A long time ago we requested a user-editable file for loading alternate game dlls and it got denied. We also requested a command line parameter which got "accepted" but never added; though that isn't as useful anyway because game server providers usually don't give access to the command line. RE: [hlds] TeamFortress 2 dedicated server update
U.. Why are you updating gameinfo.txt with the exact same file that was pushed out in the last update? For the love of everything good implement the whitelist update change I suggested or just don't update files such as this one unless a change REALLY happened and needs to be pushed out -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Alfred Reynolds Sent: Wednesday, November 07, 2007 10:23 PM To: hlds@list.valvesoftware.com; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [hlds] TeamFortress 2 dedicated server update A required update for Team Fortress 2 and it's dedicated have been released. Alfred, please post to hlds_announce when there's an update. I have that programmed to txt me and otherwise I don't see these for 30 minutes, typically, since you guys always seem to release on nights when I'm not at home =\. -John - Original Message - From: "Alfred Reynolds" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: ; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, November 07, 2007 7:23 PM Subject: [hlds] TeamFortress 2 dedicated server update A required update for Team Fortress 2 and it's dedicated have been released.
