Re: [flexcoders] Re: couple of flexmdi questions

2008-03-06 Thread Jehanzeb Musani
Hello Ben,

Yes it is but I believe this is the only way I can use
flexmdi to show popups on top of the main applicatin
UI. If I specify any container for MDIManager that is
part of the main UI, the popups will be displayed
within that container, not on top of the main UI.

[flexcoders] Odd keyboard behaviour for TextArea - bug?

2008-03-06 Thread Giles Roadnight
We need to make our app accessible so all buttons / text ect must be
accessible by the keyboard.

We have a text area in our app and the behaviour for keyboard users is a bit
odd.

You can tab to the text area ok but then if you use Page Down or spacebar to
scroll the text field it goes to the very end of the text. You can then use
page up to go to teh top and page down to step down again but this is less
than ideal.

A sample app that demonstrates this (built in Flex 3 release version):

Re: [flexcoders] Module Size Issue

I dont know how to enable framework caching (RSL). So
I am not sure whether the main application and modules
are compiled with it or without it.

I believe framework caching is disable is by default.
If that's true, then the compilation would be without

 Hello,

 I have designed an application that loads
 features
 (implemented as modules) at runtime. I want
 to
 minimize the size of the modules so I am
 using
 link-report and load-externs compiler
 options
 for
 main applicaiton and features respectively.

 A couple of days before, report.xml generated
 by
 link-report compiler option was of 344 KB and
 includes
 links to my custom libraries too. Now when I
 am
 compiling the main application (after updates
 have
 been incorporated to main application and
features),
 the size of the report.xml is only 16KB. I am
 attaching both report.xml files;
 reportPrev.xml
 (644KB) and reportNew.xml (16KB). Moreover,
 if I
am
 using the previous report.xml file to link
 during
 the
 compilation of features, the size of the
 resulting
 swf
 of the feature is 0 KB.

 Can anyone tell me what can be the reason for
that?

 Regards,
 Jehanzeb

You can't.
MP3 has no Digital Restriction Management (DRM) features, which is why it
works on anything.

 One idea is don't allow the user to download the original file and
 play the file directly from internet (work like a subscription
 mechanism). Problem with this approach : the user always need internet
 connection, loading time for low bandwidth connections

That's the only way I can see to do it. But your user can always share their
username and password, or their whole internet connection (if you lock logins
to the origin IP address).

What sort of threat levels are you defending against, and how valuable are
these MP3s ?
For instance, the major music labels are now distributing their music as MP3,
obvious without DRM. Are your speeches more valuable ?

   using

  A couple of days before, report.xml generated

 features),
  the size of the report.xml is only 16KB. I am
  attaching both report.xml files;
   reportPrev.xml
  (644KB) and reportNew.xml (16KB). Moreover,
   if I
 am
  using the previous report.xml file to link
   during
  the
  compilation of features, the size of the
   resulting
  swf
  of the feature is 0 KB.

  Can anyone tell me what can be the reason for
 that?

 You know what, you're right. We had thought about trying to make the
 distinction in this version but then realized that it complicated the
 license language a whole lot and didn't think enough people would have a
 problem paying for their server license to make it worth trying to adjust.
 I had to go find my old notes to remember this. You cannot imagine how
 many hours were spent on the license :-)

OK, which bit is right then :-)
a) A Flex 3 data vis. licence is per-machine, you need one for your dev. box
and one for your build server, just like Flex 2 charting.
b) A Flex 3 data vis. licence is shareable, you can reuse the one from your
dev. box on your build server, but no where else.
c) A Flex 3 data vis. licence is a site licence, and can be reused on as many
machines on one site as needed.

My bet is a), right ?

[flexcoders] Odd keyboard behaviour for TextArea - bug?

2008-03-06 Thread Giles Roadnight
Apologies if this comes through twice, I don't think it worked the
first time.

We need to make our app accessible so all buttons / text ect must be
accessible by the keyboard.

We have a text area in our app and the behaviour for keyboard users is
a bit odd.

You can tab to the text area ok but then if you use Page Down or
spacebar to scroll the text field it goes to the very end of the text.
You can then use page up to go to teh top and page down to step down
again but this is less than ideal.

