PNFPG spring fling ,Prydarson colt for sale

2007-05-21 Thread schnabl

This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I know this comes a bit late, but I just wanted to add some positive feedback
for the PNFPG spring fling in Moses lake.
A Non Fjord friend(she owns a Quarterhorse and a Standardbred) came with
me and she was very taken with the Fjord People friendliness and
helpfulness. She felt more welcome than at any other horse event she had ever
been to.By the end of the weekend she was almost ready to purchase a
Fjord.Way to be guys, that's another good way to promote the breed!

On another note,I wanted to spread the word that I have a very handsome
Prydarson colt for sale.Lasse will celebrate his first birthday in June
and as always I am having a hard time letting my babies go.
Lasse is registered with the NFHR(# 06-5259-S)and microchipped.
Both his sire Prydarson and dam Mia (GRomar X Moo) are registered
in Canada and the US.
Lasse is a pure joy to have around. His ground manners are excellent and
everything is just s easy with him.
He loves to be groomed and bathed, stands still for his mane clipping and
feet trimming,leads nicely .
His conformation and movement are athletic, balanced and pleasant. He will
definitely be on the taller side.

This colt has a lot of potential as a stallion or performance gelding.
We are asking $US 4500.
Please e-mail privately for pictures and more info.
We are located in Southern BC.

Konggard colt for sale, and just an idea...

2007-04-21 Thread sam Stanley
This message is from: sam Stanley [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hello All,
It has been a very long time since I have posted anything, I am generally a
confirmed Lurker. However I have a few nice Fjords for sale, and one in
particular I would love to present an idea for the list regarding Lines,
evaluating a prospect for stallion material, confirmation etc.. placing a
monetary value etc..

What if.. I took video to post on U-tube of a stud colt I have here and
anyone interested in participating could post feed back on the impressions of
his suitability etc.. what ever came to mind. I am interested in everyone's
input as if this was a colt in there own barn and they had to make the
decisions about him and the breeding behind him.
  Would anyone participate?
If so what would you like to see on a video?

Is this a good Idea or one people would feel was taking advantage of the list
members ?

He is a 2 yr old Stud colt.. He is Konggard and Dena cross. Papers pending.

I have scheduled his date for gelding May 16th.
I am not properly set up for raising a stallion so he will be gelding before
fly season if he stays with me for any length of time.So far he has been quite
easy to manage with only some mild moments of hormonal awakenings.. This is not
a bid for a free evaluation ;) for a prospect for me, I don't have that level
of savvy to teach kids while learning to raise and train a stallion on a tiny
farm!
Personally, I would value and appreciate any thoughts on his lines or feed
back about him from the many knowledgeable folks on this list.I have always
wondered how you really know at stalion prospect at a very young age. So far he
is a treat to be around and a nice fellow to look at ( a big change from last
year) I know what I see and would find fault with, but it would be a neat
education of sorts if some of you were willing to post feed back for us all to
see and learn from. It is not my intent to take advantage, so let me know if
this is a bit rude or out of bounds. (sorry, i think I am repeating myself)
After reading the post re blood lines and up coming evaluations, it just
popped into my head to try this. Would it be a bad idea to talk a bit about
what makes a stallion prospect, what if there is only one left in a line worth
preserving, what faults are forgivable?

  Other horses for sale..
18 yr old Gest son, nice fellow would make a very nice pleasure riding
companion and trail riding buddy.

6 yr old dressage prospect, very forward, had a bit of time off and is being
restarted, he is a Gem waiting for polish this guy! I am excited to see how he
shapes up over the next few weeks.

4 yr old mare sweet and in your pocket! can not be registered, not a thing
wrong with her other than that! She is a lovely mare who will make an
excellent driving partner.

Please E-mail me privately for more details and pricing on the nice horses.

  Thank you,
  Sam Stanley

Colt For Sale

2004-09-04 Thread Northhorse
This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

We have a fabulous 3 month old colt for sale. His bloodlines are the
culmination of what I think are some of the very best fjordhorses in the U.S.A.
 His
sire is Gayle's great reining stallion, Dusty. His dam is Holly who is the
daughter of Misha and my Juniper (Juniper is my favorite horse in the world!).
With these bloodlines it would have been hard to go wrong. And we didn't.
He is a very athletic, just beautiful young colt. It will be hard to give him
up, but I think he's got fabulous stallion potential. I'm not geared for
stallions and even if I were, all my mares are closely related to him. So,
anybody looking for a good natured, well put together, athletic colt, drop me a
line.

