Hello, I’ve been used many different AMM's (from many companies). In
my experience
lab-made AMM is the best, there is *modified method *in ihcworld.com. I’m
using this method; slides are good even one year past. And no bubbles.

I'm using modified protocol. I'm storing it at 4C.


*Aqueous Mounting Medium (glycerol gelatin)*


 *Kisser's**Kaiser's**Glycerol jelly**Modified*Gelatine10 g40 g65 g5 gDistilled
water35 ml210 ml300 ml50 mlGlycerol (glycerin)30 ml250 ml100 ml50 mlPhenol
(carbolic acid) 5 ml5 ml





Mix gelatin and distilled water. Heat in 50 C oven until gelatin is
dissolved (it takes about 30 minutes). Add glycerin and adjust pH to 7.0
using 1N NaOH (to avoid fading of hematoxylin). Store at room temperature.



Warm to 37-40 C before mounting. Note: Modified protocol works well.

Sometimes edges of tissues can get more stain due to disruption of edge's
cells more than center during the antigen retrieval. But this is not  false
positivity. It must pay attention to this situation

In addition to Rene's comment,to cut coagulated tissue (skin that have
new wound crust) and calcified tissue is difficult.

.. I didnt use but i have heard that is good working.

for sarcocyst I can send blocks by regular mail. But Imho no need IHC for
sarcocyst.

I’m looking for “mmp-1, mmp-2, ER beta, TIMP-1, Collagen 1, and Collagen 3”
antibodies that work on canine tissue (dog). Does anybody have any

Imho because of the color, Weigert's Iron Hematoxylin is dark brown. Gill's
3 is blue. anilin blue is also blue. imho it would be better stain with
Weigert's Iron Hematoxylin.

decalcification method. ? i need to all of steps of procudure; fixation,
decalcification and tissue processing.  I will decalcificate rabbit
