Yes, it's annoying as hell but it's also the most crucial part of the thing. Without that, nothing else flies. Re: [Audyssey] a new member
I have just purchased a Dell Studio tower, and it was the most maddening, time-wasting, infuriating customer experience I've ever had. Phone calls were repeatedly dropped after waits of half an hour or more, phone calls and emails were not returned, the initial order was bungled and the tower they sent me didn't work at all. Also, all of their websites are aggressively hostile to blind users, and their customer service people seem to have no understanding that blind people use computer equipment, too. I will never buy another Dell, and I have vowed to spread as much anti-advertising as I can. Hi All, This is a topic I've mentioned on list before, but I've never gotten a to my mind definitive answer concerning it. I'm curious as to how much interest there might be in strategy games? By strategy I don't just mean board games like Chess, but computer games along the lines of Civilization, Master of Orion, or even Warcraft. SoundRTS is a good though limited example of the form. I for one have always been interested in playing these sorts of games. Sighted help is useful when I can find it, but I'd give anything for a game I can play on my own time. The closest I've come is one rather silly session of Civilization in which I somehow managed to build a city so inaccessible or uninteresting that I survived, untouched, for three thousand years or so. The French were the most backward, unhappy, poorest nation imaginable with neolithic bronze-age weaponry when everybody else had moved to airplanes. We still made it to 1950! Anyway... I wonder. Especially for turn-based strategy games I'd say the most challenging element to code would probably be a reasonable AI which didn't cheat, as many such things do. Audio work isn't nearly as intensive as 3d FPS, is it? I'm just putting this out there to see how many would be interested in such a beast if it came out. Re: [Audyssey] The future of Blastbay Studios
I vote for another RPG, maybe text based rather than roguelike, but like Entombed having lots of classes and crafting occupations to explore. Many different spells and skills, and many different kinds and cominations of objects and artifacts, with perhaps a compelling but loosely implemented plot to tie everything together. A sprawling world to explore, with quests and where hit point depletion is not the only path to success. --Bill --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] The future of Blastbay Studios
Hi Michael, When applied to gaming, this is just a silly, silly argument. I like FPS games okay, but I especially enjoy RPG's, and I don't need some self-appointed Advocate for the Blind telling me which sorts of games I should be amusing myself with. The desire for and possible implementation of RPG games is not going to hold back the blind community. Where did you get this ridiculous notion? --Bill - Original Message - From: mike maslo mmaslo1...@swbell.net To: 'Gamers Discussion list' gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Sunday, December 27, 2009 8:59 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] The future of Blastbay Studios Well William that kind of thinking of staying in the past has hurt us as a blind community. We need to be more aggressive in all we do. We already have a stereotype that each and every one of us have to deal with. I faced them every day of my life since I started to work. I was forced to work triple hard to move up in my job because of all the preconceived and sit back attitude. Maybe there are a lot of people who like side scrollers and such which is their right and I respect. However, it is time for game developers to try new things which may put us as blind gamers on more of a even plain as our counter parts. Just like Thomas, when I was a younger man, I was able to see and maybe because of that I want to see advancements made in games for us. If you want to spend your gaming time on or with the same old same I respect that and there are a lot of gamers who are willing to develop such including Thomas. Thomas has said he will continue to develop side scrollers and such but also to try first person games. How do you know if you will like it, succeed in it etc until you give it a try? Why is it that the blind community is so cared of new things? Look at rail racer which brought in new things. Look at the resistance Che faced until it was released. I think as a blind community we need to embrace all changes good and the unknown. -Original Message- From: gamers-boun...@audyssey.org [mailto:gamers-boun...@audyssey.org] On Behalf Of William L. [Audyssey] A Gamer's Dream: Cyberpunk RPG
I posted this a little while ago but it never came through and other stuff did, so here's a repost. --- All of this talk about gaming genres has put me in mind of one which has been left out completely. God knows I love swords and sorcery and will be the first on Jason's link to downloadEntombed, but one thing I'd really love to see is some kind of futuristic cyberpunk thing where the area explored is a bustling metropolis. Besides armor, guns and ammo of various kinds, There would be replicants, genetic upgrades, cybernetic implants, scary artificial intelligences and the whole technological nightmare world dreamt up by writers like William Gibson and Bruce Sterling. I could even see this as a roguelike, but it might be best implemented as an FPS. Does anyone share this dream with me? Wouldn't it be cool to jack into a cyberspace deck and rip off a major bank for thousands or millions of dollars? Liberate enslaved replicants from labor colonies? Shop for and buy exotic tech? Assassinate corporate heavies who are planning to turn your hometown into a toxic waste site? Re: [Audyssey] help with dragonrealms