BAYSHORE OLIVER (Gingard x SF Willow) is an outstanding Fjord colt, foaled
in September 2002. His imported Dutch bloodlines carry Elite and A-premie
evaluations in both sire and dam making him of serious show quality. Oliver
will mature to 14.2, is very leggy and a super mover. He is simply too cute
with the funniest sense of humor... truly everyone's favorite on the Farm.
This
colt enjoys handling and trains easily. Being handled daily, Oliver is off
to a great start. We have scheduled the vet. for December 16th to geld him
unless the buyer prefers not to do so prior to that date. He will be a
fabulous
Fjord for riding (Dressage) and driving when he matures! Bayshore Oliver
(raf) is being offered for sale very reasonably to the right home. If
interested, please contact Karen Emirzian, Green Meadow Farm, Wilbraham,

  Dear List. from Brian Jensen;
We have a brown dunn colt of stallion potential for sale.
His Dam is Penfrydd's Rayetta from Kongard and Myerstein lines. His Sire is
Trinity's Samstein
from Sambar and Gromar lines. To my eye he is as correct as any Fjord we
have produced over the past 15 years. Leggy with good bone, a great
shoulder, and overall nice
conformation and pleasing lines.
As we already have two very athletic tractable
stallions--Penfrydd's Raynor Trinity's Samstein... there
is no place for another stallion here, even a young one. I could use lots
of superlatives to discribe this fellow but would prefer to talk to serious

Stud Colt for Sale (Reduced Price)

This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi Everyone, I have had Tenne for sale locally for a time, but here in Western
Montana, nothing is moving. So I have reduced his price drastically, because I
have a quick financial need.

Tenne BD 3/30/01 (almost a year old)
Dam: OPAL (Rudaren grandaughter and Hanson lines)
Sire QUAD-L's KAISER (Rusten son)

Tenne is a big colt, both sire and dam are drafty fjords, Tenne will mature as
a gelding to aprox 15 hands. He leads, loads, trailers, trims, and is very
sweet. He was shown at Libby in halter and weanling obstacle classes as well
as the kids costume class. Some of you may remember us taking first place with
our 3Mile Fire Dept. entry, the foals were dressed up as Dalmations and the
adorable Noonan and Nagel kids led them.

His price for a VERY SHORT TIME only is $1600.

Also we can do a team sale with his half brother Kasey (Sarah Nagel's colt,
same age) for $3700

Email me for more info, if you need to, and also pass the word around for me

Yearling colt for sale

This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hello all

I hate to post the following message, but I've found in my limited experience
with horses, the more time I spend with them the more I bond with them; so,
we are selling our yearling colt. I simply don't have time to work with all
the horses I've collected and don't have a potential job for this colt in the
years to come. I would love for him to be that special horse to someone.
He is a bit on the drafty side and at 1 1/2 yrs old stands almost 13.2. His
nature is very quiet, so quiet in fact, that I've never in the year we have
owned him seen him truly afraid of anything. He has had a harness put on
him and it was a non-event . I've put my grandchildren on his back and he
doesn't react anymore than he does when one of my chickens hop up there. I
think, when the time comes, he will be easy to train.

His father is a canadian born horse -- Kervan Hostarsonson of Hostar
His mother is also canadian born -- Lulla both her sire and dam (if
I am
 able to
read my registration
 papers
correctly) are Norwegian
 born
(there is an N after their

  name on pedigree)

Filly and Colt for sale

This message is from: Ingrid Ivic [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hello All...

