept in
bondage of fear, ignorance and all hopes of settled peace
 and of the
security of justice and liberty among nations and spiritual
 seekers,
would be ended. This is the ultimate issue which
confronts us. For the sake of all
we ourselves hold dear, and of the world order and peace, it
 is
unthinkable that we should refuse to meet the challenge as
 transcendentalists.
It is to this high purpose that I now call all
 transcendentalists
at home and transcendentalists across the seas who will make
 our
cause their own.I ask them to meditate in
 transcendent calm and adamantine
spiritual firmness of field effect be united in this time of
trial. The task will be hard. There may be dark days
 ahead, and war can
no longer be confined to the battlefield, but we can only do
 the
right as we see the right, and reverently commit to our
 cause of the
Unified Field. If one and all we keep resolutely faithful to
 our
meditation, ready for whatever service or sacrifice it may
 demand,
then with the Unified Field Transcendent help of science and
 prudent
 public policy, we shall prevail.
May the Unified Field bless and keep us all with its
 Grace.Jai Guru Dev,M.A.R.

Actually turq, even in the poster announcing the meeting, Dr. Nader is wearing

This meeting tonite is incredibly extremely really important for
all of Transcendental Meditation.
Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, CEO of all of TM, will speak to the meditating
community.

With all due respect, you are presenting this as if this guy who lied to the
entire TM community for years is doing you some kind of *honor* by deigning to
speak to you, presumably while wearing robes and a crown and calling himself a
king. I can only hope that there is a "call and response" segment of his talk,
so that you can thank him properly (0:30-1:30):