Hi Bryce, I used to play Dragon Realms. I think it's the best mud there is, but I found the frustration of using ZMud too much and eventually gave it up. I'm not sure what to tell you: Dragon Realms scrolls by as fast as any other mud on the Net. I knhow it's a dumb suggestion, but I suppose you could slow your voice rate down some. That would give you greater comprehensibility but of course you would be lagging behind whatever the mobs are doing. The only really bright thing I can tell you is that the maker of VIP Mud, the mud client designed especially for blind players, is considering adding Simutronics support in the next version. You might try writing to him. [Audyssey] Naive C++ Questions
Well, actually, it's notjust about C++. I'm wondering what I would have to do to learn a programming language which would be useful for coding games. I have the time to invest, I just don't have a lot of money. Is it possible to get the programming tools for, say, C++ or C#online? Are there freeware versions of these things available, or do I have to cough up bux? And finally, are there online resources for learning the language? Is it possible to learn C programming purely by making use of online tools? If these are foolish questions, I'd like to know which questions I should be asking. For instance, I would be very interested in guidance from old hands like Thomas or Jim as to which way to turn, now that I've made the decision to acquire the skill. Hi Jim, Thanks for responding to my questions. I can see that I have VB on my XP system. However, I will soon be getting a new system loaded with 64 bit Windows 7. However if you do get ahold of VB6, I did just put a simple sample guess the number game up on my site. I have heard that C# has some major drawbacks, though Thomas could probably tell you better than myself about that part as he has been using .net but is now switching to C++. However I can tell you that C++ is definitely a good language to work with if you want to write advanced games, and it is also compatible with I should think literally every platform that exists as it compiles directly to assembly. As for Sapi speech, you would need to download the Sapi 5.1 SDK from Microsoft and learn from that, and probably some online tutorials also. Personally I am not a big fan of it for games, I use sound effects and prerecorded speech exclusively. Sapi has its advantages such as when reading unpredictable things, a user list in an online game is a good example, but for your average game you don't really need it. Do keep in mind that this is only my personal opinion and a lot of the other developers may or may not agree with me, but I feel that Sapi ruins a lot of the atmosphere in a game by sounding the way it does. Speech synthesizers are getting better every year but they're still nowhere near an actor. If you wish to start learning C++, I'd recommend visiting www.cplusplus.com . It is an excellent resource both for tutorials and reference material. Then, once you get the hang of the basics check out www.gamedeve.net , which offers a boatload of resources for the novis as well as the pro game developer. --- end --- hth. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. [Audyssey] The Damned Targeting Thing
Hey Dark, I'm still baffled as to how to make the targeting thing work. After hitting either Fight or Flurry, I get the list of monsters if there's more than one. At this point, I have tried both hitting a number on the number key alone and hitting it while holding down the shift key. Neither has led to a targeted body part; I get the same random hits I was getting before. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I tried it for a while but I sort of lost interest in it. You might try Sryth at www.sryth.com if you haven't already. It's accessible, has a lot of content and at only 20 bucks a year for a full account it's well worth it. And if you want you can donate extra money to the game, even if it happens to be ten dollars here and there. But again that's completely up to you. But you do get rewards for donating even ten dollars to the game. Some might regard this as the gamemaster being greedy but frankly I can totally understand. For one thing Sryth is actually his job, and I do mean that literally. And in any case he doesn't hold a virtual gun to your head and say donate or else! The decision is still completely up to you as to whether or not you do donate. True some content is only available if you've accomplished certain feats in the game (such as buying a grand residence), which are sometimes made easier through donations. but if you really wanted to and were really determined you could go without donating and still get the most out of it. [Audyssey] Enthusiastic Entombed Query