Haven't posted anything for sale for a while, so here goes:

A year and a half old, NFHR registered filly, by the name of FM Jillian.
She will be 2 in May. Halters, leads, loads, ties (cross-ties or goes into a
tie stall overnight), excellent for vet (shots, worming...no big deal) or
farrier (no need to prop her up against a wall, will stand... LOL), a real
sweetheart. She will look very much like her mom, Mira (NFA of NA reg.).
Huge eyes, neat head with small ears, brown dun, nice striping and lots
of
thick, beautiful hair. DNA typed, Great conformation, very willing to
learn...pays close attention! Show her something a few times, she'll
remember...smart little cookie.
This filly is being ground driven at present. Knows voice commands:
Walk-on
and Baaack very well. We are working on Trrr-rot and she's catching on
quick. Has been introduced to all sorts of tack...been bridled and has worn
surcingle, blankets and pads. Will be ready to drive by late spring 2001. We
will continue to work with her throughout the winter. Should mature to around
13.3 hands. Dam: Mira (King Harald, Gjestarson breeding) Sire: BDF Malcome
Locke. Asking $3,500 presently.

A year and a half old, NFHR registered colt, FM Julian (will also be
2 in
May)...has had all the same training (and cuddling *grin*) as the filly
above...VERY easy to handle. Not yet gelded. Wonderful, easy going
temperament, nice conformation. Lighter dun in color, but still with nice
striping and good thick mane and tail. Has respect for people, does not bite,
or strike. Stands quietly for mane trimming, grooming, farrier or vet work.
Leads loads, ties, bathes, etc..all that good stuff! He will be driving this
coming spring of 2001 as well. He will reach at least 14 to 14.1 hands. Sire:
BDF Malcome Locke Dam: Lilla. Asking $5000 entire...$3,500 if gelded.

Coggins + Health Certificate are provided by us at no extra charge.
Transportation can be arranged by us as well...excellent references.

Thanks for reading!

I guess it's time to start advertising my boy. :(
I have a handsome little fellow for saleor he will be once he's weaned
(another month) He should mature to 14 - 14.2 hands.
He's going to be the athletic type. He's a brown dun. Looks like he's going
to have nice striping on his legs. His sire is Drafn (out of Jomfrurosa; by
Sanjar 3.pr.) and his dam is Malene Stanstorp (out of Muddi Stanstorp 1.pr.
; by Caesar Halsnaes 1.pr I kl.2.gr)
His sire Drafn is an EXCELLENT driving horse, light on the bit and
responsive. His dam has competed in competitive trail riding and has even
placed first. She is very smooth to ride and exceeds at western and English
pleasure riding. (or did in her younger days) Due too a VERY bad accident
(involving mud hornets) she does not drive any longer.
If anyone is interested in this handsome fellow, please contact me privately
for photos and more info.
We are located in Central Maine, and are asking $2,800 for him. His call
name is Riley (for the red hair that has just HATED to leave his mane :)

Yearling, Stud Colt for Sale

2000-05-31 Thread MNoonan931
This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi everyone, With much regret, we have had to reduce the herd. We are still
very new to this horse business and it takes awhile to get your herd just
right for your family, income, and riding abilities.
As you guys know, My husband is disabled, and we have found an awesome Fjord
gelding for him, (his previous gelding came up with bad arthritis this
winter) BUT we need to sell Harrison to get him.
After much prayer, research and discussion, we realize that we are not
experienced enough to handle an up and coming Stallion, even though at this
stage he's a gentle lamb.
We really think Harrison has a great bloodline and conformation to be a
potential stud for someone. It just can't be us. I will allow the buyer to
decide If they want a gelding or not.
His pedigree is: Sire Boe's Gustov (C-902) by Thorvald (C-284), and Mona
(C-285)by Heino
Dam :Opal (C-701) by Hansen (C-348), and Jullie
(C-308) (out of Rudaren)

Harrison (Harry) is halter trained, doing well in halter classes, (open
shows) and started ground driving, he is not acting studdy at this stage and
has good manners. He has the prettiest face I've seen on a yearling (thanks
to Opal) and has alot of movement (thanks to Gustov and Opal)
He will be big, Opal throws VERY large babies, and she is big herself .

Of course I am predjudice to this little guy, he is our first foal, but I've
had other breeders look at him to look at his conformation.
I'd love to evaluate him but can't afford the trip!!
If you are interested, or know someone who might be, Have them email me.
I'm working on some more current pictures, (I have two dozen of his first 24
hours)

Also got a Arab/Qtr/Walker Mare (10) in foal for a 2001 Mule, for sale, She
does everything, except be a disabled persons horse, Endurance, Trail,
Gymkhana, 4H, poles. $1700 Pass the word to your friends!!
