Hi! There are several ways of doing this. These three comes into my mind, but there might be other ways. 1. Create a plugin (sourcemod or amxmodx) that saves all the ip's and parse that afterwards. 2. Send logs to a daemon that parse each logmessage and record the ip (logaddress_add). Writing the daemon should not be that difficult. You can probably use inetd to handle the connections and just parse the messages with a simple script. 3. parse the logs in the logdirs and record the ip's. I hope you have a local copy of the ASN list. Otherwise you might be blacklisted when you do a lot of queries. I would also suggest that you have everything in a DB and do a local lookup there before sending a query. /Bjorn ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux I don't run, and i whon't un metamod/sourcemod for this task. Re: [hlds_linux] SourceTV Relay Proxy?
Hi again. The standalone server doesnt automagicly connect to the gameservers sourcetv. I have to execute tv_relay ip:port i thought i could use +tv_relay ip:port in the startparameters. But that didn't work. The standalone server connects fine if i execute the command in the console :/ Any idea on how to solve this? I'd like it to connect automagicly. Re: [hlds_linux] SourceTV Relay Proxy?
I get this in the dedicated SourceTV console Auto detecting CPU Using SSE2 Optimised binary. Server will auto-restart if there is a crash. Console initialized. Game.dll loaded for "Counter-Strike: Source" maxplayers set to 32 couldn't exec valve.rc Network: IP 4.3.2.1, mode MP, dedicated Yes, ports 27015 SV / 27005 CL tv_status SourceTV not active. And yes, 4.3.2.1 is not the ip, im using, i use another external ip. Kind Regards /M > The wording is kinda hard to understand maybe. Re: [hlds_linux] SourceTV Relay Proxy?
Hi. Yes, we have. I have a gameserver started with the following parameters. ./srcds_run -game "cstrike" +hostname "hostname" +rcon_password "rconpass" +sv_password "password" -tvmasteronly +ip 1.2.3.4 +map de_dust2 +maxplayers 16 -tickrate 100 +fps_max 600 In the server.cfg i have tv_enable 1 tv_port 27020 tv_password pass The dedicated SourceTV starts with the following parameters. ./srcds_run -game cstrike -ip 4.3.2.1 +tv_port 27021 +tv_relay 1.2.3.4:27020 +tv_maxclients 100 +tv_maxrate 2000 +tv_password password What do i do wrong? [hlds_linux] SourceTV Relay Proxy?
Hi. We run our srcds with -tvmasteronly becouse we think it's stupid to enable 255 slots on the gameserver. But as i understand the wiki (http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Source_TV) it's not possible to connect a Dedicated sourcetv to the one on the gameserver. -tvmasteronly SourceTV can only serve one client and can't be used as relay proxy. So, how should we do, if we don't whant our customers to be able to set the slots by them self, on their gameservers sourcetv? But they should be able to connect Sourcetv to the one on their gameserver. /M ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux

[hlds_linux] SRCTV TF2/CSS compatible?
Hi. I wonder if i could create a srctv from a counter-strike source installation and connect it to a TF2 server? Is it the same binaries or do i need to start a SRCTV from a TF2 (Orangebox) installation? [hlds_linux] HLGuard Extremely CPU intensive?
Hi All! I'd like to point out a warning, HLGuard is extremely CPU intensive. After trying to run 2 FFA servers (20 players) and one match server (10 players) on one machine (2.2gHz P4), it was pretty clear that the CPU was totally throttled. Even though it'd seem like 3 servers would be nothing for a brand new 2.2gHz. After some investigation and turning HLguard on/off in critical situations (new round, people meet) the difference was humongous! w/o HLG idling+spiking at 0.5-2 % with HLG idling+spiking at 2-70 (!) % and this only with one server. hence, it was out of my servers pretty quick. Is this something that is going to occur in VAC ? If that's the case then future server hosting doesn't look very good :( /Magnus ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