[flexcoders] Refactoring with Flex Builder 3

2008-03-06 Thread Todd
Am I the only one that has such huge problems with the rename
refactoring support in FB3? Most of the time it leads to FB3 just
hanging on the dialog box with the finding references progress bar
stuck at 30%, and then when I press the cancel button nothing happens.

I've always had this issue with it during the betas and now in the
release.

Any one have any suggestions on troubleshooting this? Or, does anyone
else find it as unreliable as I do to the point where I'm scared every
time I try it. *whips up a voodoo spell*

[flexcoders] Replacing accentuated characters with their ASCII equivalents

2008-03-06 Thread gers32
Hi,

Is there an existing function that would allow me to replace
accentuated characters with their ASCII equivalents (e.g., 'à' - 'a',

I need it so that I can then do a case-insensitive SQL search, after
also converting to upper or lower-case letters.

I could write one from scratch, but there must be an existing
ActionScript function, right?

Thanks,

Chris.

[flexcoders] Trouble with resource files and language display

2008-03-06 Thread Andrew Wetmore
I am using FB beta 3 (will be buying the real deal in a day or so). I
have noticed an odd thing when I create properties files. The project
is set to UTF-8 encoding, but when I create a properties file its
encoding is set to ISO-8859.1, which it calls default. Why doesn't
the file inherit the properties set for the whole project?

When I try to set the encoding to UTF-8 I get warnings that this
conflicts with the encoding set in the content type. I have not seen
any place except in the project properties where I can set a default
encoding, and that is, as I said, already set to UTF-8.

Moreover, although the project is set to UTF-8 and the wrapper HTML
page is also so set, accented characters in some of the languages I
need to work with are not displaying properly. I can see the
characters correctly in the modified properties file, but when I call
them into the compiled app they appear as boxes. I have checked, and
my Firefox settings are also set to UTF-8.

[flexcoders] Re: MP3 web site

2008-03-06 Thread Todd
To add, if DRM is important to you, you should look into a commercial
product that does this. Both Apple and MSFT are constantly thwarting
people's attacks at breaking the DRM, and unless you have a small
staff to manage all this...

So, some other ways of supporting some DRMd base solutions:

Adobe' Media Server:  http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/
 (this isn't Mp3, but the process to convert MP3s is pretty
straightforward)

Microsoft's DRM (just a FAQ, but will let you know what you're getting
into): http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/drm/faq.aspx

You could also look at Apple's Quicktime AAC DRM stuff, though I'm not
really sure if Apple sells a product to create your own content with it.

I can only believe that any solution you come up with yourself will:
1) probably be easily subverted
2) potentially make something that should be a simple experience for
for your consumer a headache -- it just takes one time of having a
false positive to piss your users. Limiting to IP is probably a
mistake this day an age with people listening to MP3s on all thier
portable devices, etc.

As a consumer, if I download an MP3, I'm assuming I can play that
thing ANYWHERE.

[flexcoders] DragEvent propagation

2008-03-06 Thread toofah_gm
I have two objects on a canvas...both of which are Drag listeners and
can accept various Drops. These objects overlap one another.

If I drag an object over the two objects, only the one at the top of
the Z-order, (TextArea), gets the Drag events. It is blocking the
object underneath from getting these events, even though the object
underneath is viewable through it. If the TextArea on top does not
accept the Drop, can I have the DragEvent somehow propogated down to
the object underneath it so that it also has a chance to accept the drop?

Thanks!

Re: [flexcoders] Module Size Issue - Resolved

2008-03-06 Thread Jehanzeb Musani
Hello,

Thanks to all for your replies.

A colleague of mine has resolved the issue. The issue
was not becuase of framework caching or anything
related to flex builder project or compiler setting.
It was due to the css files in the project.

Previously we have not selected the Compile CSS to
SWF option on css files. At that time link-report and
load-extern compiler options were working as expected.
After that we have turned on that option on our css
files. When we compared the previous and current
.actionScriptProperties file, we found that
difference. After turning off that option, link-report
and load-extern compiler options are working properly
with latest code.

What are the circumstances around this? Perhaps we can offer you a different

[flexcoders] Re: Refactoring with Flex Builder 3

2008-03-06 Thread m88e24
I have the same experience and stopped using it. Refactoring goes a
lot further then the simple renaming support Flex Builder 3 is
providing. For people like me who are accustomed to sophisticated
refactoring support available in the Java Eclipse environment, this so
called refactoring support is way to simple. Don't get me wrong I
appreciate the effort the people from Adobe put into it but at this
time of writing the renaming support is pretty unreliable and I'm
scared accidentally obfuscating my code using it.

[flexcoders] AMFPHP returning XML

2008-03-06 Thread Kevin Aebig
Hey all,

I've got a method I just added that returns back an XML string, but for some
reason it's now throwing an error of AMFPHP_INEXISTANT_METHOD which makes no
sense as the method has been verified otherways.

I've got about 15 other methods in place and working, so the install is good
and functional. I've verified that it's not some kind of caching issue by
renaming the method and the call to something different and yet the error
persists. As well, I've found other people online with the same unresolved
issue.

Has anyone returned back an XML tree string through AMFPHP 1.9 and did you
have any difficulties?

Cheers,

[flexcoders] wrapper and CFM code

2008-03-06 Thread Chad Gray
I am customizing the index.template.html so it will contain my CF code.

I tried renaming index.templates.html to index.template.cfm and it produces a
file index.cfm in the bin-debug folder.

Why doesn't it produce {application name}.cfm?

The index.cfm is fine, but I have to go to the properties of the application
and change the Run Debug settings to point to the index.cfm file.

What is the proper way of doing this? I am reading the docs building and
deploying and it says you can use ASP, CFM etc with the wrapper, but it gives
no examples.

[flexcoders] How to capture submenu click event

2008-03-06 Thread valdhor
I have a menubar in my Flex 3 application and am trying to create
another application to administer this menu system. Part of this is to
be able to modify submenus so i need a way to capture when a submenu
is clicked (I can get all the other menus with an itemclick event
handler). According to the documentation:

itemClick
(MenuEvent.ITEM_CLICK) Dispatched when a user selects an enabled menu
item of type normal, check, or radio. This event is not dispatched
when a user selects a menu item of type separator, a menu item that
opens a submenu, or a disabled menu item.

What I need is a way to capture a click on a menu item that opens a
submenu.

Now, I have figured one way to do it (And it works) and that is to add
eventlisteners to each menu for rolloverevent and clickevent. When a
menu is rolled over, the menu item is checked to see if its data is
top and if so, a string variable is set to the menu item label; If
not then the same string variable is set to an empty string. Then, if
a menu item is clicked, the clickevent handler checks to see if the
length of that string variable is greater than 0. If it is, then hey
presto, the user must have clicked on a submenu.

This seems like a very kludgy way to do this and I was wondering if
there is a better way to do it.

[flexcoders] Best Practice knowing when renderer is ready

2008-03-06 Thread Amy
Hi, all;

I am revisiting something I built a couple of months ago, and I'd like
to upgrade it to reflect better practices if possible. I have a
function I run on data change that updates the renderer to reflect the
state of the data item. Unfortunately, the first time the data change
runs on an item renderer, the components inside the renderer aren't
ready, so I wound up getting errors. I fixed this basically with brute
force and ignorance by setting an isWhole variable in the
creationComplete handler. Quick, easy, and it worked. But I have a
feeling this is not how the experts would handle this situation.

So, what is the best practice for this situation?

Thanks;

Since the filtering and sorting affects the iterator over the
ArrayCollection, I believe you could create a new ArrayCollection,
then do a for each over your current ArrayCollection, adding those
items to your new AC. The result will be a new AC with references to
the currently filtered and sorted items in ordered. Then you can apply
your sorting/filtering to the new AC so it will affect any future
iterations after adding items.

 in the new collection even though its filter status and sorted

[flexcoders] Errors in Export Project but not in normal build or debug...

I'm using FB3, not beta. I'm getting all sorts of strange errors while
exporting through Project / Export Release Build, but I'm not getting

Any ideas?

ps: Errors that are stated in the Export Release Build dialogue don't
make any sense.

