Dave, I see that you did enter a bug report. Is this still an issue? At what point in the process do you see this? When you receive the error message, what is in the URL line of your browser? The line that should be there when entering a new bug report should be the following: < http://support.flex-radio.com/NewIssue.aspx?it=b > Thanks, Dale WA8SRA Dave Blaschke wrote: > When I try to enter a bug report I get the following message: "Server > Error in '/' Application" Using themed css files requires a header > control on the page. [Flexradio] SDR-1000 frequency error.
All of a sudden, WWV shows up at ~2.511, 5.022, 10.044 MHZ. tried deleting the database and wisdom. restarted 1.12 and same thing. Can not calibrate frequency. Using ver 1.10.4, DDS Offset was 3125. dds offset has been reset to zero. Using ver 1.10.4, DDS Offset was 3125. changing it makes no apparent difference... Also, 1.10.4 has the same frequency error. [Flexradio] SDR1000 & Edirol FA66 - echo on transmit
Hi All I seem to be experiencing on transmit what sounds like an "echo" its sounds like a delay i.e. a few milliseconds at first i thought it was RF getting in..but on air reports say its an echo. I have tried on current Test SVN as well as K6JCA consoles and both have the same effect..it seems to appear only when compander or DX setting is uded. Its a late model SDR1000 (Jan 07 Build) using a FA66 and a Heil HM-10 Dual Insert microphone. The microphone is plugged into input 1 on the FA66. I use sample rate of 192khz. Any advice would be greatly appreciated in finding the cure of the "echo" Thanks Paul - VK3APG ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kb.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/

Re: [Flexradio] FlexRadio Digest, Vol 38, Issue 13
Another thing I'm noticing in V1.12.0 is when I see a detected signal in the pan adapter, I'm also seeing a mirror image of the same signal either up or down frequency by about 10KHz. When tuning to these signals they sometimes merge but not always. Sometimes they can be detected at different frequencies making it difficult to determine as to what frequency they are actually transmitting. I've not noticed this anomaly with other releases. Re: [Flexradio] Just asking
Dave, The best way to do that at the moment is to use the pan sliders. Put rx1 all the way to the left, and rx2 to the right. Then you need to route the audio back into the computer. This can be done from the power speaker out. Perhaps a bit inconvenient, but this approach does have lower latency than VAC. I think VAC should support mixing of RX2, as you suggested. This shouldn't be too difficult. I am also looking at having two direct i/q VAC output channels, one for each rx. This is not quite so easy. 73 Ed W2RF On 13 Jun 2008 at 14:05, Dave Blaschke wrote: Before I hit the Flex bug and request boards, I have a question. Anyone having any luck with this. My goal is to use RX1 AND RX2 to be seen by WSJT using VAC's. The ideal here will be to run two instances of WSJT and using two pairs of VAC's, let the first pair connect RX1 to the 1'st instance of WSJT, and the second pair of VAC's to connect to the second instance of WSJT. [Tim] Make sure a bug is a bug and not an enhancement. Can the RX2 audio be split away from the RX1 audio and brought out separately, like to a new pair of VAC's, or to the LINE OUT on the back of the radio? [Tim] Yes, it can be panned into the left and right AF output (speakers and headphones) No, there is no VAC support for the RX2 at this time (this would be an enhancement) Apparently, RX2's audio does not show up on the VAC when choosing VAC1 for input and VAC for output, even if I go and check the combine VAC channels checkbox, and/or check the combine to VAC checkbox. Re: [Flexradio] 2nd receiver and ATU install
The ATU mounts on top of the PA board (on top of the heat sink) and the RX2 mounts on the other side (bottom) of the heatsink on top of the TRX board. If you install the RX2 now, you will not have to remove it to install the ATU. I don't think it will make it any easier to wait, but it would be more convenient. Re: [Flexradio] !.12.0 Digital modes and receive image on the SDR1000
Ross, Did you create a new database for v1.12.0 and are you using that one for the tests you are running? If you are, did you modify the database with the Database Migration tool? -Tim -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ross Sent: Friday, June 13, 2008 4:37 AM To: flexradio@flex-radio.biz Subject: [Flexradio] !.12.0 Digital modes and receive image on the SDR1000 Has any one tried Digital modes with the new 1.12.0 with an SDR1000. I have been trying it transmitting into a dummy load, (at low power) and receiving on my Orion II, and frankly the received decoded signal is not good, it has a lot of errors. I have tried MMTTY and Mixw2 with similar results. Error rate would be about 25% whereas with an S5 signal into the Orion I would expect 100% decode perfectly. I just retried version 1.10.4 at low power and with probably less than 3watts into a dummy load and no s meter reading on the Orion it decoded perfectly. One other major problem with 1.12.0. I have a major receive image problem, no it is not my self confidence image, but an SDR image. listening to almost any station , on its primary frequency I also hear it 18khz up, very strong. Trying the image correction has no effect. I can appreciate the effort that is going into the 5000 range, but was the software checked thoroughly for the SDR1000 or is it not suitable for the SDR1000? Regards Ross ZL1WN ps in case anyone wonders what I am using, it is Vista Business, on a high spec dual core machine and the Edirol FA66 with all the audio options that have been suggested. Transmitted using Mixw with VAC to the SDR1000. Received on another dual core machine feeding the Orion II ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kb.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kb.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/
