Re: [Audyssey] Exploring muds

2016-05-21 Thread dark

The first page should tell you what command if your new.

I believe from your description fluxworld needs you to type create your
character name and then password, eg, if you wanted to create a character
called bob with the password password 1, you'd type create bob password1.

Next time you wanted to login to the game you'd type connect bob password1.

It should've said this on the main page when you first connect your client
to the mud.

Well if you seem to not be having issue you probably won't have any
issue then, sorry for quizzing but I am not as covered on the droid as I
have been otherwise.
It does seam for the most part on all platforms that we are 99.9% stable
and thats at least at any rate good to know.

Though I have never had a beta go so smooth.
OFcause a lot of stuff was fixed in house so maybe its expected.

You said seemed so is there something you are having issue with.
Bugs features or some quibble.
We don't have the funds to do anything huge right about now but
anything that can't be handled can be added to the list of things.
If its small enough we can probably fix it now.
If its just working on the droid that at least means 1 platform I
won't have to watch.
Its been quite stable in ios and pc comparitively speaking, ofcause a
few issues have been related to the web portal the rest well.
To be honest though any bugs that exist in one platform should be
fixed on all of them in theory.

Ok, well if no one ishaving issues thats fine.
Its good to know that we don't have to worry about issues on a
particular platform and to all things conciddered it looks like we
didn't have that many issues at all.
I have not heard back yet on the broken archery on pc and I assume its
just pc, the donation portal is still in progress, there are issues with
the score system but still minor.
The outstanding issues with sounds and extra score configs need cash so
once all funding is up, I will be sending a few bucks at sonnar as a
start, after that well we will see.

Haven't spent too much time playing all of the games, but, they all seem

opinion, it's fine.

The other nice thing is that while some guys complain about swiping
around the normal android interface, as opposed to just using explore by
touch, this works fine for me under audio games hub as well, and you can
still, obviously explore to find the four corner icons, for actions like
return, turning on/off graphical rendition, info, etc. etc.

One of the most active app review/listing portals for accessibility on

some of them might have sort of audio walk-through's included in their

Is there a forum or store link that the games have been discussed on

Have you noticed any issues on android.
I have managed from a tech blog to get something on ios but am
clueless on android.
This game is for 3 platforms so ok.
If its running with no issues on the droid thats good to know I guess.
I wouldn't mind more than 1 user saying it was fine, there have been 8
seperate issues for ios so far.
And right now I am dealing with 1 website and 1 game issue on pc but
not sure about the rest.
It is my job to relay any issues to those that can do something about
it, its fine if no one at all in the entire internet has no issues but
I am clueless to what the android side is saying.

Thats what it seems that most are saying to.
The same goes with the tutorial, point is we can't just move something
because one person thinks its total crap!
Now if like 5-10 people think the entire thing has some shitty
crappyness in it then its another thing.
On that note have any of you noticed on the websites that any high score
that is below the highest scores or top 10 table is not showing.

Soneone that wanted to test put that at me.
I don't view the scores but I did get a message from sonnar yesterday

