Re: [ilugd] Calling all Apache Solr/open-source search engine users in Delhi/NCR
Hey Seeing as how search has now become an integral part of many websites, and is among the most interesting areas of still-emerging technologies, at least IMHO, I think that it would be interesting if we could have a meet-up of people in the Delhi/NCR region who are interested in this area. Great ! I am in. Please follow up to this message, ideally with a brief description of any work that you have done in this area. Hopefully we can arrange a meeting for this weekend, else for the next. Next week end would be much better . - Ankur Saxena ___ Ilugd mailing list Ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd

Why not Gnome calculator. It has Advanced, Scientific Financial modes. In all but the basic mode, it has variables - a,b,c, x, y and z Current result can be saved in any of the variables. Using them is easy, just type x + y and the values stored in x y will be added. 2. KCalc has the common Memory register. I can't recall my 'favourite' calculator. It's display was like a paper scroll so virtually unlimited memory. I could pick and any value from the scroll. I've a nokia n72 have never found the way to do so yet. I am using a N72 myself and when I purchased it more than 2 years back, I searched a lot on the same issue. The conclusion of my search was: N72 and N70 are based on Symbian S60 2nd Edition Feature Pack 2 which is a slightly older OS. Other N-Series were based on S60 3rd edition or later which supported selecting the mode on connecting the phone with a PC using USB - the modes were Data Storage and PC Suite mode, if you selected the former the phone could work as a storage device and yeah GPRS worked too. But this was not the case with N72. I tried using other software mentioned earlier in the thread like wammu/gammu but couldn't get the phone to work, although it was being detected if you issue 'lsusb' command If you can figure out (I couldn't at that time, and then never tried) how to share net over bluetooth you may have a chance. -- Kartik Singhal BTech CSE Student, NIT Calicut http://www.techglider.com ___ Ilugd mailing list Ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd
