I don't know if you can have the color setup for mails you receive from IBM -main. However, you can set up a rule in your Lotus Notes to move every email you receive from IBM-Main into a different folder. here 's the procedure to do it : 1. Go to 'TOOLS' on your left hand side . Select 'Rules' . 2. Select 'New Rule' tab . 3. When sender contains 'IBM Mainframe Discussion List' then move to ' your desired folder-name' . 4. Click on add action. 5. Ok. and done.. :-) Thanks, Raj This is a PRIVATE message. If you are not the intended recipient, please delete without copying and kindly advise us by e-mail of the mistake in delivery. I assume you are talking about the colors tab under tools preferences. I never tried it with outside addresses before, but I just did and it worked. It will even update existing emails as long as you exit your mail box and re-enter (perhaps that is your problem). You might also want to open one of the emails and use filedocument properties and look at the tab that shows the details for all the different fields (2nd tab in my case) and verify what is in the From field. BTW, I'm using a notes 6.5.1 client.