This question is probably really immature given that the game hasn't been released yet. But I am very eager to play and prepared to pay the amount he's asking, so I think it's a fair question. I'm just wondering if Jason is interested in player comments about the game, things we'd like to see in it --you know, monsters, spells, character classes and so forth. I was a Nethack HOUND before I lost my sight and I'm completely thrilled that someone is bringing us blinkies something similar. To those who have playtested Entombed, can you tell us anything about it? Is there deep game play? Is it addictive? Can you buy gear from shops or rob them? Are there gods you can pray to and get blessings or enchantments? What does Jason have planned for future releases? Hey Dark, this was a very funny post and made my morning. Though I have a morbid fear of badgers, I'll definitely look into the Entombed mailing list and see what I can find out. Yes, Jason hates user feedback and comments with a burning and diabolic passion, and anyone who sends him such can expect to have a goblin hoard show up outside their door waving sharpened fish in a vicious and threatening manner! Entombed beta testing was an unpleasant and horrible thing. Beta testers were spirited from their homes at dead of night by a dozen fowl demons which Jason had summoned to do his dark bidding. They were then taken to a secret location somewhere undernieth the pacific, --- where various horrible and generally nasty things happened. I won't go into details, but lets just say I now have a perminant fear of anchovies, toothpicks, and Diet cola! After all these proceedings, the beta testers were forced to say only what Jason wished saying about the game, --- -on pain of, well lets just say badgers! Given all this, it would be absolutely unthinkable for Jason to put the game out as a public beta, allowing anyone to game test, and as for setting up a testing mailing list for people to make suggestions and post comments? never! Needless to say, such a list could not possibly be found at http://groups.google.co.uk/group/entombedgame?hl=enlnk= Free for anyone to subscribe to, and if you subscribed to such a non existant list, well you wouldn't be the least bit welcome at all! That said, I really enjoy doing this and I think it's a perfect scenario for many future games to come. Cheers! Hi Gang, For dozens of messages now, I've been skipping the Q9 thread. But at this point I've become very curious as to what this game is like and whether I should plunk down anything for it. In so many ways they are just shooting themselves in the foot and any company really that uses this method of security is doing the same. Also when you consider the price that fs charges for both the programme and the SMA upgrades afterwards, you're paying a very high price for something that is so restrictive. Especially in the old days before the ILM when we were using the floppy disk system, if you forgot to get additional keys and you needed to reinstall, you're stuck until the postman gets to you with a new disk and with any luck in the process it's not damaged. I had my own version of jaws since v3.7. Well whilst we're on the subject of why we switched to window eyes, personally for me the major thing was how we handles the internet. Although I haven't seen jaws 11 working window eyes really does work well with the net I think. I switched when it went to jaws 8, I couldn't be bothered to keep shelling out tons of cash for upgrades when since v7, it was just being very problematic on the net. I found myself constently going back to old versions just to keep the programme stable. When you're paying per year £150 as you can see I justified that as being unacceptable. Also it caused my system to slow down no end. It really was problematic. I got wineyes in march 2007 and as you know since then we've only had 1 SMA or paid upgrade. That was v7.0. so in the 2 and or so half years that I've had the programme, I have only used 1 upgrade because I bought v6.0, and I haven't had to pay a penny since. Which I think personally is fantastic. Just goes to show you how fs rip off the customer doesn't it. Although with the amount of times they seem to dlike taking people to court they have to fund that somewhere don't they evil laugh. -Original Message- From: gamers-boun...@audyssey.org [mailto:gamers-boun...@audyssey.org] On Behalf Of Thomas Ward Sent: 27 November 2009 13:11 To: Gamers Discussion list Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Registrations was RE: Q9 and cracks Hi Daren, Unfortunately, that has always been Jaws's major weakness. The manufacturer, Freedom Scientific, feels maximum product security takes presidents over end user convenience. So they tend to use the harshest and most restrictive security systems imaginable for the screen reader. That might be fine if it actually worked, but it doesn't. I know for a fact there are cracks of Jaws 11 flying around the internet, and Freedom Scientific hasnt' stopped the illegal distribution of the Jaws software. All they have done is made it harder for the end users, their customers, to legally register and use their software. It is a lose lose situation. Personally I don't think companies like Freedom Scientific gain much by using such security systems. One of the reasons I switched to Window eyes is to avoid having to screw around with dongles, authorization disks, or any other draconian security system they came up with over the passed few years. It is too much of a pain to use the product in my profession, because I can't just take it and use it anywhere and everywhere I might need to. [Audyssey] Question for Thomas Ward