[flexcoders] BarChart Bug when using a Series LabelFunction and type=stacked

2008-03-06 Thread Sherpa_Ed
Once I moved my code from Beta 3 to the released version, a new bug
appeared. Here's the dump, with the problem description below:

TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null
object reference.
mx.charts::BarChart/http://www.adobe.com/2006/flex/mx/internal::measureLabels()[C:\Work\flex\dmv_automation\projects\datavisualisation\src\mx\charts\BarChart.as:672]

mx.core::UIComponent/callLaterDispatcher2()[E:\dev\3.0.x\frameworks\projects\framework\src\mx\core\UIComponent.as:8460]

Essentiall, I have a simple BarChart with 2 series.
If I don't set a labelFunction on the barSeries, all is good. Once I
add my labelFunction, which when reduced for diagnosing this bug only
returns test (or whatever test I try), I get the dump pretty
quickly. If I change the barChart.type to clustered, it's fine, but
having both stacked AND the barSeries labelFunction will cause this
bug.
Keep in mind that I have data being fed into the chart so I can't
guarantee that it will fail just using static data, since it doesn't
always fail immediately for me. Within seconds, though.

So - the question is - in looking at the dump, is the problem on my
end, or Adobes? I've looked at the mx_internal measureLabels() code,
but can't determine what else I can change to get past this issue.

Thanks for any help with this.

RE: [flexcoders] Re: Embedding a SWF file in Flex

2008-03-06 Thread Blake Barrett
you can either use a Loader in ActionScript, the loaded swf will be in
its .content property; or you could use an mx:SWFLoader
source=http://myUrl.com/ component and again the loaded swf will be
in its .content property.
As Tracy pointed out you cannot control anything that is compiled for
flash 8 or below without using LocalConnection. If it has been compiled
for Flash 9 or AS3 then you can just reach into it and control things
that way... like this:

private function init () : void{
var myLoader : Loader = new Loader ();
myLoader.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, loaderHandler);
myLoader.load (new URLRequest ( 'http://www.myUrl.com' );

}
private function loaderHandler (e : Event):void{
// add some code to throw it on the stage
(myLoader.content as MovieClip).play();  // -- that doesn't work if
the swf is a Flash 8 or older swf
}

Hope that helps.

Ba aware that it is difficult to communicate with an AS2-based swf from
an AS3 application, expecially if you have no control over the loaded
swf.

I would like to add one thing to it, it's really weird
that link-report and load-extern options were not
working becuase of turning on Compile CSS to SWF on

compiler options, so they should work as expected.

 A colleague of mine has resolved the issue. The
 issue
 was not becuase of framework caching or anything
 related to flex builder project or compiler setting.
 It was due to the css files in the project.

 Previously we have not selected the Compile CSS to
 SWF option on css files. At that time link-report
 and
 load-extern compiler options were working as
 expected.
 After that we have turned on that option on our css
 files. When we compared the previous and current

 difference. After turning off that option,
 link-report
 and load-extern compiler options are working
 properly
 with latest code.

If the TextArea on top does not
accept the Drop, can I have the DragEvent somehow propogated down to
the object underneath it so that it also has a chance to accept the
drop?

Thanks!

having a labelFunction isn't the issue. The problem is in setting a
labelPosition, whether inside or outside. Once text is display,

fatal mixture is:
1) 2 Bar Series

Latin is not a supported language (just kidding).

Yeah, I'd call this a bug. What is happening is that the cursor I-Beam
(if it were editable) is at the end of the text so pageUp/Down is
relative to that point. Since we leave the scrollPosition at 0 after
inserting text, we should probably reset the I-Beam back to the
beginning, which you can do like this:

mx:TextArea id=ta

width=300 height=200 editable=false
creationComplete=ta.setSelection(0,0)

We need to make our app accessible so all buttons / text ect must be
accessible by the keyboard.

We have a text area in our app and the behaviour for keyboard users is a
bit odd.

You can tab to the text area ok but then if you use Page Down or
spacebar to scroll the text field it goes to the very end of the text.
You can then use page up to go to teh top and page down to step down
again but this is less than ideal.

I'm sure your code is the same and works great on Flex 2, but now that
you're hitting some problem we need to definitely determine where the
problem is. How did you confirm that you have data in the Flex 3
version? If you really do have data, then the next step is to examine
the renderers, see how many are being created and how they behave.

 Subject: [flexcoders] How to maintain a Tree opened/close state after
 removed/added to stage?

 Hello all,

 There is a behavior that is not apparent when building against Flex 3
 beta 3 but shows up of Flex 3 release.

 I have a Tree that is added/removed from the stage at various times. In
 Beta 3 if I remove it from the display list add it back at a later
 time the tree is with the branches opened/closed as they were when it
 was removed.

