lol, christ. > > Yah and my 486 still makes a great paper weight to, get with the times, > > not using a mouse doesn't make you cool anymore, just unproductive, Anyone else care to pull this statement apart? A 486 or a p75 is a great asset depending on what you want to do with it. If you just want to host a personal web page, or run an irc bouncer, or use it as a second screen to view IRC over (IRSSI > BitchX, by the way..) they are COST EFFECTIVE solutions. Why bother paying £700 ish for a new computer with all the bells and whistles when a 486 will do just as well? Oh, and just TRY running x-windows on a p75 or 486, i dare ya. - Original Message - From: "Udo Held" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, June 08, 2003 12:10 PM Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] [OT] Multi-threaded email client > Hi! > > On Sun, Jun 08, 2003 at 01:00:49AM -0400, Nicholas Hockey wrote: > > On Sat, 2003-06-07 at 23:53, Udo Held wrote: > > > Hi! > > > > > > On Sat, Jun 07, 2003 at 10:59:06PM -0400, Tyler Overkill Schwend wrote: > > > > > www.mutt.org > > > > > > > > > > A text emailclient. It has to much automatisisms one has to deactivate before on can use it(at least it was 2 years ago). I will stick to my graphical Windows IRC client The rest of my apps run under windows. Reading e-mails through a ssh session on my linux box which has no monitor is no problem. For cut&paste I'm using the mouse on my Windows box within the ssh session as well. But it's strange. You are flameing me instead of giving the initiator an answer. The initiator asked for a e-mail-client that supports threading. mutt supports threading and that was the thing the initiator asked for. Re: [hlds_linux] [OT] Multi-threaded email client
ximians evolution, i love it and it does a great jopb with threads. the only downside is it's heavy dependency on gnome lib's and tools, slyphed does a good job also, and is alot lighter weight, but if yer more used to outlook i would feel more comfortable ( and it has awsome imap support and gnupg which i use quite often) On Sat, 2003-06-07 at 17:57, David Fencik wrote: > Outlook does a crappy job with threaded emails.