Hi Thomas, I'm directing this at you, but the questionand its answer might be useful to others on the list, so I'm posting it here. My question is simply this...I'm very interested in becoming a coder. Specifically, I have notions of building a blind friendly MUD from scratch. I have ideas for a unique magic system, diverse skills from fishing to the crafting of magic rings, several denominations of coin, numerous guilds and several other features which I may see on individual muds, but never all of them in the same game. What programming language or environment would you recommend that I investigate for this kind of project? I've never coded before, but as Hannnibal Lecter says I have oodles of time and the bloody mindedness you need to complete projects of this scope. I'll be eager to hear any suggestions, warnings and words of wisdom you might have for me. Now, MOO is the traditional way of starting a MOO (with a Lambda/Gamma MOO Server, you'll learn more at the website I provided), however this isn't the only way to do it. If you were to become a really advanced coder and wanted to try building your own server, you could. If you want a more simple, easier way, MOO is what I'd pick. Re: [Audyssey] Creating a Mud was Question for Thomas Ward
HI Thomas, It sounds like I might be biting off more than I can chew, but I am grateful for your advice and the wealth of information you've given me here. Wish me luck! --Bill - Original Message - From: Thomas Ward thomasward1...@gmail.com To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Saturday, January 31, 2009 9:17 AM Subject: [Audyssey] Creating a Mud was Question for Thomas Ward Hi Bill, Well, if you are serious about creating a mud server from scratch, and wish to do it right, that is a pretty big undertaking. I don't want to be discurraging, but it is a rather big project. At any rate here is my take for a project like that. First, you need to get the proper software, tools, and environment to build your mud server. For games like mud servers I absolutely, totally, recommend using a dedicated Linux based computer to host the mud. The most accessible, blind friendly, Linux os out there is Ubuntu 8.10. You can download the cd for free from http://www.ubuntu.com and they have a getting started wiki on sight. Also check out the Orca wiki on http://live.gnome.org/Orca which has getting started information for new blind Linux users new to Linux screen readers, magnification, etc. There are howto docs on there how to install Linux with speech and so on. Plus the Orca list is another great resource. If you were absolutely dead set on using Windows for your mud server it can be done using a Unix ssubsystem such as Cigwin on Windows Server 2003 or 2008, but it is not recommended. There are a lot of reasons why I personally say go the hole hog and put Linux on an extra PC you might have laying around to act as your mud server platform. So why use Linux instead of Windows? 1. Linux is more reliable - Windows based servers tend to crash or freeze more often than Linux installations, that generally run for weeks if not months without needing a reboot. 2. You can install and upgrade new software applications without the you need to restart the computer to complete the installation hastle Windows always gives you when installing software. That of course results in down time for a mud on Windows. 3. Better proformence - the same program, running on the same hardware (dual-boot) will tend to run faster under Linux than under Windows. Especially, when comparing a Ubuntu Linux server vs Windows Server 2008. 4. Much better networking with multi-user support - Windows Server 2003/2008 servers tend to slow down quite a bit when you hit about 100 simultaneous connections. By contrast, Ubuntu Linux is geared up to handle many connections at the same time, that is why most web servers and mud servers are Linux, not Windows based. 5. Free software - things you need like the C++ compiler, SQL server, web server, and many other software applications are free under Linux. Since the entire operating system, screen reader and all, is free it will save you money and will cost you nothing but your electric bill to run your mud server. 6. More support - stuff like the startup scripts out there are geared to a Linux installation. 7. Better tools - installing snippets is easier with patch and diff which work best under Unix (again, they work OK under Cygwin too). 8. Viruses and worms - you know most PCs these days are Windows PCs, and that is exactly what the worm/virus/trojan horse writers are targetting. With Linux you tend to be left alone most of the time. 8. Better firewalling - Linux comes with built-in firewall tools (again, I know that XP/Vista does too) which make it easier to secure your connections. I don't really want to start an operating system flame war, and I use Windows (for example to develop most of my software and like a lot of aspects of it, however for good, solid, mudding I think it is hard to pass by Linux as the mud server platform. As far as a programming language goes definitely go with C++. Linux is geared mainly for C/C++ development, and to my knolege must mud servers are written in C/C++ using the gcc compiler that comes with most Linux distributions or can be downloaded for free if not. I've heard of some mud servers written in Java, and I suppose that is ok, but my vote is for C++. Keep in mind that you will have to get into some rather advanced topics such as socket programming just to make it online playable and that isn't the funnest or easiest thing to do in C++. What you might want to do when starting out is grab a free open source mud server to practice with, find out how they handled this or that, and use it for a template for your own server. Re: [Audyssey] The best muds to play?
