[Fink-devel] denyhosts-py25
Howdy fink developers, Murali is busy with other projects and so I'm interested in taking over maintainership of denyhosts-py25. Should I simply submit a package on the tracker with the new maintainer info? Oh, I also need to subscribe to this list from a different address as this one will be retired one day. Here would be my preferred: chupacerv...@gmail.com It's been a while since I've been active so any pointers are welcome, Robert [Here's Murali's response to the inquiry:] I am working at a start-up company and have other things in hand as well. I would be more than happy for my packages to be taken over by other maintainers, as I cannot put any time in towards Fink. With many thanks. Wow, everyone is awake and on the ball this morning! I just started my first cup of coffee! Last question for now, I have X11-2.4.0_beta2 installed, it doesn't seem to me that this should make any difference for package maintenance, but I figured it would be better to ask. Oh, I'm still watching last night's Gold Cup games so don't tell me who won. Re: [Fink-devel] denyhosts-py25
I'm in Europe for a couple more days so I've been awake for hours. :-) It's possible that packages may build differently against your X11 beta than against the released macosxforge X11 or Apple's official setup. You don't have to downgrade, but be prepared for that possibility. Chupacerveza wrote: Wow, everyone is awake and on the ball this morning! I just started my first cup of coffee! [Fink-devel] incrtcl-20071231cvs.tgz link broken again
I thought this was fixed few months back. On x86_64 we need to be able to download the incrtcl-20071231cvs.tgz file for the itcl-x86_64 variant and the itk-20071231cvs.tgz file for the itk-x86_64 variant. Unless I am confused, David Morrison (after some initial confusion) finally placed those tarballs on the fink servers (which aren't available otherwise since they are custom cvs tarballs). We seem to have lost access to those two tarballs so that building ccp4 is impossible now on x86_64 fink (since it needs itcl/itk). Can we please get this fixed again?