Hi all
I never asked on here exactly because I was not sure if it would take
off especially since the audiogames forum seems to have got up to 25
posts on the subject but then it never went any further.
Applevis has several comments.
However its on here so fine.
As of this time I am the official sonnar rep on here and anything else
that this thing is discussed on.
I am not the main dev or ceo but I have tested the games since they
started.
The official or unofficial comment thread to check out is at
http://www.applevis.com/apps/ios/games/audio-game-hub#comment-form
I had someone ask about using game centre for things.
I will give the same answer as I did yesterday, this is a cross
platform game.
You guys or those that know using anything uniquely identifyed with a
particular platform is hmmm just not happening.
You are the first that has mentioned the voice being to slow, I myself
have no issue with it.
Some mentioned tutorial being a bit babyish but that was designed for
all to play so its the way it is for a reason.
If you want us to use voiceover for any reason, its not happening.
Every platform has a turn off accessibility mode message on it.
One thing I'd like is a way to skip the intro but thats not a big issue.
I guess off the top of my brain I can ask sonnar if they can impliment
a feature in the options to speed up the voice these are all recorded
though, never the less if the unity engine can have the voices spead
up or down for those preffs well maybe.
Who else is having the issue of a to slow voice.
We had one saying about the tutorial, one more about gamecentre etc, etc.
Thing is we are a small startup company, and right now we are
implimenting funding programs and the like as we are short of funds.
Thing is right now no huge features but I will see what I can do.
If it can be done quickly then it will be done.
On that note, if you are from new zealand we are looking for more
local testers.
In fact we are looking for more testers of our stuff period.
If you are interested, email me off list and I will give you the
address to go to,.
I will be posting this on applevis to so if you are on there you will
get a double notification.
Secondly since there has been some interest shown on here I will start
posting updates on here, however they will appear on applevis first so.
We have a pr event for potential funders or universities this monday,
one of our funders is interested in further sponsorship of us.
We intend to increase the number of games to 10.
Currently I am troubleshooting a bug with one of the games on the pc.
www.audiogamehub.com is where you can get the stuff for pc directly or
other platforms.
There is also a contact page if you contact them and mention my name
and that you want to test that would improve my reputation some what.
We are also looking for sources to post to, right now, I would really
like a place where the android build is being discussed since I am
lacking that information.
If anyone wants to contact me well you know who to call.
For those of you on the audiogames forum, exactly why are you guys not
replying on the new releases room is that we are not posting much
constantly.
I'd idealy like some way to keep track of things, I know traffic is
low however.
I have stopped short of making a thread on general because I am unsure
if anyone would post.
Right now local testers are what we need, ie if you live in nz but
anyone can test.
Going to post at apple vis this info to.
Anyway thats my speel, you may now bombard my inbox with all your
quearies.
The only rule I have is no platform spaciffic questions.
Remember this is a multiplatform thing.
Now if you just happen to have a development library that can do all
features and its like on all platforms and its like doesn't cost that
much them well.

Re: [Audyssey] audioGames hub

2016-05-21 Thread Shaun Everiss
Well just for interest I did send a message to see if voice could be put
up, but you do realise if its to fast or to slow its going to suffer in
quality.

Fact is I think full audio voice is better than synth.
Where synth voice would be usefull is if its say an online endless game
like a mud or where you would want to make random events, but anything
fixed well.

Hi all
I never asked on here exactly because I was not sure if it would take off

Applevis has several comments.
However its on here so fine.
As of this time I am the official sonnar rep on here and anything else that
this thing is discussed on.
I am not the main dev or ceo but I have tested the games since they started.
The official or unofficial comment thread to check out is at
http://www.applevis.com/apps/ios/games/audio-game-hub#comment-form
I had someone ask about using game centre for things.
I will give the same answer as I did yesterday, this is a cross platform game.
You guys or those that know using anything uniquely identifyed with a
particular platform is hmmm just not happening.
You are the first that has mentioned the voice being to slow, I myself have no
issue with it.
Some mentioned tutorial being a bit babyish but that was designed for all to
play so its the way it is for a reason.
If you want us to use voiceover for any reason, its not happening.
Every platform has a turn off accessibility mode message on it.
One thing I'd like is a way to skip the intro but thats not a big issue.
I guess off the top of my brain I can ask sonnar if they can impliment a
feature in the options to speed up the voice these are all recorded though,
never the less if the unity engine can have the voices spead up or down for
those preffs well maybe.
Who else is having the issue of a to slow voice.
We had one saying about the tutorial, one more about gamecentre etc, etc.
Thing is we are a small startup company, and right now we are implimenting
funding programs and the like as we are short of funds.
Thing is right now no huge features but I will see what I can do.
If it can be done quickly then it will be done.
On that note, if you are from new zealand we are looking for more local testers.
In fact we are looking for more testers of our stuff period.
If you are interested, email me off list and I will give you the address to go
to,.
I will be posting this on applevis to so if you are on there you will get a
double notification.
Secondly since there has been some interest shown on here I will start posting
updates on here, however they will appear on applevis first so.
We have a pr event for potential funders or universities this monday, one of
our funders is interested in further sponsorship of us.
We intend to increase the number of games to 10.
Currently I am troubleshooting a bug with one of the games on the pc.
www.audiogamehub.com is where you can get the stuff for pc directly or other
platforms.
There is also a contact page if you contact them and mention my name and that
you want to test that would improve my reputation some what.
We are also looking for sources to post to, right now, I would really like a
place where the android build is being discussed since I am lacking that
information.
If anyone wants to contact me well you know who to call.
For those of you on the audiogames forum, exactly why are you guys not replying
on the new releases room is that we are not posting much constantly.
I'd idealy like some way to keep track of things, I know traffic is low however.
I have stopped short of making a thread on general because I am unsure if
anyone would post.
Right now local testers are what we need, ie if you live in nz but anyone can
test.
Going to post at apple vis this info to.
Anyway thats my speel, you may now bombard my inbox with all your quearies.
The only rule I have is no platform spaciffic questions.
Remember this is a multiplatform thing.
Now if you just happen to have a development library that can do all features
and its like on all platforms and its like doesn't cost that much them well.