Hi Lindsay, This is one of my favorite topics. I've tried lots of muds over the last ten years and have found a few which match my own criteria. I tend to favor games with an interesting sound and feel, if you know what I mean. So I like muds which aren't unadorned Diku or Circle muds, with their beastly fidoes and copies of AD and D spells. I tend to favor muds where RP is encouraged if not demanded, and I like muds with many races and classes. Finally, i like games where there is some element of crafting. I know most people don't share all of these wishes from my personal wish list, but it gives you an idea of my biases. So. New Worlds mud is very good. There are usually between 50 and 75players at any time. New Worlds has solid guilds, an extensive map and is roleplay intensive. The good thing about the RP, though, is that it is sometimes rewarded with nontrivial experience and gold bonuses. New Worlds is blind friendly, and the staff and players will go out of their way to help you if you just mention that you use a screen reader. There's even a global channel for blind players.Be aware, though, that if you mean to join a guild, you will have lots of in depth contact with other players higher than you in the pecking order. Just play your character with a little panache, and everything will go well. New Worlds is atHost Name: newworlds-rpg.com port: 4002. Next, I can recommend the Iron Realms games. There are currently four text muds and each of them has its own mythos and set of races to play although the observant player will notice that there is a good deal of overlap between guilds from the different games. IR games run on a custom game engine,so the acquisition of skills and spells is peculiar to those games and won't be found outside of the IR universe. The room descriptions are deft and there is lots of depth to the play. You can hunt critters, or set your sights on other players. As you may have read on this mailing list, though, all of the Iron Realms guilds require a certain amount of homework. By this, I mean that you have to write little essays and complete quests in order to progress through the early levels of your guild, even if you're just a dumb warrior. Finally, the IR games provide players with opportunities to buy powerful artifacts with RL money, which may add to your experience. Some players blow through the game with hundreds of dollars of such power ups, but they are by no means necessary to enjoyment of the game. Personally, I like to just hang out on my guild channel and banter as much as I like adventuring. You can try my current favorite, Achaea, at: Host Name: achaea.com port 23 Next, I've been doing some exploration of Discworld Mud. Discworld is based upon the popular humorous fantasy novels by Terry Pratchett. There is a lot of silliness on DW, but the game interface and logic is very solid, and I've found players to be very blind friendly. They tend to favor players who take a comic approach to roleplying, but there's plenty hard and fast adventure to be had. One thing I think is cool about DW is that it takes weather into account in a serious way. While your character can wear the usual helms and ringmail shirts, it is also recommended that they purchase socks and underwear for those cold Morporkian nights. Discworld is at Host Name:discworld.atuin.net Port: 23 Finally, I find myself returning again and again to Avatar mud. It's based on the Diku codebase, which I absolutely loathe, but Snikt and his helpers have done such a good job of creating a unique gaming experience that I can forgive even the beastly fidos of Midgaard. There are only seven classes available to start with, but there are numerous very different races and with hero levels and remorting a number ofcool classes are open to the persistent player. I've been coming back to Avatar for more than a dozen years and there are no signs of it going away yet. Avatar is at: Host Name: avatar.outland.org Port: 3000 Good luck, and I look forward to hearing what other Audyssey members think about their favorite muds. --Bill interesting - Original Message - From: Lindsay Cowell lind...@lindsaycowell.freeserve.co.uk To: gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Saturday, January 24, 2009 11:15 AM Subject: [Audyssey] The best muds to play? Does anybody happen to know the reason Evarayn was taken down? Re: [Audyssey] Iron Realms Stuff
