Thanks Mike, Null device conflict was the answer, I deleted 2 devices as you indicated and CPRS could connect in the first try. It sounds like you have installed the VA Demo in Cache and have installed a potential production version in GTM. The buttons you describe probably apply to the alerts that will appear in the bottom window as you have patients with unsigned notes and abnormal test results, etc. The installation of VistA was the easy part. Now to start configuring, you need to begin to set things up. The wiki and the geocities links below are probably your best starting point. http://openforum.worldvista.org/~forum/index.php?title=Main_Page WorldVistA wiki http://www.geocities.com/kdtop3/ Kevin Toppenberg's site with documentation he has pulled together both from elsewhere and what he has done On Tuesday 26 July 2005 01:35 pm, Alberto Odor wrote: As you can see in the attached screenshot, I now have a) Linux GT.M installation (left) in use by Administrator,System b) Windows Caché installation (right) in use by Six,Doctor (Sorry, the message with the screenshot is waiting aproval for its size) It results obvious that the Caché Database has data in it while the GT.M Database is empty. If you want to see what errors have been logged, go to programmer mode and D ^XTER However, if the error is a logic error and not what is sometimes colloquially called a hard error, it may not even be logged. If you think in terms of a language like Java, then what you will find here is uncaught checked exceptions (with the screen filtering unchecked exceptions from the default view). --- Mike Lieman [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: On 7/26/05, Greg Woodhouse [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Actually, no. If there are multiple matches, you get an error (non-interactive) or are prompted to select one (interactive). If this is where the resets are occuring, I suspect they are due to a run-time error. Where would that non-interactive error get logged? This is an example of what is called a Common option. Common options are available to everyone. Everyone will have precisely one primary menu, zero or more secondary menus, and access to a number of common options. Maybe I'm stating the obvious here, but you don't have to select the option at any particular menu. Enter ?? to get a list of menus available to you. Another wrinkle is that I believe you can control display of secondaries and common options(?) because some users find it distracting or annoying for them to be included in the list. --- James Gray [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Select Taskman Management Utilities Option: tb User's Toolbox Change my Division Display User Characteristics Edit User Characteristics Electronic Signature code Editright here Menu Templates ...
