Hari ini hamba kena balik kerja, memba-memba ramai
lagi yg masih sedang bercuti, tengah mabuk lemang
agaknya.
Boring tak tau nak buat apa, saja-sajalah pi surf
masuk baca STAR-ONline kot-kot ada cerita terbaru, tak
ada apa yg menarik cuma berita besaq kata lebih kurang
10,000 orang mai beraya dengan Dr Mahathir. Ada sorang
tu pulak diberitakan sanggup mai dari jauh semata-mata
untuk dpt peluang bersalam dan bersemuka dengan Dr
Mahathir.
Ish,ish kira hebatlah sungguh la orang tua nie no
hinggakan berlumba-lumba rakyat jelata pakat nak mai
mengadap dia:

ada satu bancian/survey nak tengok reaksi org ramai
kpd satu cadangan daripada seorang hakim agar untuk
kesalahan2 tertentu (rogol anak sendiri kot?)
hukumannya ialah di "KASI" kan anu si perogolnya.
Saya saja-sajalah pi klik tang "SETUJU/AGREE".

mereka menjadi auliya', maka sesungguhnya orang itu termasuk

Fatwa ini juga terpakai pada mana-mana orang dan puak yang ber-
setuju Amerika membunuh ummat Islam Taliban.

Jerusalem, and massive numbers of Palestinians permitted to live
in Israel. It wants, to be blunt, a start to the dismantling of
the Jewish state.
Arafat's speech yesterday, in which he both condemned violence
against Israel and demanded a "right of return" for millions of
Palestinians to Israeli territory, broke no new ground but merely
reiterated some tired rhetoric of his. The U.S. government properly
responded by demanding not words but "concrete action."
Israel has a counterstrategy, one increasingly evident since Ariel
Sharon became prime minister in early 2001: It is to show Pales-
tinians the futility of their dream to destroy Israel by squeezing
them through the loss of mobility, a steep decline in living stan-
dards, and a collective malaise.

in March 2001, Israelis have found their old spirit, their old unity
and their old purpose.
The paralyzing divisions of the '90s have nearly disappeared, as
have the self-hating "post-Zionism" themes (which ridiculed Israeli
patriotism) and the defeatism (which prompted a unilateral withdrawal
from Lebanon).
The shift is no less dramatic on the Palestinian side. The militant
Islamic suicide bombings may suggest robust determination, but they
mask widespread despair and pessimism. How else to explain the sudden
offer (and embarrassed retraction) last week of a temporary truce
with Israel by the military wings of Hamas, Islamic Jihad and two
military groups connected to Arafat?
Note too that Arafat recently appointed Sari Nusseibeh, a moderate
Palestinian who accepts Israel's right to exist, as his representa-
tive in Jerusalem.
Palestinians fully know how much they have sacrificed over the past
year - the lives of their children, their personal well-being - and
how little they have accomplished. Such failure makes it hard for
them to sustain the political will to destroy Israel.
Should Yasser Arafat exit the political scene, that goal will become
even more remote. The Palestinian Authority could well split in two,
for it consists of two geographically separate regions (the West Bank
and Gaza), each dominated by a strongman (respectively, Jibril Rajoub
and Mohammed Dahlan).
If these toughs emerge as rulers of their areas, as seems likely,
the Palestinian national movement will be fractured as never before,
and the battle against Zionism will become yet more difficult.
For these reasons, a rapid decline of Palestinian will appears
likely, as has happened several times before (in 1939, 1949, 1967,
1991) - though this one could well be more severe.
There is good news here: If Israelis can sustain their recent sense
of common purpose and resolve, Palestinians may give up - perhaps
permanently - on their goal of destroying Israel.

