You start the game A ways forward there is a rope but nothing to swing over. There is a windy sound on forward and you need your torch on to open it. Once you go threw that there is a harpy you have to kill then some gold. After that you run in to something that I can't get past. Hi Shane, As it sounds like you are not familiar with the game sounds you really should take a listen to the sound descriptions menu to learn what the sounds mean in the game context. For example, what I believe you are calling a windy sound is a munk chant I use for a statue sound. It would be very helpful if you could describe things to us using their proper names rather than that windy sound. As for getting stuck you need to remember that this is a full 2d side-scroller. As the directions state you can go left, right, up, or down in the game. So if you are running into a wall, for example, it is possible you need to find a way up to the next level. That rope you passed by in the previous room is used to climb up into a room above the ones you are in. It is not just there to swing on. Smile. For example, what I believe you are calling a windy sound is a munk chant I use for a statue sound. It would be very helpful if you could describe things to us using their proper names rather than that windy sound. As for getting stuck you need to remember that this is a full 2d side-scroller. As the directions state you can go left, right, up, or down in the game. So if you are running into a wall, for example, it is possible you need to find a way up to the next level. That rope you passed by in the previous room is used to climb up into a room above the ones you are in. It is not just there to swing on. Smile. Hi kevin, What exactly is impolite about refering someone to look at the User's Guide? That is a vary valid suggestion, and often times some gamers have questions because they failed to do any reading before firing up the game for the first time.As a developer it has been my experience that some gamers immediately start up the game, play it a while, have questions, and instead of looking in the User's Guide they go straight to the mailing lists. It is something of an annoyence to a developer to spend hours writing, editing, and preparing the documentation only for some gamers to ignore it, and ask the developer how to play the game when the answer is right there installed on their computer. Hi Shane, Can you give us a little more detail where you are such as the exact coordinates or the current room number? You can get the room number by pressing r and can press c for current location Both would give us a lot more detail on where you are. However, it sounds to me like what happened is instead of jumnping off the rope on the second level you might have jumped back down into the level below and ran into a wall or something down there. That's just my guess, and finding out where you are will confirm that or not. . Cheers!