I must be loony, but I love all of the homework in Iron Realms games. There are plenty of muds out there for grinding; most of them, in fact. Iron Realms is games are some of the few in which you really have to think about what you're doing, whether you're a paladin or a mage. If the IR crew wants to put up a new game for more hack and slash players --and I'm not knocking that, everyone has fun in a different way--that would be great, but for one I'd hate to see the existing games converted into that sort of thing. --Bill - Original Message - From: Orin orin8...@gmail.com To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Tuesday, January 13, 2009 3:22 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Iron Realms Stuff Yeah, me too. Hey Orin, I had trouble finding Trithik, too. Trithik is in northwest Tysa. You use the Travel link. If you're going from Hawkelor, you travel to the Hart Hills, then to southwest Tysa, then Western Tysa and through to northwest Tysa. Trithik will be one of the linksyoucan go to from there. I'm having a little doubt right now, and thinking it might be Western Tysa, but the principle is the same and I'm pretty sure it's northwest. Hope this helps! --Bill - Original Message - From: Orin [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Friday, November 14, 2008 7:56 PM Subject: [Audyssey] Sryth: Trithik Hey all, It's been a very long time since I've played this game, and I'm getting into it again. I now have a guild subscription, and had just gotten a guild character with guild bonuses and such. However, I forgot the path to take to get to Trithik. Not really sure how to figure that out. Right now I'm just attempting to finish this quest. Also, how can I raise my Melee Rating? It's 26 right now which is a bit low. [Audyssey] Sryth Gear
I have a question about comparing gear in sryth and I couldn't seem to find it on the Sryth wiki. This is the question: when comparing armors, say, is a metal helmet in poor condition better than a leather helm in common or good condition? I do think I read that it's better to have a good dagger than a shoddy longsword, but I can't tell if the same principle applies to armor. Re: [Audyssey] Just started on twilight heroes
I hate to be clueless about this, but what is KoL and howdo I reach it? --Bill - Original Message - From: Shadow Dragon [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Wednesday, October 15, 2008 3:47 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Just started on twilight heroes really there's not much to do on twilight heroes as of yet. Its still pretty heavily beta and the dev doesn't seem to work on it constantly. Once you get past the level like. 9? maybe 11 quest, and get the last skill at level 15, about all there is to do after that is grind. I haven't played around much with the new content suposedly added, but mostly that's because I'm too lazy to screw with alignment. I personally think KoL is a much better game as of now, but then again I've poured so much RL money into KoL by now its not even funny. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can make changes or update your subscription via the web, at http://audyssey.org/mailman/listinfo/gamers_audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] Humanity MOO
I would like to see a cyberpunk component. So you could have an operation to put sockets in your brain for insertable skill chips. Drugs that would increase your skills for a short time. Things like that. --Bill - Original Message - From: Michael Forzano [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Saturday, October 11, 2008 7:28 PM Subject: [Audyssey] Humanity MOO Hi, I know this isn't in the original thread, but I just had to switch email addresses. I'm Mike, the main admin and coder on Humanity MOO. I'd just like to clear up a few things. First, the moo isn't a Miriani clone. Though it has some of the same concepts, lets face it, a lot of the same concepts, it will be much expanded. For example, I have coded a combat system, and I will have weapons etc. The most important thing, though, is that its under development. From what I've heard, MOOs take years to develop and though I feel I've made considerable progress it is still a work in development. For example, the fact of the similar messages, I made it this way so that the game would work with my Miriani soundpack for testing purposes. I will most likely have a name change. But the reason this thread was posted was to ask for ideas and suggestions of things you guys would like to see in a moo that aren't in current moos. Of course, if there any MOO coders out there, I'd be glad to have your help. The moo address is jaybird.no-ip.info port . Remember though, that anything you see is subject to change and I hope you will give the game a chance even if you don't like what you see at this moment. Furthermore, if you do not want to play a game that is under development, don't. I am open to suggestions, not complaints. I hate to sound harsh, but it seems that certain people expect so much from this game but in reality it has been in existence for only 6 months. However, it may turn out that some of you may actually like the game. In any case, suggestions/ideas are welcome.