Outside, darkness had fallen, but though the Ramadan fast was over the men who sat riveted to the screen of the single television in Jalalabad's Afghan Hotel were not in the mood for the customary celebration. On the screen flickered a blurred picture: a tall, grey-bearded man in a white turban talking in Arabic to a number of other similarly attired associates. These fuzzy, broken images were the 'smoking gun' - bin Laden's long-awaited, albeit apparently unwitting, personal confession. The men in the Afghan Hotel had a more pressing, more local interest too. According to the American authorities who solemnly released the tape last week, it had been found nearby, in a ruined building once used by Arab fighters from bin Laden's al-Qaeda organisation. It had been seized when Mujahideen fighters entered their city a few hours after al-Qaeda's Taliban protectors had left. That, the viewers knew, was certainly possible. By the morning after the 'liberation' of Jalalabad, fighters loyal to Commander Hazrat Ali had seized safehouses and training complexes linked to al-Qaeda. Ali has cooperated with the Americans and the story that he had passed the tape on to the CIA was very plausible. But then doubts began to surface. Why had bin Laden broken his tight security to talk? Why had he not used one of his normally favoured media outlets? Was the tape genuine? Was this indeed bin Laden at all? The tape was certainly damning. It showed bin Laden laughing and boasting about the 11 September attacks as he talks to his interviewer, a Saudi cleric who has travelled through war-racked Afghanistan to see him. Bin Laden, flanked by two key aides, describes how the planes did far more damage to the World Trade Centre than he ever imagined. 'We calculated in advance the number of casualties from the enemy... that the floors that would be hit would be three or four floors,' he says. 'I was the most optimistic of them all.' Bin Laden also indicates that the men who carried out the plot knew that they were on a 'martyrdom operation' but did not have details of the mission until the last minute. This weekend, as the debate the tape has provoked continued across the Islamic world, several intelligence sources have suggested to The Observer that the tape, although absolutely genuine, is the result of a sophisticated sting operation run by the CIA through a second intelligence service, possibly Saudi or Pakistani. 'They needed someone whom they could persuade or coerce to get close to bin Laden and someone whom bin Laden would feel secure talking to. If it works, you have got the perfect evidence at the perfect moment,' said one security source. 'It's a masterstroke.' The focus of suspicion is the Saudi dissident preacher who appears to have taped the interview, conducted according to the timecode on the video on 9 November, in what appears to be a guesthouse in the Afghan city of Kandahar. Though unidentified in the one-hour recording, security sources have told The Observer that the interviewer, who appears to be disabled from the waist down, is Ali Saeed al-Ghamdi, a former assistant professor of theology at a seminary in Mecca. Saudis who watched the tape said the interviewer's accent betrayed roots in the south-west of their country, either the lower Hejaz or Asir province, where most of the 15 Saudi hijackers were from. Bin Laden bows down to greet the cleric, who has not stood up to greet him. Only someone who was incapable of rising would not be on his feet in the presence of such a famous and revered man, Islamic experts said yesterday. Al-Ghamdi, who is known to Saudi intelligence services, is a marginal figure who tried to make a name for himself through inflammatory anti-Western speeches before being banned from preaching in 1994, one Saudi close to the government said. In the late Nineties he preached in obscure mosques along the highway leading from the port city of Jedda - where bin Laden grew up - to the holy city of Mecca, but his firebrand oratory drew only small audiences. Senior Saudi government figures and religious scholars tend to dismiss such men as insignificant. 'They are not big-time and they don't have the legitimacy and the religious scholarship that the big guys have,' said Nawaf Obeid, a Saudi security analyst. 'They make a name for themselves with how extreme they are. They aggrandise themselves by claiming they are with bin Laden.' Security sources stress that, despite his Islamist credentials, al-Ghamdi would still be a potential point of contact for Pakistani, Saudi or Egyptian intelligence. JALALABAD (Special Report): Commander Hazrat Ali's claim and the
American verification that the Arab Mujahideen in Tora Bora have
surrendered has no truth in it. According to reliable sources,
Commander Hazrat Ali has been claiming since yesterday that 50
Arab Mujahideen, after negotiations, have put down weapons and
handed themselves to him, while on the other hand US soldiers have
been claiming that they have captured 50 Arab Mujahideen. There
is a clear contradiction in the statements of Commander Hazrat Ali
and the US forces. It must be clarified that the 50 Arab Mujahideen
about whom Commander Hazrat Ali is claiming have surrendered are
a fraction of those 600- 700 Mujahideen who came towards Jalalabad
after the withdrawal from Kabul and they were then arrested then
by Hazrat Ali.
KANDAHAR (KPI): In Tora Bora, 4 US Marines were seriously injured
two days ago. According to CNN, these 4 US Marines were injured when
they had a fierce clash with Al-Qaida members. The US Marines are
facing great resistance from Al-Qaida during these clashes. Two of
the Marines are in a critical condition.
JALALABAD (Basheer Bajori): The timeframe given to Arab Mujahideen
for negotiations from the Northern Alliance was infact a war-trap.
According to reliable source, the Northern Alliance, on sensing
defeat after defeat in the mountains of Tora Bora and heavy losses
of life and equipment, they revealed that it was impossible to defeat
the Arab Mujahideen then they gave a 24 hour deadline to the Arab
Mujahideen in order to hide their defeat. They asked the Mujahideen
to bend down their heads down infront of them but the true purpose
behind this was to give time to the Arab Mujahideen to evacuate the
region of Tora Bora and move towards some other region so that they
can show their success infront of the Americans. The Arab Mujahideens
were able to understand this trick so they refused negotiations and
strengthened their bunkers. US forces and Northern Alliance troops
have sustained heavy losses during their ground attacks so far. The
Arab Mujahideen have clearly said that they they will continue figh-
ting until their last breath against the Americans and its Coalition
forces and that they will never bow down their heads infront of
anyone except Allah.

Just weeks ago the Middle East experts were warning that such
violations of Islamic sensibilities would cause an explosion of
anti-Americanism. Where, then, is the vaunted "Arab street," the
pro-Osama demonstrations, the anti-American riots? Where are the
seething masses rising up against America and its nominal allies
from Egypt to Pakistan?
Nowhere to be seen. The street is silent.
In a prescient lecture Oct. 20, Middle East Quarterly editor
Martin Kramer says: The way to tame the Arab street is not with
appeasement and sweet sensitivity, but with raw power and victory.
It is now a capital offense to harbor terrorists. Literally.
Harbor them and your regime dies.
The elementary truth that seems to elude the experts again and
again - Gulf War, Afghan war, next war - is that power is its own
reward. Victory changes everything, psychology above all. The
psychology in the region is now one of fear and deep respect for
American power. Now is the time to use it to deter, defeat or
destroy the other regimes in the area that are host to radical
Islamic terrorism.
Hence Stage Two. No, not Iraq yet. It surely is the worst
terrorist threat, but because it is the worst and the most
difficult, it will require more planning, and more political
and military preparation. Now is the time to go for the low-
hanging fruit: giving the Philippines assistance in crushing
their own al Qaeda guerrillas. Telling the thugs running Sudan,
Syria, Libya and Yemen to cease and desist, to shut down the
training camps, to cough up the terrorists -- "or else," as
the president so delicately puts it ..