Hi.

Which info were you using for promethius? As I said, their website lists one
port as incorrect and one as working, but certainly the game is still up
sinse they're mentioning updates about it on audiogames.net.

Hi.

First, who said promethius can't be played anymore? There were apparently
two versions a modern and a classic but the classic is still runing and
being updated, connect at prometheus-enterprises.com

port 5551.

for more info go to http://www.prometheus-enterprises.com/eternal-wars.html

Second, I'm not sure what you mean by "exploring muds"

Most games you get something for exploring, even if just monsters to fight.
Alteraeon for example has explorer points you can earn by spending time and
exploring different game areas that give extra xp and such.

More crafting based muds like Clok or empire mud you need to explore for
resources and so on, where as more puzzle like ones like frandom and
fluxworld have exploration for puzzles and different game aspects.

There are lots of muds with descriptions on the mud connector site, but
finding what you want there could be difficult. I'd recommend checking
audiogames.net database sinse we have pages for several muds and more to
add, or ask around on list.

Hth, and sorry I can't be more specific, I'm afraid without knowing what
exactly an "exploring mud" is it's difficult to say.

Typically, site MUD clients are not accessible. If on an iPhone, download

As the subject clearly states, my problem is pretty self-explanatory. I
remember Phil posting on here a while ago about having to change his
website, and I'm trying to figure out what the new website is, but was
having some trouble doing so. Either his old site is still up, and that's
why I keep getting 404 Errors, or something else has gone wrong. Anybody
else having trouble? I'd really like to try the demo of this game again,
seeing as I've gotten a lot better with directions and moving around in an
environment where you can use all four compass directions.

Thanks,
Ari

You said seemed so is there something you are having issue with.
Bugs features or some quibble.
We don't have the funds to do anything huge right about now but anything
that can't be handled can be added to the list of things.

If its small enough we can probably fix it now.
If its just working on the droid that at least means 1 platform I won't
have to watch.
Its been quite stable in ios and pc comparitively speaking, ofcause a few
issues have been related to the web portal the rest well.
To be honest though any bugs that exist in one platform should be fixed on
all of them in theory.

Re: [Audyssey] audioGames hub

2016-05-21 Thread Jacob Kruger
Shaun, I posted a mention of it on the high traffic eyes-free mailing list,
and think some other guys have tried it out, but, not too sure how many as
of yet.

And, no, have not had any issues with it on my samsung galaxy s5 lollipop
5.0 unit.

Haven't spent too much time playing all of the games, but, they all seem to
work well for me, and, like said in other reply sent just now, the
instructional voice is, to me, are part of the vibe/atmosphere, so in my
opinion, it's fine.

The other nice thing is that while some guys complain about swiping around
the normal android interface, as opposed to just using explore by touch,
this works fine for me under audio games hub as well, and you can still,
obviously explore to find the four corner icons, for actions like return,
turning on/off graphical rendition, info, etc. etc.

One of the most active app review/listing portals for accessibility on
android is inclusiveAndroid, and while there's no mention of audio games hub
here yet, this might give you an idea of what is available, etc. - some of
them might have sort of audio walk-through's included in their write-ups:

Jakob, have you found any issues on android.
Is there a forum or store link that the games have been discussed on with
other users.

Have you noticed any issues on android.
I have managed from a tech blog to get something on ios but am clueless on
android.

This game is for 3 platforms so ok.
If its running with no issues on the droid thats good to know I guess.
I wouldn't mind more than 1 user saying it was fine, there have been 8
seperate issues for ios so far.
And right now I am dealing with 1 website and 1 game issue on pc but not
sure about the rest.
It is my job to relay any issues to those that can do something about it,
its fine if no one at all in the entire internet has no issues but I am
clueless to what the android side is saying.

Hi all
I never asked on here exactly because I was not sure if it would take off
especially since the audiogames forum seems to have got up to 25 posts on
the subject but then it never went any further.