 In the Flex Release the Tree always has all the branches closed once it
 is added to the stage. Looking at the Tree properties shows
 Tree.openItems does have a correct list of open branches. Iterating over
 this list to to open them, or close then open, or saving this list when
 removedFromStage and setting it again on addedToStage, or invalidating
 the display list does not do anything. My next shot is simulating mouse
 clicks on the renderers travelling from the outermost branches inward
 but this feels like overkill.

 Any suggestions on how to trigger the display so it matched the internal
 open/closed state?

 Thanks,

 - Ivo

Hi Dmitri,

I just ran a quick test locally using an HTTPService to send an XML
instance and it went out as the body of the post fine.

E.g.

mx:HTTPService id=testService url=http://localhost:8400/...;
method=post contentType=application/xml useProxy=false/

... and later ...

var x:XML = rootfoobar/foo/root;
testService.send(x);

Maybe share a code snippet illustrating your service definition and
invocation and that could shed light on why your call was going out
empty.

[flexcoders] Re: Ignoring folders _svn / .svn

2008-03-06 Thread actionscript_czar
Since Flexbuilder is built on eclipse you can follow the idea on this
page:
http://eric-blue.com/blog/2004/11/adding_navigator_filters_to_ec.html

The difference is where you will find the filters on Flexbuilder
standalone. For example the plugin.xml file I am looking for on a PC
is here:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex Builder
3\plugins\com.adobe.flexbuilder.standalone_3.0.194161

On a mac it should be similar, from the Flex Builder install
directory.

For the eclipse plugin version the folder should be similar to the
one in the article.

[flexcoders] Re: Cairngorm and Menu Object

2008-03-06 Thread shafram
Thanks, I decided to create a command class that will create the
arrays required for a Menu and then called a callback function (that
was passed to my Command), to actually popup the menu inside my mxml.

 I've read that some guys pass call-back functions coded into the view
 into the command that the command calls back with the appropriate
 data. I've never personally done this as my watcher works pretty well.

 It's a pain to set up, but once you go through the process once, you
 are left with a tidy view, and all your code in a command.

 Look up something called SimpleObserve, it's bascially a
 ChangeWatcher, but it works well for watching model properties and
 calling functions when the properties change.

 There is a Cairngorm Flex list however, I think it's called
 Cairgngrom Docs on Yahoo groups here that might give you some better
 feedback.

$this-dbClass = new DBClass();

and this is the method...

 /***

function getAppointmentData($uin)

// Do the query, return the record or null

}
  }
  else
  {
$content .= No Appointments.;

  $content .= /tasklist\n;

if it's not in the actionscript then it has to be in the method table then
right??

Re: [flexcoders] Re: Defining a root folder for BlazeDS installed on remote server

2008-03-06 Thread Mr Greg Murnock
Instead of pointing to the location of your services-config.xml try creating in
Flex without the remoting server. Then try...

Flex accessing CF7 via RemoteObject. All environments are different so
editing all the services-confg.xml files is not an option. I removed the
-services and have my wrapper CFM create the toString(http:/
CGI.SERVER_NAME /flex2gateway/) then pass it in via flashVars, read the
flashVar in my init() and set it to a new var. Then use it in the
RemoteObject endpoint={newVar} setting. Works like a charm.

Now this is using CF which puts in the /flex2gateway/ path to the
services-config.xml file and allows me to read in the SERVER_NAME via CGI, not
sure if this is the same with BlazeDS but you should be able to read in the
server name and create your path to the xml file.

Re: [flexcoders] modules vs. components

2008-03-06 Thread Pat Buchanan
Chad:

There are many reasons why they are different, but let me give you an
example of why *I* use modules.

I have an application shell - basically a pretty basic application that
does some basic tasks. As I develop new functionality for this app (ie: new
reports, new data entry screens, new tools, etc) all I need to do is compile
a module into a .SWF, and place it into folder on my server. People using
my app can now load this new functionality into their application, WITHOUT
even restarting their application - it just shows up on the menu.

So, ONE way to think about modules is that they are great for parts of your
application you haven't designed, written, or even thought about yet.

Also, since they are loaded in on the fly, you application stays SMALL and
only brings down from the server what that person has access to. With the
component way, ALL of those need to be compiled into your application and
fed over the wire.

