Thanks Samal Usually free things would not be as reliable as, say their paid counterparts, but in this case, yes, it would be as reliable, if not more. However you would do well to study in advance what exactly you need to support before deciding on a particular distro. Each distro has its particular strength and the community would be glad to help you. Be also aware that in India it is difficult to find well advertised qualified linux talent for your queries. A Linux server, standing alone, and doing little, can stay up for years. Apache servers have stood up to the worst the 'net has had to throw at them.