I will give the same answer as I did yesterday, this is a cross platform
game.
You guys or those that know using anything uniquely identifyed with a
particular platform is hmmm just not happening.
You are the first that has mentioned the voice being to slow, I myself
have no issue with it.
Some mentioned tutorial being a bit babyish but that was designed for all
to play so its the way it is for a reason.

If you want us to use voiceover for any reason, its not happening.
Every platform has a turn off accessibility mode message on it.
One thing I'd like is a way to skip the intro but thats not a big issue.
I guess off the top of my brain I can ask sonnar if they can impliment a
feature in the options to speed up the voice these are all recorded
though, never the less if the unity engine can have the voices spead up or
down for those preffs well maybe.

On that note, if you are from new zealand we are looking for more local
testers.

In fact we are looking for more testers of our stuff period.
If you are interested, email me off list and I will give you the address
to go to,.
I will be posting this on applevis to so if you are on there you will get
a double notification.
Secondly since there has been some interest shown on here I will start
posting updates on here, however they will appear on applevis first so.
We have a pr event for potential funders or universities this monday, one
of our funders is interested in further sponsorship of us.

We intend to increase the number of games to 10.
Currently I am troubleshooting a bug with one of the games on the pc.
www.audiogamehub.com is where you can get the stuff for pc directly or
other platforms.
There is also a contact page if you contact them and mention my name and
that you want to test that would improve my reputation some what.
We are also looking for sources to post to, right now, I would really like
a place where the android build is being discussed since I am lacking that
information.

If anyone wants to contact me well you know who to call.
For those of you on the audiogames forum, exactly why are you guys not
replying on the new releases room is that we are not posting much
constantly.
I'd idealy like some way to keep track of things, I know traffic is low
however.
I have stopped short of making a thread on general because I am unsure if

Right now local testers are what we need, ie if you live in nz but anyone

Going to post at apple vis this info to.
Anyway thats my speel, you may now bombard my inbox with all your
quearies.

The only rule I have is no platform spaciffic questions.
Remember this is a multiplatform thing.
Now if you just happen to have a development library that can do all
features and its like on all platforms and its like doesn't cost that much
them well.

Its been quite stable in ios and pc comparitively speaking, ofcause a
few issues have been related to the web portal the rest well.
To be honest though any bugs that exist in one platform should be fixed
on all of them in theory.

2016-05-21 Thread Shaun Everiss

Jakob, have you found any issues on android.
Is there a forum or store link that the games have been discussed on
with other users.

Have you noticed any issues on android.
I have managed from a tech blog to get something on ios but am clueless
on android.

It is my job to relay any issues to those that can do something about
it, its fine if no one at all in the entire internet has no issues but I
am clueless to what the android side is saying.

Re: [Audyssey] audioGames hub

2016-05-21 Thread Shaun Everiss

Hi all
I never asked on here exactly because I was not sure if it would take
off especially since the audiogames forum seems to have got up to 25
posts on the subject but then it never went any further.

Applevis has several comments.
However its on here so fine.
As of this time I am the official sonnar rep on here and anything else
that this thing is discussed on.

I am not the main dev or ceo but I have tested the games since they started.
The official or unofficial comment thread to check out is at
http://www.applevis.com/apps/ios/games/audio-game-hub#comment-form
I had someone ask about using game centre for things.
I will give the same answer as I did yesterday, this is a cross platform
game.
You guys or those that know using anything uniquely identifyed with a
particular platform is hmmm just not happening.
You are the first that has mentioned the voice being to slow, I myself
have no issue with it.

I guess off the top of my brain I can ask sonnar if they can impliment a
feature in the options to speed up the voice these are all recorded
though, never the less if the unity engine can have the voices spead up
or down for those preffs well maybe.

On that note, if you are from new zealand we are looking for more local
testers.

In fact we are looking for more testers of our stuff period.
If you are interested, email me off list and I will give you the address
to go to,.

There is also a contact page if you contact them and mention my name and
that you want to test that would improve my reputation some what.
We are also looking for sources to post to, right now, I would really
like a place where the android build is being discussed since I am
lacking that information.

If anyone wants to contact me well you know who to call.
For those of you on the audiogames forum, exactly why are you guys not
replying on the new releases room is that we are not posting much
constantly.
I'd idealy like some way to keep track of things, I know traffic is low
however.
I have stopped short of making a thread on general because I am unsure
if anyone would post.
