Thanks for your effort !

Robin is using TaxiDraw himself now, as are a number of the regular
X-Plane contributors, so there really should be no problem now :-)

Well, I think now the time has come to add a database interface to
TaxiDraw just kidding ;-)

Cheers,
Martin.

Can I jump-in here and say to everyone that updated airports should be sent to
Robin Peel now. Simply export your project in X-Plane format from the 'File'
menu, and sent to to Robin:

www.x-plane.org/home/robinp/Contact.htm

I believe he can cope with TaxiDraw project format as well, and changed runways
are no problem as long as you tell him. Now that he is reliably accepting our
data again there is no need to store data ourselves - it's simply slowing my
coding down. I guess it might become necessary again in the future if/when we
extend the data format beyond what X-Plane offers, but we can cross that bridge
when we come to it.

So I assume he accepted all changes that you've been collecting until
now ?

All of the one's I sent him, yes, which is about half of them, including all of
yours. (Including the recent small airport additions in N Germany / Denmark
?). There was a slight problem with LCHM though - at the moment his data has
your taxiways from v6 but the runways from v5, so they don't line up. I'll
send it again and remind him about the runways! Hopefully I'll get rid of the
rest of the data onto him by the time he updates again.

Just changing parts of the binary scenery doesn't help that much
because it will be overridden with the next scenery update.

Thanks for the answer.

The scenery and the apt.dat content are not the same.
If you try to take off on LFPO your aircraft is in the field outside of
the runway.
You cannot solve it with taxidraw, which do not operate on the runways.
I did solve it, by rebuilding the tile including LFPO with Terragear.
If you are interested on it that new version is available here
You only have to replace the old files by these new ones.

In addition to:
Yes... rebuilding the scenery solve it, because it has been done
with the last apt.dat.

Well, TaxiDraw actually _does_ operate on runways, you just have to
unlock the runway by using Edit - Unlock Runways. But if I
understand correctly

 In addition to:
Yes... rebuilding the scenery solve it, because it has been done

it is not the airport database entry that you want to change. If
the airport database entry actually differs from the Scenery you use
then I suspect that someone checked an update to LFPO into the database
in CVS _after_ Curt distributed the current Scenery set. You probably
use the base package from CVS with the 0.9.8 Scenery.

If you are interested on it that new version is available here

Oh, my current trouble with FlightGear on my worklplace at home is much
larger than just a small offset of one airport in the Scenery ;-)

Cheers,
Martin.

Rather than keeping on my side a new version of the Airport Paris Orly
I guess that you could be interested to get it.

That Airport in the existing Scenery is wrong regarding the apt.dat
Here an update which suit to that apt.dat and the Scenery File e000n40
The Airport and the corresponding tile as been rebuilt.

Everything done with Terragear.
You only have to replace the old files by these new ones.