So if someone just wanted to check a stock quote, they would have to
download the entire app. Using modules, they would only have to download
the piece that let them view stock quotes.

Note however, that there are a few things you need to do special to avoid
problems when using modules. Search this list for all kids of good
information on it.

there are others.

Stupid question.

Where can I get the framework link-reports?

 Yup, list it twice in the compile options or comma-separate. Most MXMLC

 Can I do that? Load 2 externs?

  Amazing!!

  Looking at mxmlc I saw that:
  -load-externs filename

  Just one parameter. How do I load both?

   You would load-extern both the framework.swc and the app.

   Now I am curious...

   I have my Application (without RSL) and my Module.
   At this condition I use link-reports/load-extern.
   To compile the module I load extern the link-reports from the
   application. Right?

   When I start to use this application with framework caching (with RSL)
   I will begun the load-extern from the framework.swc e no more from
   myApplication?

   At current time, I can load-extern from only one source. But isn't
   better I load-extern the framework.swc AND my Application?

Did you turn on the framework rsl cache? If so, you then have to
load-extern framework.swc on your modules.

Hello,

I have designed an application that loads features
(implemented as modules) at runtime. I want to
minimize the size of the modules so I am using
link-report and load-externs compiler options for
main applicaiton and features respectively.

A couple of days before, report.xml generated by
link-report compiler option was of 344 KB and includes
links to my custom libraries too. Now when I am
compiling the main application (after updates have
been incorporated to main application and features),
the size of the report.xml is only 16KB. I am
attaching both report.xml files; reportPrev.xml
(644KB) and reportNew.xml (16KB). Moreover, if I am
using the previous report.xml file to link during the
compilation of features, the size of the resulting swf
of the feature is 0 KB.

Can anyone tell me what can be the reason for that?

Regards,
Jehanzeb

[flexcoders] Tile list displaying across the whole screen

2008-03-06 Thread markcavins
I am trying to get a tile list to use the whole width of the screen to
display the results.

Right now it only hits about 40% of the screen.
Here is my current set up.

mx:TileList dataProvider={_xlcMyListData} labelField=fleet
left=35 right=15
width=350 backgroundColor=#00 color=#ff
fontSize=27
borderColor=#00 columnWidth=315 rowHeight=50
themeColor=#808080 fontWeight=bold allowMultipleSelection=true
id=TileList1 height=0 y=202 x=178/

Then the States values

mx:SetProperty target={TileList1} name=y/
mx:SetProperty target={TileList1} name=height value=75%/
mx:SetProperty target={TileList1} name=width value=90%/
mx:SetProperty target={TileList1} name=x value=50/
mx:SetStyle target={TileList1} name=top value=66/
mx:SetStyle target={panel1} name=bottom value=0/
mx:SetStyle target={TileList1} name=left/
mx:SetStyle target={TileList1} name=right/
mx:SetStyle target={TileList1} name=fontFamily value=Arial/

I have tried a few ways of doing this.

I am just trying to get the most bang for my screen.

Thanks for any ideas.

Seth,

Here is the shortest snippet:
http://mitek.id.au/flex/HTTPService/TestFlex3.mxml
http://mitek.id.au/flex/HTTPService/test.php

This works in Flex2, and it doesn't work in Flex3.

Dmitri.

 Hi Dmitri,

 I just ran a quick test locally using an HTTPService to send an XML
 instance and it went out as the body of the post fine.

 E.g.

 mx:HTTPService id=testService url=http://localhost:8400/...;
 method=post contentType=application/xml useProxy=false/

 ... and later ...

 var x:XML = rootfoobar/foo/root;
 testService.send(x);

 Maybe share a code snippet illustrating your service definition and
 invocation and that could shed light on why your call was going out
 empty.

 Best,

 After some tweaks I've managed to convert my beautiful XML object into
 the ugly flash.xml.XMLNode one and then convert it with
 SimpleXMLDecoder into the unnamed Object and then send it to server.
 Welcome back AS2!

 Guys, if anyone happily sends XML objects via HTTPService could you
 please write here, so at least I know that there is a way to do this.

 Thanks!

  It sends empty POST requests when contentType=CONTENT_TYPE_XML and

  Works fine for unnamed Objects contentType=CONTENT_TYPE_FORM
 though.
